Description

The present invention relates to a method for peeling an electric wire in an electric wire processing machine for peeling a covering portion at an end of an electric wire.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there is an electric wire processing machine that peels a covering portion of an end of an electric wire with a pair of cutters in order to perform processing such as terminal crimping. Generally, as shown in FIG. The end of the electric wire 3 is inserted between the pair of cutters 1 and 2, and then both the cutters 1 and 2 are closed. As shown in FIG. It was set as the method by which the coating | coated part 3a was stripped off from the core wire part 3b of the electric wire 3 by cutting in 3a and pulling back the electric wire 3 in the longitudinal direction in the cutting state by these cutters 1 and 2.

。   Further, when the electric wire 3 is pulled back and the covering portion 3a is peeled off in the cutting state of the cutters 1 and 2, the core wire is reduced by reducing the cutting amount with respect to the covering portion 3a of the cutters 1 and 2 during the pulling operation. There is also a skinning method that reduces damage to the portion 3b (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

However, such cutters 1 and 2 used in this type of wire processing machine have so-called V-shaped blade portions 1a and 2a facing each other, as shown in FIGS. Each blade part 1a, 2a is comprised from the plane part 1b, 2b along the surface of the cutters 1, 2, and the inclined part 1c, 2c made into inclination, and it is a mutual plane at the time of the cutting | disconnection with respect to the electric wire 3, or a cutting | disconnection The parts 1b and 2b are configured to be slidable.

Therefore, when the electric wire 3 is pulled back in the longitudinal direction in the state of being cut by both the cutters 1 and 2 shown in FIG. 11, the covering portion 3 a at the end to be peeled is the flat portion of both the cutters 1 and 2. Since 1b and the inclined surface portion 2c are relatively separated and pushed in the separating direction, the covering portion 3a is pushed in an inclined state as shown in FIG. There has been a problem that bending of the core wire portion 3b is caused by peeling off the covering portion 3a in the inclined state.

Moreover, the part side separated by the slope part 2c of the cutter 2 in the coating | coated part 3a penetrate | invades from between the core part 3b and the blade part 2a along the inclination of the slope part 2c, and wraps around to the plane part 2b side. It was happening. The core wire portion 3b is pressed against the blade edge side of the blade portion 1a of the other cutter 1 by the wraparound from the blade edge of the cutter 2 in the covering portion 3a, and the core wire portion 3b is peeled off from the covering portion 3a in this pressed state. There were damages such as scratches due to scratches.

If such wrapping debris 3c adheres to the blade portion 2a, the same inconvenience may occur at the time of cutting or peeling the electric wire 3 to be peeled next.

This is because, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, even when the cutting amount of the cutters 1 and 2 with respect to the covering portion 3a is reduced during the pull-back operation of the electric wire 3, the covering portion 3a is peeled off at the initial stage. There was a possibility that the same situation might be caused in the stage.

Therefore, in view of these problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for stripping an electric wire in an electric wire processing machine that effectively prevents damage such as bending or scratching of a core wire portion.

The technical means for solving the above problems, cuts in pairs of cutter relative to the coating of the end of the wire, the wire skin stripping method in the wire processing machine for strip skin covering portion, arranged opposite to each other the Each blade portion of both cutters is provided with a flat surface portion and a slope portion facing the flat surface portion, and the both cutters are in such a posture that the flat surface portions slide when they are closed. It is arranged with respect to the coating of the end of the wire, before Symbol a step cut an incision both cutter to a position in contact or close to the core part and closing operation, after the incision step, apart from each other the two cutter Cutter opening step to open the cutting state by opening in the direction to cut, after the cutter opening step, relative to the both cutters, the wire is moved relative to the longitudinal direction, the cutting position of the wire An electric wire returning step for positioning the covering portion on the edge side between both cutters, a covering portion sandwiching step for closing both the cutters and cutting into a part of the covering portion after the electric wire returning step, and the covering portion A step of stripping the covering portion cut off from the core wire portion by moving the electric wire in the longitudinal direction relative to the two cutters after the sandwiching step; It is in.

As described above, according to the method of stripping the electric wire in the electric wire processing machine of the present invention, the position where the cutter is disposed so as to be opposed to each other with respect to the covering portion at the end portion of the electric wire to contact or approach the core portion. A cutting process for cutting up to the end, a cutter opening process for opening both cutters in a direction to separate them from each other after the cutting process, and a cutting process for opening the cutting state. Relative movement, wire return process to place the covering part on the edge side from the cutting position of the electric wire between both cutters, and after the wire returning process, the both cutters are closed and cut into part of the covering part. After the process and the covering portion sandwiching step, the wire is moved relative to both cutters in the longitudinal direction, and the covering portion cut by both cutters is peeled off from the core wire portion. And when the stripping portion is peeled off from the core portion by moving the electric wire relative to both cutters in the longitudinal direction, the cutting surface of the covering portion is directly pushed by each cutter. This is not a method, and each cutter does not directly contact the core wire portion, so that it is possible to effectively prevent damage such as bending or scratching of the core wire portion, and it is also possible to effectively prevent the adhesion of sneak pegs.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIGS. 1 to 8 show an example of a method for stripping a wire in a wire processing machine such as a terminal crimping machine. The pair of cutters 1 and 2 disposed opposite to each other includes so-called V-shaped blade portions 1a and 2a that face each other as described above, and each blade portion 1a and 2a is a flat portion along the surface of the cutters 1 and 2. 1b, 2b and inclined slope portions 1c, 2c are configured so that the flat portions 1b, 2b can slide freely when the electric wire 3 is cut or cut.

And when stripping the coating | coated part 3a in the edge part of the electric wire 3, it clamps with the clamp mechanism etc. which are not illustrated between both the cutters 1 and 2 made into the open position (refer FIG. 6) like the past. The end of the electric wire 3 is inserted for a predetermined length (electric wire insertion step), and the end of the electric wire 3 is inserted between the cutters 1 and 2, and the cutters 1 and 2 are closed. And as FIG. 7 shows, a notch | incision is made into the coating | coated part 3a to the position which contacts or approaches the core wire part 3b (incision process).

Thereafter, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, the cutters 1 and 2 are opened in a direction to be separated from each other and returned to the open posture retracted from the electric wire 3 to release the cut state (cutter opening process).

After this cutter opening step, the electric wire 3 is slightly pulled back to move the electric wire 3 relative to the cutters 1 and 2 in the longitudinal direction, and the covering portion 3a on the edge side of the cutting position 3d of the electric wire 3 is moved. Position between both cutters (wire return process).

After that, as shown in FIG. 3, both cutters 1 and 2 are closed and cut into a part of the covering portion 3a, so that the covering portion 3a is sandwiched between the so-called both cutters 1 and 2 (covering portion sandwiching step). ). In addition, what is necessary is just to set suitably the cutting depth of each cutter 1 and 2 with respect to this coating | coated part 3a in the range of the thickness of the coating | coated part 3a.

If both the cutters 1 and 2 are cut into a part of the covering portion 3a and the electric wire 3 is further pulled back, the covering portion 3a on the end side from the cutting position 3d is sandwiched between the cutters 1 and 2. Since the core wire portion 3b is pulled out from the covering portion 3a and the covering portion 3a at the end of the electric wire 3 is peeled off from the core wire portion 3b, the core wire portion 3b is exposed (the covering portion is peeled off). Taking process).

Then, after completely removing the covering portion 3a from the core wire portion 3b, if both the cutters 1 and 2 are further closed, as shown in FIG. The part 3a is cut and the covering part 3a is removed from both cutters 1 and 2 (covering part cutting step). In synchronism with the cutting of the covering portion 3a, compressed air is blown onto the corresponding positions of the covering portions 3a to be cut, and the cut covering portions 3a are blown off from the blade portions 1a and 2a of the cutters 1 and 2 to be removed. It is good also as a structure equipped with a peeling scrap removal apparatus in an electric wire processing machine.

According to the method for stripping the electric wire of the present embodiment, both the cutters 1 and 2 are used to cut the covering portion 3a at the end of the electric wire 3 and then the covering portion 3a on the end side from the cutting position 3d is cut into the two cutters. In this state, the core wire portion 3b is relatively pulled out from the covering portion 3a in a state of being sandwiched between 1 and 2, and the electric wire 3 is relatively moved in the longitudinal direction with respect to both the cutters 1 and 2 so that the covering portion 3a is the core wire portion. When peeling from 3b, the blade parts 1a and 2a of the cutters 1 and 2 do not directly contact the core wire part 3b, and damage such as scratches due to scratching on the core wire part 3b can be effectively prevented.

Moreover, the coating | coated part 3a stripped off is not the system pushed by the plane part 1b and the slope part 2c of each cutter 1 and 2 like the past, but the blade parts 1a and 2a of both the cutters 1 and 2 cut. Since the covering portion 3a and the core wire portion 3b are relatively moved in a state of being sandwiched in a shape, bending of the core wire portion 3b can be effectively prevented.

Furthermore, since the cutting surface of the covering portion 3a is not directly pushed by the cutters 1 and 2, that is, the method of directly pushing the cutting surface of the covering portion 3a by the inclined surface portion 2c is not used, the covering portion 3a Thus, there is no possibility that the swarf residue 3c adheres to the flat surface portion 2b side of the blade portion 2a by the covering portion 3a at the initial separation stage of peeling.

In the above-described embodiment, the wire stripping method is shown in which the covering portion 3a is completely removed from the core wire portion 3b in the covering portion peeling step. However, the subsequent step is a subsequent wire such as manual soldering. 9, in the covering portion peeling step, the covering portion 3 a remains at the end of the core wire portion 3 b without completely removing the covering portion 3 a from the core wire portion 3 b as shown in FIG. 9. It may be a method of stripping an electric wire that partially peels off the state. In this case, the cutters 1 and 2 are opened from the state shown in FIG. 9 and returned to the initial state.

Further, in the wire processing machine, a control method can be switched between the control of the wire stripping method as in the present embodiment and the control of the conventional wire stripping method as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11 as necessary. As a result, it is possible to selectively use according to the type of electric wire 3, processing work, etc., and there is an advantage that it is excellent in usability.

Furthermore, in the said embodiment, although the electric wire 3 pinched by each cutter 1 and 2 is moved so that it may be pulled apart along the longitudinal direction, the electric wire processing apparatus of the structure which peels off the coating | coated part 3a is shown, An electric wire processing machine having a structure in which the covering portion 3a is peeled off by moving the cutters 1 and 2 along the longitudinal direction of the electric wire 3 may be used.
