Description
The present invention provides a capsule that generates a document in which a content information file, a program code file that causes a computer to execute predetermined processing on the content information file, and a structure file that defines the document structure are encapsulated as a single document. document generation program, the encapsulated document generation method relates及 beauty the encapsulated document generation apparatus.
E-mail is widely used as a tool for communication with remote places because of its convenience. E-mail is a typical asynchronous communication tool, where the sender and receiver do not exchange information at the same time, and the sender and receiver of information can send and receive information at their convenience. Is to do. On the other hand, a representative type of synchronous communication is a telephone. Communication is not established until the caller and the callee exchange voice information at the same time. As described above, when communicating with a remote place, there are two types, that is, asynchronous communication such as e-mail and synchronous communication such as a telephone.
Further, in the electronic mail mentioned as an example of the synchronous communication described above, basically, text information is exchanged. On the other hand, in order to make information richer, mailers that can send and receive in HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) format have become widespread, and multimedia transmission using e-mail technology is also becoming popular. Some techniques have also appeared (see Patent Documents 1 to 10).
The advantage of asynchronous communication is that the recipient does not have to interrupt the work. Unlike the synchronous communication such as telephone, the recipient can easily concentrate on the work because it is only necessary to check whether the information is received at his convenience. The information sender can also send information without worrying about the other party's situation. However, since it is confirmed when the receiver is convenient, the sender does not know when the receiver has acquired the information. Therefore, asynchronous communication is not suitable when there is an urgent matter. In addition, if it is just a notification, it is easy to communicate because there is little information to be exchanged with each other. However, when discussing on some agenda, the information must be sent and received many times, and the discussion proceeds. There are difficult aspects. For this reason, there is a problem that it is difficult to perform complicated communication.
On the other hand, contrary to asynchronous communication, synchronous communication is easy to carry out complicated communication, and it is easy to handle urgent matters. On the other hand, communication is often started in a way that interrupts the situation of the other party, and in order to start communication, it is often necessary to care about the situation of the other party.
In this way, there is a conflict between the advantages and problems of asynchronous communication means and synchronous communication means. If they are not used properly, the other party feels uncomfortable or falls into a state of lack of communication. There is a high possibility that Therefore, communication can be made smoother if the advantages of both can be combined well.
An object of the present invention is to realize a new remote communication that combines asynchronous communication and synchronous communication.

First, a general personal computer will be described.
コンピュータ1は、情報処理を行うCPU(Central Processing Unit)2と、BIOS(Basic Input Output System)等を格納するROM(Read Only Memory)3と、情報を処理中に一時的に格納するRAM(Random Access Memory)4等の一次記憶装置と、処理結果等を保存するHDD(Hard Disk Drive)5等の二次記憶装置と、情報を外部に保管又は配布し若しくは情報(カプセル化文書21)を外部から入手するための記憶媒体であるリムーバブルメディア6のドライブ6aと、外部の他のコンピュータ1′,…
FIG. 1 is a hardware configuration diagram of a general or standard personal computer to which this embodiment is also applied. The computer 1 includes a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 2 that performs information processing, a ROM (Read Only Memory) 3 that stores a BIOS (Basic Input Output System), and a RAM (Random) that temporarily stores information during processing. (Access Memory) 4 and other primary storage devices, HDD (Hard Disk Drive) 5 and other storage devices that store processing results, etc., information is stored or distributed outside, or information (encapsulated document 21) is external A drive 6a of a removable medium 6 which is a storage medium to be obtained from the network, a network interface 8 for connecting to a
The removable medium 6 includes a magnetic storage medium such as a flexible disk, a hard disk, and a magnetic tape, a magneto-optical storage medium such as an MO, a CD, a CD-ROM, a CD-R, a CD-RW, Various storage media such as optical storage media such as DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW, DVD + RW, and semiconductor memory can be applied.
In data transmission, data is sent to the network interface 8 of the computer 1, so that the network interface 8 outputs a signal to the
代表的なオペレーティングシステムはWindows(登録商標)、UNIX(登録商標)等である。
In general, when the user turns on the power of the computer 1, the CPU 2 starts a program called a loader included in the BIOS in the
Next, a case where the OS starts a program held in a storage medium such as a secondary storage device according to a user instruction will be described with reference to FIG. When the user instructs the OS to start a specific program, the OS reads the program code from the storage medium using the hardware of the storage device, and loads the code into the
Many current OSs generally have a multitasking function capable of running a plurality of such processes or tasks simultaneously. In addition, today's OS operates by allocating memory independently for each process in order to run such a plurality of processes simultaneously.
In addition, a virtual file called a metafile is formed on a memory for interprocess communication for exchanging data between such processes, and information is transmitted and received through file access.
Next, an outline of the data structure (encapsulated document structure) of the document already proposed by the applicant will be described with reference to FIG. In this embodiment, this encapsulated
Here, activation of each functional module of the encapsulated
A step of starting and displaying such an encapsulated
FIG. 6 is a block diagram showing the state of such steps. First, when the user instructs activation of a document, the OS expands and activates the program code 23A of the activation function module in the encapsulated

The
FIG. 9 is a functional block diagram illustrating functions that the encapsulated
First, the operation up to mail transmission by the encapsulated
In the above processing, the
Next, an operation for transmitting the encapsulated
In the above processing, the
Next, an operation of selecting the
In the above processing, the
Next, if only the
FIG. 19 is a flowchart showing a procedure for generating an encapsulated
As illustrated in FIG. 20, the encapsulated
Next, the
In this process, as illustrated in FIG. 22, the encapsulated
As another embodiment, processing corresponding to the case where the
FIG. 23 is a flowchart showing a procedure for generating the encapsulated
As illustrated in FIG. 24, the above processing is performed in the computer 1 on the receiving side by a structured document analysis function (means), a resource acquisition function (means), a mail creation function (means), and a mail transmission function (means). It is realized by executing. In order for the receiving computer 1 to execute such a function, a computer program for executing such processing, that is, an encapsulated document generation program is installed in the receiving computer 1 in advance, or the capsule computer 1 Such an encapsulated document generation program may be transmitted from the transmission-side computer 1 that activates the
In the former case, the encapsulated document generation program for generating the encapsulated
The computer 1 in which such an encapsulated document generation program is installed is interpreted and executed by the
Further, the encapsulated document generation apparatus generated in this way is displayed on the
In the latter case, the
Next, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 25, the encapsulated
As shown in FIG. 26, the basic processing flow in this case is to create an operation information file after acquiring an event (step S301) in the encapsulated
In order to realize such processing, as shown in FIG. 27, in both the transmitting and receiving computers 1, an event acquisition function (means), an operation information file generation function (means), and an operation information file analysis function (means) It is necessary to execute a mail creation function (means), a mail transmission function (means), a mail reception function (means), and an information reflection function (means). Such functions of the computers 1 are provided to the computers 1 by way of example by the encapsulated
In order to execute the above processing in the sending computer 1, the
Further, in order to execute the above processing on the receiving computer 1, the
The
However, since it is not very realistic to exchange the document state by e-mail, in addition to the data structure of the encapsulated
The operation when the encapsulated
Here, the
The method of transmitting the encapsulated
Next, operations up to establishment of communication between the transmission side and the reception side will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIG. 31, the transmission side starts the encapsulated document 21 (step S451), and uses the method described above to send the encapsulated
Here, in the encapsulated
Further, as described above, the encapsulated
In order to execute the above processing, the
