Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention mainly applies to a small circuit breaker (auto breaker) for terminal load protection and its attached device, which is installed and used on a distribution board, a control panel, etc. The terminal cover is covered.
[0002]
[Prior art]
First, FIG. 4 shows an external view of a two-pole circuit breaker (auto breaker) that is an object of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is a circuit breaker, 2 is a breaker case as a resin molded product, 3 is a toggle handle for opening and closing operation, 4 is a terminal portion on the power supply side and load side constructed at both front and rear ends of the breaker case 2 4.
[0003]
Here, in consideration of workability and safety when the circuit breaker 1 is incorporated in the distribution board and wired as described later, the terminal section 4 has terminal blocks 5a for the respective phases arranged on the left and right sides. 5b is formed in a stepped manner with a stepped h, and terminal blocks 9 and terminal screws 10 of the respective phases drawn out from the circuit breaker body are arranged on the terminal blocks 5a and 5b. Further, a phase interval wall 6 extending upward from the terminal block and left and right partition walls 7 and 8 are integrally formed in the terminal portion 4 so as to isolate the terminal blocks 5a and 5b of each phase.
[0004]
Next, FIG. 5 shows a distribution board in which a large number of the circuit breakers 1 described above are incorporated and wired in a single-phase three-wire system. As shown in the drawing, in the panel of the distribution board 11, for example, a plurality of circuit breakers 1 are arrayed and supported on the support rails in the panel so that the circuit breakers 1 are arranged in close contact with each other in almost two columns. Each circuit breaker 1 is connected in parallel via a branch connection conductor to a main circuit connection conductor (busbar) 13 drawn from the main circuit breaker 12 and laid in the panel. In addition, 11a is a door of the distribution board 11, and 11a-1 is a window hole opened so that the handle of the circuit breaker 1 protrudes outside the board with the door 11a closed.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, the small circuit breaker (auto breaker) 1 incorporated and used in the distribution board 11 or the like is such that each phase terminal in the terminal portion 4 is isolated by the partition walls 6, 7, and 8, and the circuit breaker is provided. The distribution board 11 equipped with a device may be provided with a door 11a, and the conventional circuit breaker 1 does not have a terminal cover for protecting the charging part in the terminal part 4 in particular. In order to increase the safety of work during inspections, there is a demand to attach a terminal cover to the circuit breaker.
[0006]
On the other hand, a terminal cover is available as an optional product for circuit breakers and earth leakage circuit breakers for three-phase wiring that have a larger capacity than the auto breaker. The structure of the terminal cover is that of the breaker body. The terminal portion is covered from the outside and fixed to the upper surface of the case with screws.
By the way, assuming that a terminal cover having the same shape as the terminal cover used for the wiring circuit breaker is prepared for the circuit breaker 1 of FIG. However, the thickness of the terminal cover protrudes from the left and right side surfaces of the circuit breaker case 2 and the outer dimensions of the circuit breaker are increased by one. For this reason, when a large number of circuit breakers 1 are arranged in close contact with each other as shown in FIG. As a result, the total occupied space of the circuit breakers arranged in the board increases.
[0007]
In addition, since there is almost no gap between the existing circuit breaker 1 installed in the panel and the adjacent breaker, the terminal cover is added later and attached unless the breaker is rearranged. I can't let you.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to provide a circuit breaker case for a circuit breaker provided with a terminal portion having a stepped structure mainly used by being incorporated in a distribution board, a control panel or the like. An object of the present invention is to provide an improved circuit breaker terminal cover that can be attached to the terminal portion within the width dimension of the circuit breaker.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, the terminal cover has a box-like structure in which inspection holes corresponding to the terminals of each phase are opened on the upper surface thereof, and the phase interval wall with respect to the terminal portion of the circuit breaker. The left and right side walls of the terminal cover straddle the upper edge of the left and right bulkheads on the terminal portion side along the inner wall surfaces of the terminal cover and are attached to the inside thereof (Claim 1). It shall consist of
[0009]
(1) A snap-type engagement claw is formed on the side wall of the terminal cover, and the engagement claw is formed in the engagement hole formed in the partition wall on the terminal portion side with the terminal cover being attached to the terminal portion of the circuit breaker. It latches (Claim 2).
(2) A groove portion is formed on the terminal cover so as to straddle the upper edge of the phase interval wall on the terminal portion side, and an engagement protrusion that engages with a recess formed on the upper edge of the phase interval wall is formed inside the groove portion. With the terminal cover attached to the terminal portion of the circuit breaker, the engaging protrusion is fitted into the recess of the phase interval wall so as to be positioned and held at a fixed position.
[0010]
(3) A concave seat in which a screw seat projecting in the shape of a tongue is provided on the upper rear edge of the terminal cover, and the screw seat is formed on the upper surface of the circuit breaker case with the terminal cover attached to the terminal portion of the circuit breaker. The screw is overlaid on the surface and fastened (Claim 4).
According to the terminal cover having the above structure, it fits within the width dimension of the circuit breaker case while being attached to the terminal portion of the circuit breaker, and does not protrude from the left and right side surfaces and the upper surface of the circuit breaker case. Therefore, even when a large number of circuit breakers are arranged and assembled in a panel such as a distribution board as shown in FIG. 5, they can be mounted efficiently without causing a loss of mounting dimensions.
[0011]
Also, the terminal cover can be attached later to the existing circuit breaker incorporated in the panel as necessary.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the examples shown in FIGS. In the drawing of the embodiment, the same reference numerals are given to the portions corresponding to FIG. 4, and the detailed description thereof will be omitted.
FIG. 1A shows an assembled state in which the terminal cover 14 of the present invention is attached to the terminal portion 4 of the circuit breaker 1 having the terminal portion of the stepped structure shown in FIG. And the left and right side walls of the terminal cover 14 are inserted into the inner side of the left and right bulkheads 7 and 8 on the terminal part side so as to straddle the upper edge of the phase interval wall 6 in the terminal part 4. The terminal portion 4 is covered from above and is screwed to the upper surface of the circuit breaker case 2 via screws 15 at this position.
[0013]
Next, the detailed structure of the terminal cover 14 and the cover mounting structure of the terminal portion 4 corresponding to the terminal cover 14 will be described with reference to FIG. In other words, the terminal cover 14 having a box-shaped structure has a lateral width d in the left-right direction that matches the distance D between the left side wall 7 and the right side wall 8 of the terminal part 4, and each phase terminal of the terminal part 4 on the upper surface The inspection hole 14a (a driver for operating the terminal screw 10 and a voltage detection rod is inserted) is opened. Further, on the left side wall of the terminal cover 14, a snap-type engagement claw 14b protruding outward is formed at the tip of a spring arm 14b-1 formed by inserting left and right slits in the side wall. A rectangular engagement hole 7a is opened in the left partition 7 of the terminal portion 4 in alignment with the joint claw 14a. Further, a groove portion 14c is formed in the left and right middle portion of the terminal cover 14 so as to straddle the upper edge of the phase interval wall 6 of the terminal portion 4, and inside the groove portion 14c, as shown in FIG. A rectangular engagement protrusion 14c-1 protruding downward is formed, and a recess 6a is formed on the upper edge of the phase interval wall 6 corresponding to the engagement protrusion 14c-1. In addition, a tongue-like screw seat 14d protruding in an L shape toward the back is integrally formed on the upper rear edge of the terminal cover 14, and the upper surface of the circuit breaker case 2 is aligned with the screw seat 14d. Are formed with a recessed recess 2a and a screw hole 2a-1.
[0014]
In order to attach the terminal cover 14 to the terminal portion 4 of the circuit breaker 1 with the above configuration, the terminal cover 14 is placed between the left and right side walls 7 and 8 of the terminal portion 4 from above as shown in FIG. Insert and push. As a result, the groove 14c of the terminal cover 14 overlaps the upper edge of the phase interval wall 6 of the terminal portion 4 so that the engagement protrusion 14c-1 and the recess 6a are fitted, and the engagement claw 14b formed on the left side wall 7 enters the engaging hole 7a opened to 7 and is locked in a snap manner. Further, at this attachment position, the screw seat 14d protruding rearward from the upper portion of the terminal cover is accommodated and overlapped with a concave seat surface 2a formed on the upper surface of the circuit breaker case 2. The terminal cover 14 is firmly fixed at the attachment position by screwing between the screw seat 14d and the seat surface 2a with a fastening screw (flat head screw) 15.
[0015]
In addition, when the terminal cover 14 is attached to the terminal portion 4 of the circuit breaker 1, the terminal cover 14 including the fastening screw 15 includes the left and right side surfaces and the upper surface of the breaker case 2 as can be seen from FIG. It doesn't stick out. Therefore, even when a large number of circuit breakers 1 are arranged and incorporated in the distribution board 11 as shown in FIG. 5, the circuit breakers can be assembled in a space-efficient manner without causing a loss of mounting dimensions. Further, when the door 11a is closed, the door surface does not hit the screw washers 14d and the fastening screws 15 of the terminal cover 14, and the terminal cover 14 is fastened with the screws 14 so that the terminal cover 14 can be used without tools. Since it cannot be removed, high security can be secured.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the terminal cover that is attached to the terminal portion of the stepped structure in which the terminals of each phase of the circuit breaker are separated by the partition wall is provided on the upper surface of the terminal cover. A box-type structure with corresponding inspection holes opened, and the left and right side walls of the terminal cover straddling the upper edge of the phase interval wall are fitted and attached to the inside along the inner wall surfaces of the left and right bulkheads on the terminal side. As a result, it fits within the width dimension of the circuit breaker case in a state of being attached to the terminal portion of the circuit breaker, and does not protrude from the left and right side surfaces and the upper surface of the circuit breaker case.
[0017]
Therefore, even when a large number of circuit breakers are arranged and assembled in a panel such as a distribution board or control panel, they can be mounted efficiently and without any loss of mounting dimensions. Even for an existing circuit breaker, a terminal cover having a high practical value can be provided, for example, a terminal cover can be attached later if necessary.
