本発明は便蓋開閉検知装置及び便座装置に関し、特に便器上に載置固定される本体カバーに開閉回動自在に枢支されかつ開閉速度抑制手段にて急激な開閉が抑制されている便蓋の開閉を検知する便蓋開閉検知装置、及びその検知信号によって温水タンク又は便座又はそれら両者の温度設定を可変して節電を図るようにした便座装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来から、便器上に載置固定される本体カバーに便座と便蓋を回動自在に枢支した便座装置は知られており、さらにそれに保温便座や温水洗浄装置を設けたものも知られている。

また、便蓋が開いた状態から自重で急激に閉じて便器上に衝突し、不快な音を発生したり、閉じている便蓋を手荒く開いて便蓋がその開位置ストッパなどに激しく衝突し、便蓋の損傷の原因になったりするのを防止するため、便蓋の枢支部に回転オイルダンパなどの開閉速度抑制手段を配設したものも知られている。

ところで、保温便座や温水洗浄装置を設けた便座装置において、便座の温度や温水タンクの温度を、便座を使用しない時にも使用時と同じ温度に保つように制御すると、熱の無駄な消費が大きく、消費電力が大きいという問題がある。そこで、便蓋が閉じられている非使用時には、保温温度を低く設定することにより消費電力を小さくし、節電できるようにした便座装置が考えられる。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の便蓋開閉検知装置は、便蓋の枢支部に相対回転不可に係合して支持する制動支軸を備えた開閉速度抑制手段を便器上に載置固定される本体カバーに配設した便座装置における便蓋開閉検知装置であって、開閉速度抑制手段の制動支軸に径方向外方に突出する回転位置指示片を設け、開閉速度抑制手段の取付部の適所に回転位置指示片を検知する検知手段を配設したことを基本構成とするものであり、この基本構成により、制動支軸には回転位置指示片を設けるだけでよいため制動支軸の軸芯方向の寸法を殆ど又は全く大きくせずに済み、この回転位置指示片を開閉速度抑制手段の取付部の適所に配設した検知手段にて検知するので、本体カバーの便蓋支承部の幅寸法を大きくする必要がなくて、所定の幅寸法に納まるようにコンパクトに構成することができる。なお、回転位置指示片は制動支軸と一体的に形成してもよいが、次のように別部材にて構成してもよい。また、上記基本構成に加え、さらに、制動支軸に嵌合可能な指示リングの内周の少なくとも一部に制動支軸の異径部に係合する異径部を設けるとともに、指示リングの外周から回転位置指示片を突設すると、制動支軸に対して指示リングを嵌合することによって回転位置指示片を設けたことを特徴として、既成の開閉速度抑制手段をそのまま用いることができて、低コストにて構成できる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の便蓋開閉検知装置を温水洗浄便座装置に適用した一実施形態について、図1〜図6を参照して説明する。
