上述のごとく、従来、欠切部を含むような複雑な構造物を鋳造する金型は見当たらず、欠切部となるべき部分を残したまま鋳造を行った後、機械加工で欠切部を形成するのが一般的であり、事後の工数が増えるという欠点があった。
本発明は、比較的簡単な方法でこの問題を解決して、欠切部を含む鋳造物を鋳込んで、事後の加工処理を無くすことが可能な鋳造用金型の実現を課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を達成するため、本発明は、切部に対応する突起部分と、それ以外の部分に対応する平面部分とを具備し、前記突起部分を前記平面部分の内部に退避可能にし、かつ、隣接する各部分の間に、面位置から後部へと広がる楔状の空間を設けた欠切部(アンダーカット)を有する鋳造物を製造するための鋳造用金型としている。これにより、比較的容易に、欠切部を含む鋳造物を一度の鋳造で製造することができる金型を実現することができる。

以下、本発明にかかる鋳造用金型を添付図面を参照にして詳細に説明する。

図1は、本発明の鋳造用金型が鋳造対象とする蓋部を有する携帯型CD再生装置の蓋を開いた状態での外観斜視図である。図1において、符号1は本体部、符号1−3は止め金、符号2は蓋部、符号2−1はロック機構、符号2−2はヒンジアーム部である。
この筐体の本体部1は例えばPC(ポリカーボネート)とABS樹脂との混合樹脂の成型によって形成されている。また、蓋部2はロック機構2−1およびヒンジアーム部2−2の突起部分を含めてマグネシュウム合金のダイキャストによって製造される。
