Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a chuck for holding a container lid in a lid fastening device for screwing a synthetic resin container lid onto a mouth and neck portion of the container.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As is well known, a container having a male thread formed on the outer peripheral surface of the mouth-and-neck part is used as a container for beverages or the like, and the mouth-neck part of the container is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the skirt wall. Is closed by screwing a synthetic resin container lid on which is formed.
[0003]
A typical example of a lid clamping device for screwing a synthetic resin container lid on the mouth and neck of the container is a lid clamping device disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 5-28237. Such a lid-clamping device includes a rotary head provided with a chuck for holding a container lid. The container lid is screwed onto the mouth and neck of the container by holding the container lid on the chuck, fitting the container lid on the mouth and neck of the container, and rotating the rotary head in the required direction. The chuck includes a chuck body having an inner peripheral surface defining a substantially cylindrical lid housing space with an open bottom surface, a plurality of pressing members mounted on the chuck body at intervals in the circumferential direction, and a pressing member elasticity. Biasing means. The pressing member is mounted on the chuck body so as to be able to retreat outward from the innermost position partially protruding into the lid housing space beyond the inner peripheral surface of the chuck body, and the pressing member elastic biasing means attaches the pressing member to the outermost position. Elastically biased to the inner position. An inner end portion of the pressing member that protrudes into the lid housing space is substantially hemispherical. When the container lid is inserted into the lid housing space of the chuck body from below, the plurality of pressing members are elastically engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the skirt wall of the container lid, whereby the container lid is placed in the lid housing space. Is retained.
[0004]
Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 2-52793 discloses that a pressing member in a chuck of a lid fastening device is formed from a sphere.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the chuck of the lid tightening device having the above-described form, the container lid can enter the lid housing space sufficiently smoothly and the container lid that has entered the lid housing space is dropped or displaced. It is important that it is held in the required position sufficiently reliably without any problems. However, such a requirement cannot be satisfied sufficiently with the conventional chuck, and in particular, the container lid that has entered the lid housing space may accidentally fall off.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned facts, and its main technical problem is to improve the chuck in the lid tightening device so that the container lid can enter the lid housing space sufficiently smoothly and cover the lid. The container lid that has entered the space is to be surely held in the required position.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of diligent research, the inventors have made the pressing member to be composed of a sphere having a rough surface with a centerline average roughness Ra of 0.50 to 0.90 μm, which is mounted rotatably in an arbitrary direction . It has been found that the above technical problem can be achieved.
[0008]
That is, according to the present invention, as a chuck of a lid fastening device that achieves the above technical problem, a chuck main body having an inner peripheral surface that defines a substantially cylindrical lid housing space whose lower surface is opened, and a circumferentially spaced gap are provided. And a plurality of pressing members mounted on the chuck body and pressing member elastic biasing means, the pressing members partially projecting into the lid housing space beyond the inner peripheral surface of the chuck body. The chuck body is mounted on the chuck body so as to be retractable radially outward from the innermost position, and the pressing member elastic biasing means is a chuck of a lid clamping device that elastically biases the pressing member to the innermost position.
There is provided a chuck characterized in that the pressing member is mounted rotatably in an arbitrary direction, and the surface is composed of a sphere having a rough surface with a center line average roughness Ra of 0.50 to 0.90 μm. The
[0009]
The center line average roughness Ra of the rough surface is 0 . The thickness is preferably 60 to 0.70 μm. When the roughness of the rough surface is too small, the container lid that has entered the lid housing space is not sufficiently held, and the container lid tends to drop out of the lid housing space. If the roughness of the rough surface becomes excessive, there is a tendency that the container lid does not smoothly enter the lid housing space . Push member may be conveniently formed by allowed to the surface of the steel ball on the rough surface by the sandpaper. In a preferred example, a regulating member having a flat lower surface mounted so as to be freely raised from a lowest position positioned above the lid housing space, and a regulating member elastic bias that elastically biases the regulating member to the lowest position. When the container lid is accommodated in the lid housing space in a normal state, a gap of 0.1 to 0.2 mm exists between the upper surface of the container lid and the lower surface of the regulating member. To do.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of a chuck constructed according to the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0011]
Referring to FIG. 1, the chuck denoted as a whole by numeral 2 includes a substantially cylindrical connecting member 4. For example, a rotary lid fastening device that may be in the form disclosed in the above Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 5-28237 has a plurality of rotating shafts (not shown) arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. The connecting member 4 is attached to each of the rotation shafts via an appropriate torque limiting mechanism (not shown).
[0012]
A chuck body 6 is fixed to the lower end portion of the connecting member 4. The chuck body 6 has a main portion 8 having a relatively thick and substantially cylindrical shape. An annular shoulder portion 10 is formed on the upper surface of the main portion 8, and further upward from the inner peripheral portion of the upper surface of the shoulder portion 10. A projecting portion 12 having a relatively thin cylindrical shape projecting in the shape is formed. A male thread is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the protrusion 12. On the other hand, a female thread is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the lower end portion of the connecting member 4, and the lower end of the connecting member 4 is formed by screwing the male thread formed on the protruding portion 10 to the female thread. The chuck body 6 is fixed to the portion. The lower end of the connecting member 4 is brought into contact with the upper surface of the shoulder portion 10 of the chuck body 6, whereby the vertical position of the chuck body 6 with respect to the connecting member 4 is regulated sufficiently accurately.
[0013]
The inner peripheral surface of the main portion 8 in the chuck body 6 defines a lid housing space 14 whose lower surface is open. 1 and FIG. 2, the description will be continued with reference to FIG. 2. The lower end portion 16 of the inner peripheral surface of the main portion 8 defining the lid housing space 14 may be, for example, about 45 degrees radially inward. The inner peripheral surface main portion 18 following the lower end is inclined at a slight inclination angle β that may be, for example, about 4 degrees radially inwardly. ing. A large number of protrusions 20 are formed on the inner peripheral surface main portion 18 at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction (see also FIG. 4). When the description is continued with reference to FIG. 3 together with FIG. 2, an annular groove 22 is formed on the lower outer peripheral surface of the main portion 8 in the chuck body 6. The cross-sectional shape of the annular groove 22 is substantially rectangular, and its depth, that is, the radial dimension, is set to be somewhat larger than half the thickness of the main portion 8. Further, a plurality of through-holes 24 in the illustrated embodiment are formed in the main portion 8 of the chuck body 6 at intervals in the circumferential direction. As clearly understood from FIG. 2, each of the through holes 24 extends in a radial direction substantially horizontally across the annular groove 22. The cross-sectional shape of each of the through holes 24 is circular, and the main portions of each of the through holes 24 have substantially the same inner diameter. However, the inner diameter of the radially inner end is gradually decreased toward the inner side in the radial direction. It has a truncated cone shape. A spherical pressing member 26 is disposed in each of the through holes 24. The outer diameter of the pressing member 26 is substantially the same as or slightly smaller than the inner diameter of each main portion of the through hole 24. Accordingly, each of the pressing members 26 is partially covered with the lid from the innermost position shown in FIG. 2, that is, a part thereof from the radially inner end of the through-hole 24 (and thus beyond the inner peripheral surface of the main portion 8). It arrange | positions in the through-hole 24 so that it can retract in the radial direction outward from the innermost position which protrudes in the space 14, and it can rotate to arbitrary directions. The annular groove 22 accommodates a pressing member elastic biasing means 28 that can be formed from a synthetic rubber ring. The pressing member elastic biasing means 28 acts on each of the pressing members 26 arranged in the through hole 24 to elastically bias each of the pressing members 26 inward in the radial direction, and therefore in the innermost position.
[0014]
As will be described in detail later, a synthetic resin container lid 30 is caused to enter the lid housing space 14 of the chuck body 6 through the opened lower surface, and each of the pressing members 26 is located radially inside the through hole 24. A part protruding from the end into the lid housing space 14 is elastically engaged with the container lid 30 (more specifically, the outer peripheral surface of the skirt wall), and thereby the container lid 30 is dropped from the lid housing space 14. Is prevented. The spherically shaped pressing member 26 that can freely rotate in any direction has a surface elastically engaged with the container lid 30 having a centerline average roughness Ra defined by JIS B 0601 of 0.50 to 0.90 μm. It is important to have a roughness of preferably 0.60 to 0.70 μm. When the surface roughness is excessively small, the container lid 30 that has entered the lid housing space 14 is not sufficiently held, and the container lid 30 tends to drop out of the lid housing space 14. On the other hand, if the surface roughness is excessive, the resistance of the pressing member 26 against the entry of the container lid 30 into the lid housing space 14 becomes excessive, and it is difficult to smoothly enter the container lid 30 into the lid housing space 14. Tend to be . Or the pressing member 26 as can be conveniently constructed by the allowed to the rough surface caused to act sandpaper on the surface for ball bearing steel ball.
[0015]
If it demonstrates with reference to FIG. 1, the substantially cylindrical holding member 32 will also be fixed to the connection member 4 mentioned above. An annular flange 34 projecting radially inward is formed at the lower end of the inner peripheral surface of the holding member 32, and an annular flange 36 projecting radially outward is formed at the lower end of the outer peripheral surface. On the other hand, an annular shoulder 38 facing downward is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the connecting member 4. The annular flange 36 of the holding member 32 is sandwiched between the annular shoulder 38 of the connecting member 4 and the upper end of the protruding portion 12 of the chuck body 6 described above, and thus the holding member 32 is fixed to the connecting member 4. The holding member 32 holds a regulating member 40. Regulating member 40 in the illustrated embodiment, the radius from the outer peripheral surface upper end of the disk main portion 42 of the shape, a cylindrical extending portion 44 extending from an upper surface outer circumferential edge portions of such main portion 42 upward, and the extended portions 44 It has an annular flange 46 projecting outward in the direction. By positioning the annular flange 46 of the regulating member 40 above the annular flange 34 of the holding member 32, the regulating member 40 is suspended from the holding member 32. A pressing rod 48 is disposed on the upper surface of the main portion 42 of the regulating member 40. An annular flange 50 that protrudes radially outward is formed at the lower end of the pressing rod 48. On the other hand, an annular flange 52 protruding inward in the radial direction is formed at the upper end portion of the inner peripheral surface of the connecting member 4. A restricting member elastic biasing means 54 composed of a compression coil is interposed between the annular flange 50 of the pressing rod 48 and the annular flange 52 of the connecting member 4. The restricting member elastic biasing means 54 elastically biases the pressing rod 48 and the restricting member 40 downward so that the annular flange 46 of the restricting member 40 is brought into contact with the annular flange 34 of the holding member 32. In a state where the regulating member 40 is brought located lowermost position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, in a state where the container closure 30 in the lid accommodation space 14 of the chuck body 6 is accommodated in the normal state the required as, It is preferable that a gap G (FIG. 2) of 0.1 to 0.2 mm exists between the flat lower surface of the regulating member 40 and the flat upper surface of the container lid 30.
[0016]
1 and 2, the synthetic resin container lid 30 itself accommodated in the lid accommodating space 14 of the chuck body 6 may be of a known form having so-called tamper evidence characteristics. . The container lid 30 includes a circular top wall 56 and a substantially cylindrical skirt wall 58 that hangs down from the periphery of the top wall 56. A rupture line 60 extending in the circumferential direction is formed in the skirt wall 58 , and the skirt wall 58 is partitioned into a main portion above the break line 60 and a tamper evidence skirt below the break line 60. . As clearly shown in FIG. 4, a large number of protrusions 62 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the main part of the skirt wall 58 at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. In the illustrated embodiment, the pitch of the ridges 20 formed on the inner peripheral surface main portion 18 of the chuck body 6 is P1, and the ridges formed on the outer peripheral surface of the main portion of the skirt wall 58 of the container lid 30. Assuming that the pitch of 62 is P2, P1 = 2 × P2. For example, 60 ridges 20 are formed on the chuck body 6, and 120 ridges 62 are formed on the container lid 30. ing.
[0017]
When the container lid 30 enters the lid housing space 14 of the chuck body 6 from below, each of the protrusions 20 formed on the inner peripheral surface main portion 18 of the chuck body 6 is clearly shown in FIG. In the meantime, two protrusions 62 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the main portion of the skirt wall 58 of the container lid 30 are respectively positioned. Then, the pressing member 26 partially protruded into the lid accommodating space 14 through the inner end of the through hole 24 is elastically engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the skirt wall 58 of the container lid 30, and thus from the lid accommodating space 14. The container lid 30 is prevented from falling off. When the container lid 30 is mounted on the mouth / neck portion (not shown) of the container, the connecting member 4 is rotated in a predetermined direction, and the chuck body 6 is also rotated in a predetermined direction accordingly. Then, the rotation of the chuck body 6 is transmitted to the container lid 30 via the protrusions 20 and 62. When the container lid 30 is not in an upright state but is slightly inclined and entered into the lid housing space 14 of the chuck body 6, the upper end of the container lid 30 comes into contact with the lower surface of the regulating member 40 and is elastic. It is corrected to an upright state by the action of the restricting member 40 biased downward.
