Description

The present invention relates to a label made of a synthetic resin film having a texture of Japanese paper or fabric.

In general, various types of containers such as glass bottles and PET bottles, wide-mouthed containers, cup-shaped containers, and the like mainly use labels printed with product names and designs. There are various forms of such labels, and heat-shrinkable cylindrical labels that can be shrink-fitted, tack labels that are coated with an adhesive, and the like are known depending on the application. As a material of such a label, a synthetic resin film or plain paper is generally used, but a label made of Japanese paper such as Yunlong paper is also known. Such a label made of Japanese paper is preferable because it can improve the product image, but it cannot be attached to the shrink, and is harder to print than a film or the like, and has a high material cost. On the other hand, a label using a synthetic resin film does not have such a problem, but even if decorative printing imitating Japanese paper or cloth is simply applied to the film, it is difficult to give a texture of Japanese paper or cloth.

Then, this invention makes it a subject to provide the label devised so that it may have the texture of a Japanese paper or a cloth on the external appearance using the film made from a synthetic resin.

In the present invention, on the front and back surfaces of the transparent film layer made of synthetic resin, a front pattern printing layer and a back pattern printing layer on which a plurality of fibrous patterns are printed are provided. Provided with a label in which a part of a plurality of fibrous patterns is printed so that they intersect each other, a design printing layer is provided on the surface of the surface pattern printing layer, and a matte layer is provided on the surface of the design printing layer To do.

In such a label, the front pattern print layer and the back pattern print layer are provided with a transparent film layer sandwiched therebetween, so that the fibrous pattern of the back pattern print layer is located farther than that of the front pattern print layer. Furthermore, since the front pattern printing layer and the back pattern printing layer are printed so that a part of the plurality of fibrous patterns intersect, the fibrous patterns of both layers have intersecting portions in some places and the patterns. There is a blank portion in the gap. Therefore, when the label is viewed from the front side, the fibrous pattern of the back pattern printed layer appears slightly hazy than the fibrous pattern of the front pattern printed layer, and further, in the blank portion generated between the fibrous patterns. In this case, since the transparent film layer is visible, it looks as if the fibrous patterns printed on both layers are three-dimensionally overlapped due to the perspective difference and the light / dark difference (color difference). In addition, the design printing layer is interposed, and the surface of the surface pattern printing layer is provided with a matte layer, so that the fibrous pattern expressed by printing can be made closer to natural fibers, As a whole, a label having a texture of Japanese paper or fabric in which natural fibers overlap in the thickness direction can be formed.
In addition, since the label of the present invention is made of a synthetic resin film, a container of the container is formed by using a heat-shrinkable film as the film layer and forming it in a cylindrical shape so that the back surface of the film layer becomes the inner peripheral surface. A heat-shrinkable cylindrical label that can be shrink-mounted on a portion or the like can be configured.

The label according to the present invention has a texture of Japanese paper or fabric by devising a printing technique while being a synthetic resin film. Therefore, a label having a texture such as Japanese paper that can impress a viewer with a good product image can be provided simply and inexpensively. In addition, the label of the present invention can be a heat-shrinkable cylindrical label. When the label is attached to a container having a tertiary curved surface such as a PET bottle, the outer peripheral surface of the container is attached to substantially the entire circumference of the container. Japanese paper-like or fabric-like appearance can be applied.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings. 1 is a perspective view of a heat-shrinkable cylindrical label, FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of a label base material, and FIGS. 3A and 3B are enlarged views (dotted lines) of enclosing portions A and B in FIG. Indicates a fibrous pattern of the back pattern printed layer).
1 to 3, reference numeral 1 includes a front pattern back layer 2 and a back pattern back layer 4 each having a plurality of different fibrous patterns 31 and 41 printed on the front and back surfaces 2 a and 2 b of the film layer 2. The side edges 5a and 5b of the label base 5 are overlapped into a cylindrical shape so that the back surface 2b side of the film layer 2 is the inner surface of the label, and this overlapped portion is attached with a solvent or an adhesive. The heat-shrinkable cylindrical label in which the seal part 6 was formed is shown.

Specifically, the label substrate 5 is made of a transparent film layer 2 made of synthetic resin, and a printed surface of a fiber-like display group consisting of a plurality of fibrous patterns 31 is formed on the surface 2a of the film layer 2. A pattern printing layer 3 is provided. On the surface 3a of the surface pattern printing layer 3, a design printing layer 7 including a product-related display 71 such as a product name, a description, and a decorative design is provided in a single color or multicolor printing by a known printing method such as gravure printing. It has been. In addition, as shown to Fig.3 (a), the fibrous pattern 31,41 of the surface pattern printing layer 3 or the back pattern printing layer 4 is shown in the part in which the product relation display 71 of this design printing layer 7 is not represented. Is visible. Further, a matte layer 8 is provided on the surface 7a of the design print layer 7 to such an extent that the translucency is not impaired. The matte layer 8 is provided by performing a matte treatment on the surface 7a of the design printing layer 7 by a method such as solid printing of a mat ink containing a matting agent such as silica fine particles. The front pattern print layer 3, the back pattern print layer 4, and the matte layer 8 may be provided except for a specific display portion such as a barcode and the center seal portion 6 described above.

On the other hand, similarly, the back surface printed layer 4 of the fiber-like display group consisting of a plurality of fibrous patterns 41 is provided on the back surface 2b of the film layer 2, and the fibrous pattern of the back pattern printed layer 4 is provided. 41 has a different display pattern (design) compared to the fibrous pattern 31 of the front pattern printing layer 3. Furthermore, on the back surface 4b of this back pattern printed layer 4, the slipperiness of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical label 1 is improved, and the opening of the cylindrical label folded in a flat shape and the outer peripheral surface of the container at the time of heat shrinkage The low friction layer 9 is provided for smooth sliding. This low friction layer 9 is obtained by solid printing a colorless transparent medium ink substantially free of pigment or a light white ink containing a small amount of white pigment on the back surface 4b of the back print layer 4 by a gravure printing method or the like. These inks are preferably mixed with additives such as waxes, silicones, and various lubricants in order to further improve the slipperiness. In addition, since this low friction layer 9 is provided on the back surface 4b of the back pattern printed layer 4, considering that the low friction layer 9 can be seen from the blank portion 11 between the fibrous patterns 31, 41, the above colorless transparent medium ink In addition, it is preferable to use light-colored ink having translucency, and when the low friction layer 9 is colored, it is preferable to select a color different from the fibrous patterns 31 and 41.

The fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of the front pattern printing layer 3 and the back pattern printing layer 4 are colored ink application portions imitating natural fibers, and are formed by a known printing method such as gravure printing or flexographic printing. ing. The plurality of fibrous patterns 31 and 41 are not particularly determined, and are printed in a state where a plurality of irregular shapes are arranged randomly. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of both layers 3 and 4 are different in shape and arrangement in most portions when viewed with the film layer 2 interposed therebetween, but natural fibers overlap. In order to produce a Japanese paper-like texture, a part of the fibrous patterns 31, 41 of both layers 3, 4 has an intersecting portion 10 that intersects in some places, and the fibrous patterns 31, 41 of both layers 3, 4. It is printed so as to have a blank portion 11 in the gap.
More specifically, the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of the both layers 3 and 4 are expressed in a manner similar to natural fibers such as kouzo, mitsumata, ganpi, hemp, hemp, and cotton. About 1 to 2 mm in length and about 1 to 5 cm in length (in some cases, a larger number (a width of 2 mm or more) may be scattered in a small number), some are straight, some are bent, A plurality of arbitrary shapes such as a rounded one or a pointed tip are formed. Further, in order to make the planar fibrous patterns 31 and 41 by printing appear to have a thickness like natural fibers, the color of the peripheral portion is made thinner than the central portion, or the ink coating thickness of the peripheral portion is set to the central portion. The fibrous patterns 31 and 41 in a form in which the printing density of the peripheral portion is made thinner than that of the central portion by making it thinner is preferable. Furthermore, the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 may be represented in a form in which a streak is represented in the longitudinal direction so as to imitate a wrinkle or the like, and in order to give a feeling of fluff, an extremely fine fiber piece is projected from the peripheral portion. Moreover, the color of the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of both layers 3 and 4 is not particularly limited, but a color close to natural fibers, such as white, light yellow, and light brown, is preferable. Further, the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of both layers 3 and 4 may have the same printing density (color density and ink coating thickness) in both layers 3 and 4, but they look like Japanese paper with overlapping natural fibers. Therefore, it is preferable to make the printing density of the fibrous pattern 41 of the back pattern printing layer 4 thinner than the front pattern printing layer 3. The fibrous patterns 31 and 41 in the layers 3 and 4 may be provided by being overprinted in two or more times.

Next, the film layer 2 is made of a colored transparent synthetic resin film that can be printed on the front and back surfaces 2a and 2b and is colorless and transparent or thinly colored so that the back pattern printed layer 4 can be seen through. Is not particularly limited, and is selected from, for example, polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate, olefin resins such as polypropylene, styrene resins such as polystyrene and styrene-butadiene copolymers, cyclic olefin resins, and vinyl chloride resins. A synthetic resin film composed of one kind or a mixture of two or more kinds may be used, and a laminated film obtained by laminating two or more kinds of different films may be used. In the case of a heat-shrinkable cylindrical label as in this embodiment, a heat-shrinkable film configured to be heat-shrinkable by a known process may be used. This heat-shrinkable film is, for example, a uniaxially stretched film having at least 30% heat shrinkage (immersion in 80 ° C. warm water for 10 seconds) in at least one direction (circumferential direction when a cylindrical label is used) or the main stretch direction It is preferable to use a biaxially stretched film slightly stretched in a direction perpendicular to the direction. The film layer preferably has a thickness of about 20 to 100 μm.

When the cylindrical label 1 is viewed from the surface 2a side of the film layer 2, the fibrous pattern 41 of the back pattern printed layer 4 is located farther than the fibrous pattern 31 of the front pattern printed layer 3 (depth feeling). Looks like there is). In particular, when the print density for displaying the fibrous pattern 41 of the back pattern printed layer 4 is printed thinner than that of the front pattern printed layer 3, the fibrous pattern 41 of the back pattern printed layer 4 is more wrinkled. Therefore, the fibrous pattern 41 of the back pattern printed layer 4 appears to be located further away. Further, since the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of the front pattern printed layer 3 and the back pattern printed layer 4 have the intersecting portion 10, the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of both layers 3 and 4 overlap in some places, and both fibrous patterns Since there is a blank portion 11 without the display in the gap between the patterns 31 and 41, the blank portion 11 looks brighter than the fibrous patterns 31 and 41, for example. The fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of both layers 3 and 4 seem to overlap three-dimensionally due to the perspective difference of the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of both layers 3 and 4 and the contrast (color difference) with the blank portion 11. It looks like this. Furthermore, since the matte layer 9 is provided on the surface 3a side of the surface pattern printing layer 3, the fibrous patterns 31, 41 look more like natural fibers. Combined with these, the cylindrical label 1 of the present invention has an appearance having a texture of Japanese paper.
Moreover, since the said cylindrical label 1 consists of a heat-shrinkable film, it can mount | wear easily also to the container which has an outer peripheral surface shape with a large diameter difference or a big level | step difference. Therefore, the labeled container to which the label 1 is attached can have an appearance such that substantially the entire circumference of the container is wrapped with Japanese paper. In addition, the container to which the label 1 is attached is preferably a transparent container, such as a glass bottle or a PET bottle, from which the effect of translucency of the blank portion 11 can be obtained.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and appropriate configurations can be added, substituted, and changed in design within the scope intended by the present invention. Hereinafter, parts different from those of the above-described embodiments will be mainly described. For the same configuration, terms and drawing numbers are used, and description thereof is omitted.
In the above embodiment, the front pattern print layer 3 and the back pattern print layer 4 have a texture of Japanese paper because the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 are irregularly arranged randomly. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 are in the form of elongated threads, and the surface pattern printing layer 3 is arranged such that the fibrous fibrous patterns 31 are parallel to each other at a predetermined interval, Further, the back pattern printed layer 4 may constitute the label 1 using a label base material 5 in which the thread-like fibrous patterns 41 are arranged in parallel in the vertical direction at a predetermined interval. Such a label 1 has a fabric texture in which wefts and warps are interlaced because the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of both layers 3 and 4 intersect each other at right angles and has a blank portion 11 in the gap between the fibrous patterns 31 and 42. It becomes. In this way, by changing the display pattern of the fibrous patterns 31 and 41 of the both layers 3 and 4, a label that can give an impression of a product image different from the Japanese paper tone can be easily produced. Also in the fabric-like label 1, printing is performed by changing the thickness (width) of the plurality of fibrous patterns 31, 41 as in the above embodiment, or the fibrous patterns 31, 4 of both layers 3, 4 are printed. By reducing the printing density of the peripheral portion 41 or reducing the printing density of the fibrous pattern 41 of the back pattern printing layer 4, it is possible to produce a texture that feels more like a natural fiber yarn.
Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the heat-shrinkable cylindrical label 1 is illustrated as a label, the label of this invention is not restricted to a heat-shrinkable cylindrical label aspect, For example, each layer 2, 3, ... Is formed in a substantially rectangular shape or substantially elliptical shape in plan view, and a tack label in which an adhesive is applied to the back surface, a heat-sensitive adhesive label in which a heat-sensitive adhesive is applied to the back surface, etc. Such a sheet-like label may be used, or a self-stretchable film having elasticity may be used, and this may be configured as a self-stretchable cylindrical label (stretch label) formed into a tubular shape.
