この発明は、自動車等から放射される騒音と回折音とを干渉させて、前記騒音を減音する防音壁の技術分野に属する。

(1)騒音と回折音とを干渉させて、前記騒音を減音する防音壁の代表例として、例えば特許第2865275号公報に記載された防音壁が挙げられる。
この防音壁は、防音壁の上端に騒音源側及び民地側の双方へ傾斜する分岐壁が設けられ、更に前記分岐壁の上端に騒音源側及び民地側へ傾斜する分岐壁も設けられて構成されている。自動車等から放射された騒音は分岐壁に沿って回折させ、そのエネルギーを減少させて減音すると共に、この回折音と騒音とを干渉させて減音する。

上記(1)の防音壁は、分岐壁が民地側へ張り出した構成とされているため、取り付け箇所によっては建築境界を越えてしまう不具合があるほか、景観性も悪い。

また、防音壁には直線部以外の伸縮部分、拡幅部分、標識部分等の特殊部分が多くあり、上記従来の防音壁は分岐壁等と常に一体に構成されているため、前記特殊部分へ設置するには構成が複雑に過ぎて製造及び組立てが面倒であり、コストが嵩む欠点が認められる。

従って、本発明の目的は、製造及び組立てないし既存防音壁への取付けが簡単な構成として、コストの削減を図ると共に、民地側には決して張り出さない構成の防音壁を提供することである。
