Description

The present invention relates to a desk suitably used in an office or the like.

Conventionally, other fixtures such as a wagon having a drawer are arranged in the lower limb space under the top plate of the desk and used together with the desk (for example, refer to the following patent document).
JP 2003-219912 A

Naturally, if a wagon or other furniture is placed in the lower limb space, the lower limb space is occupied accordingly. On the other hand, the lower limb space is also a space area in which the user's lower limbs who sit down and work are accommodated, and it is better to have as much space as possible so as not to deteriorate usability.

An object of the present invention made in view of the above is to reduce as much as possible a dead space that is lost by a fixture such as a wagon.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides a desk having a top plate supported by a leg including a base and a leg side plate standing up from the base, and the inner side surface of the leg side plate is connected to the inner side of the base. Positioned outward from the end (more preferably, outward from the center of the width dimension of the base), and an upper surface of a portion of the base that is inward from the leg side plate is provided with a predetermined caster. It was set below the lower end of a fixture (typically a wagon).

In such a case, since the lower end of the fixture is positioned higher than the upper surface of the base, the side end of the fixture is overlapped above the base so that the fixture is close to the inner surface of the leg side plate. Can be touched. That is, the fixture can be moved further outward than the conventional desk, and the dead space by the fixture can be reduced. Therefore, the problem that the furniture placed in the lower limb space wastes the lower limb space is solved. Furthermore, since it is not necessary to reduce the width dimension of the base, the structural stability of the desk is not impaired, and attachment to the base such as an adjuster is not hindered.

If the leg side plate is made thin and its outer surface is made to substantially coincide with the outer end of the base or positioned more inward than the outer end of the base, it is possible to avoid an increase in the outer dimension of the desk.

If a bent portion that is bent laterally from the rear end of the leg side plate is formed, the rigidity of the leg side plate can be secured even when the leg side plate is thinned. However, here, the use end side on which the user who uses the desk is seated is defined as the front, and the counter use end side is defined as the rear.

If a caster mounting portion is provided at a position higher than the upper surface of the base at the rear end portion of the leg, and if the caster is mounted on the lower surface of the caster mounting portion, it is assumed that the caster is not mounted on the lower surface of the base. The upper surface can be set at a low position.

In addition, if the caster mounting portion is a separate body that is independent of the base, it is possible to avoid complication of the base member shape.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the dead space which a fixture, such as a wagon arrange | positioned in leg space, is wasted can be reduced.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, the desk D of the present embodiment includes a leg 1 disposed on both the left and right sides and a top plate 2 supported by the legs 1 as main components.

The left and right legs 1 are in principle symmetrical. The leg 1 includes a base 11, a leg side plate 12 that rises substantially perpendicularly from the base 11, and a stay 13 attached to the upper end of the leg side plate 12. The base 11 is an upper and lower thin member formed such that its upper surface is positioned below a lower end Wa of a wagon W or the like as a predetermined fixture, and has a substantially rectangular outer shape extending in front and rear in a plan view. The lower end Wa of a fixture such as a wagon W to which the caster W1 is mounted is usually supported at a position that is about 45 mm above the floor surface. Therefore, it is desirable that the upper surface 11a of the base 11 is set at a position separated by about 30 mm from the floor surface or at a lower position. The upper surface of the front end portion of the base 11 is an inclined surface. An adjuster 111 is mounted on the lower surface of the base 11. The caster 15 is not attached to the base 11.

The leg side plate 12 is a member having a substantially L-shaped outer shape in a plan view provided with a bent portion 121 bent inward at the rear end of a plate-like body that is thinner than the base 11, and is manufactured as an extruded product, for example. Is done. The corner of the rear end portion of the leg side plate 12 has an R shape. The lower end of the leg side plate 12 is joined to the upper surface 11a of the base 11, the inner side surface 12a of the leg side plate 12 is located outward from the center of the width dimension of the base 11, and the outer side surface 12b of the leg side plate 12 is the base. 11 substantially coincides with the outer end 11c of the base 11, or is located inward of the outer end 11c of the base 11. The rear end of the leg side plate 12 substantially coincides with the rear end of the base 11.

The stay 13 is joined to the lower surface of the top plate 2 to support the top plate 2 from below. The stay 13 is a hollow square pipe material extending in the front-rear direction, and at least a front end thereof is closed with a lid. The stay 13 is attached to the inner side surface 12 a of the leg side plate 12 via the bracket 4.

The bracket 4 is formed by bending a sheet metal material, and as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, a substantially horizontal joint portion 41, and a drooping portion 42 that bends and hangs from the inner end of the joint portion 41, And a support portion 43 that protrudes inward from the hanging portion 42. More specifically, the joint portion 41 has a planar view shape that substantially covers the upper surface of the leg side plate 12. In the illustrated example, the rear portion of a thin plate having a width dimension substantially equal to that of the leg side plate 12 and longer than the leg side plate 12 is extended inward. Further, a drooping portion 42 is formed in front of the portion extending inward and extending substantially vertically downward. The hanging part 42 has a vertical dimension substantially the same as that of the stay 13, and is continuous with a support part 43 that is bent at the lower end and extends inward. The support portion 43 has a width dimension substantially the same as that of the stay 13 and takes a substantially horizontal posture. On the inner edge of the support portion 43, a ridge 44 protruding substantially vertically upward is provided.

When attaching the stay 13 to the leg side plate 12, as shown in FIG. 7, the joint portion 41 of the bracket 4 is joined to the upper surface of the leg side plate 12 by fastening with a bolt 51 or the like. At this time, the outer surface of the hanging portion 42 of the bracket 4 abuts on the inner surface 12 a of the leg side plate 12. In addition, the stay 13 is mounted on the support portion 43 of the bracket 4 and welded together. As a result, the stay 13 is attached so as to follow the inner side surface 12 a of the leg side plate 12. The upper surface of the stay 13 attached to the leg side plate 12 and the upper surface of the joint portion 41 of the bracket 4 are at substantially the same height, and both serve as support surfaces for supporting the top plate 2.

Then, if the top plate 2 is placed on the stay 13 and the bracket 4 and fixed using the bolts 52 and 53, the basic configuration of the desk D of this embodiment is completed. The rear end of the top plate 2 overhangs behind the rear end of the leg side plate 12. A recess 21 is cut out at the rear edge at the central portion in the width direction of the top plate 2 so that cords such as a power feeding cord and a communication cable can be inserted. Incidentally, a projecting piece 45 that protrudes substantially vertically downward is provided at the rear end of the joint portion 41 of the bracket 4. In the present embodiment, the rear surface of the projecting piece 45 and the rear end surface of the top plate 2 are substantially flush. The projecting piece 45 functions when the rear ends of the same type of desk D are arranged to face each other.

Further, a caster 15 is attached to the rear end of the leg 1. In the present embodiment, the caster mounting portion 14 is provided on the rear surface of the bent portion 121 of the leg side plate 12, and the caster 15 is mounted on the lower surface of the caster mounting portion 14. The caster mounting portion 14 is a member independent of the base 11 and is located higher than the upper surface 11 a of the base 11. The caster mounting portion 14 extends rearward, but the rear end thereof is in front of the rear end of the top plate 2. In the illustrated example, a total of two casters 15 are attached to the rear end portions of the left and right legs 1, and the casters 15 are not attached to the front end portions of the legs 1. The desk D is moved by lifting the front end side of the desk D.

In addition, a curtain board 3 that shields the lower limb space under the top board 2 is stretched between the rear ends of the legs 1. Specifically, the left and right ends of the curtain plate 3 are connected to the inner ends of the bent portions 121 of the corresponding leg side plates 12 respectively. The rear surface of the curtain plate 3 is substantially flush with the rear end surface of the leg side plate 12, that is, the rear surface of the bent portion 121.

When the wagon W is to be arranged in the lower limb space of the desk D of the present embodiment, the lower end Wa, in other words, the lower end Wa of the casing that is supported by the caster W1 and accommodates the drawer is higher than the upper surface 11a of the base 11. 2, 3, and 5, the side end portion of the wagon W is overlapped above the base 11 so that the wagon W is brought close to or against the inner side surface 12 a of the leg side plate 12. It is possible to contact. That is, the wagon W can be moved outward beyond the inner end of the base 11, and the dead space by the wagon W can be minimized.

According to this embodiment, in the desk D in which the top plate 2 is supported by the leg 1 including the base 11 and the leg side plate 12 rising from the base 11, the inner side surface 12a of the leg side plate 12 is attached to the base side. 11 is positioned outward from the inner end 11b of the base 11, and the upper surface 11a of the portion of the base 11 that is inward from the leg side plate 12 is lower than the lower end Wa of the predetermined fixture W to which the casters W1 are attached. Therefore, the dead space by the fixture W can be reduced. Therefore, the problem that the furniture W arranged in the lower limb space wastes the lower limb space is solved. Furthermore, it is not necessary to reduce the width of the base 11, the structural stability of the desk D is not impaired, and the attachment of the adjuster 111 to the base 11 is not hindered.

The leg side plate 12 is thin, and its outer surface is substantially coincident with the outer end 11c of the base 11 or positioned inward of the outer end 11c of the base 11, and has an outer dimension of the desk D. The enlargement is avoided.

Since the bent portion 121 that is bent laterally from the rear end of the leg side plate 12 is formed, the rigidity of the thin leg side plate 12 is ensured.

A caster mounting portion 14 is provided at a position higher than the upper surface 11 a of the base 11 at the rear end portion of the leg 1. A caster 15 is mounted on the lower surface of the caster mounting portion 14, and the caster 15 is mounted on the lower surface of the base 11. Therefore, the upper surface 11a of the base 11 can be set to a low position without difficulty.

In addition, since the caster mounting portion 14 is a separate body that is independent of the base 11, the member shape of the base 11 is not complicated.

Further, a stay 13 that is joined to the lower surface of the top plate 2 and supports the top plate 2 is provided along the side surface of the leg side plate 12, so that the stay 13 does not need to be placed directly on the leg side plate 12, or The stay 13 does not need to be fixed to the front surface of the leg side plate 12, and the leg side plate 12 can be easily reduced in thickness.

A joining portion 41 joined to the upper surface of the leg side plate 12; a hanging portion 42 depending from the joining portion 41 and contacting the side surface of the leg side plate 12; Since the stay 13 is attached to the leg side plate 12 via the bracket 4 having the support portion 43 to be supported, the attachment structure of the bracket 4 becomes stable.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiment described in detail above. In particular, the above-described legs 1 are not necessarily arranged on the left and right sides of the desk D. It does not interfere with the aspect in which the leg 1 is provided only on one side as in a so-called sleeve desk. Of course, if the legs 1 are arranged on both the left and right sides, there is an advantage that the wagon W or the like can be arranged on the left side or the right side.

The furniture used with the desk D is not limited to the wagon W. For example, a shelf S with casters S1 as shown in FIG. 8 may be attached to the desk D. At this time, the upper surface 11a of the base 11 of the leg 1 is set at a lower position than the lower end Sa of the shelf S main body (or side plate) that supports the shelf board.

In the above embodiment, the stay 13 is attached to the inner side surface of the leg side plate 12, but the stay 13 may be attached to the upper surface of the leg side plate 12. Alternatively, it may be considered that the top plate 2 is supported only by the leg side plate 12 without the stay 13.

Other specific configurations of the respective parts are not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
