Description

The present invention belongs to the technical field of a floor surface polishing machine configured to polish a floor surface coated with wax by rotating a pad at a high speed with a motor. Specifically, the present invention relates to a pad suitable for use in a floor polishing machine.

Regarding the pad of the floor surface polishing machine, conventionally, for example, as seen in Patent Document 1, it is a pad for repairing the surface of the resin wax applied on the floor surface to a mirror state, By tufting 80% cotton spun yarn and 20% nylon filament twisted yarn on the surface of the base fabric, a fiber layer having a thickness of about 1 cm is provided. There is a cleaning pad having a structure in which a backing material made of felt is provided, the whole is cut into a circular shape, and a hole is provided in the center.

The pad described in Patent Document 1 is applied on the floor surface in order to prevent friction heat from being generated from the nylon filament of the fiber layer as the pad rotates at a high speed and the cotton spun yarn of the fiber layer escapes heat. It is possible to raise the temperature of the wax that has been made soft, and as a result, it has the advantage that the surface of the wax can be restored to a mirror state.
JP 2000-271055 A

However, since the pad described in Patent Document 1 uses nylon filaments as the constituent material of the fiber layer, the frictional heat generated when the pad rotates is high, and the pad is placed on the polished floor. There was a problem that the crescent-shaped scratches that were the rotation marks remained. In addition, it was also found that similar crescent-shaped scratches remain on the floor surface depending on the state of the pad hair length and the hair density state.

Therefore, the technical problem of the present invention is that when polishing the floor surface by rotating the pad at high speed with a motor, the floor surface can be polished into a smooth mirror surface, and the crescent-shaped rotation trace by the pad on the floor surface It is intended to provide a pad for a floor surface polishing machine that is devised so that the floor surface can be polished in a wet state without leaving any residual.

(1) In order to solve the above technical problem, a floor polisher pad according to claim 1 of the present invention is a floor surface on which wax is applied by driving a motor and rotating it at high speed. A pad for a floor surface polishing machine that can polish the surface of the base fabric, and a fiber layer constituted by flocking a cotton thread of 100% cotton with a length of 12 to 16 mm from the base fabric surface; And a felt material sewn and backed on the back side of the base fabric, and the weight per pad area of the planted cotton yarn is 0.12 to 0.19 g / cm 2 . .

(2) Moreover, in the pad for a floor surface polishing machine according to claim 2 of the present invention, the felt material is composed of a blended material of 20% regular polyester fiber and 80% low-melting polyester fiber, and It is characterized by being subjected to needle punching and welding.

According to the floor surface polishing machine pad according to the present invention described above, friction heat with the floor surface can be suppressed by using 100% cotton yarn. By making the hair length a predetermined length, the degree of polishing became appropriate. By setting the weight of the cotton yarn to an appropriate value, there will be no polishing marks left by the pad, such as crescent scratches, along with the polishing effect. By using felt as a backing material, a cushioning effect on the floor surface can be obtained. It can exhibit an excellent glazing effect.

Also, if the floor surface is polished with a conventional felt material or a pad containing chemical fibers, the wax surface is partly scraped off, causing the powder to remain on the floor surface and cause slippage. The floor surface from which the wax has been scraped is formed with fine irregularities, which reduces frictional resistance and causes slippage. In the present invention, the floor surface is made of 100% cotton pad. By polishing the wax surface, the wax surface is not scraped off, so the wax powder, which is considered to be the cause of slipping, can be finished without being scattered on the floor surface, and the surface irregularities are also small. The finish of the surface is moist, that is, it has the feeling of being sucked by the suction cup, and the advantage of being able to finish the floor surface with a low so-called slip degree can be exhibited. At the same time, since the amount of consumption of the wax is small, the advantage that the polishing of the floor surface can be performed economically can be exhibited.

Further, according to the backing material used in the present invention, fibers are interlaced with a needle punch and entangled and welded to form a strong fiber layer. When attaching to the pad base, it can be firmly fixed to the pad base and the durability can be maintained, and since a commonly used plastic backing plate is not used, the weight is light. In addition, it also has a feature that the occurrence of unbalance during rotation is small, and it is a truly innovative pad for a floor surface polishing machine.

The best mode of the above-described floor polishing machine pad according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIGS. 1 and 2 are side views showing an example of the floor polishing machine using the pad of the present invention. In these drawings, 1 is a polishing machine, 2 is a pad cover attached to the front bottom side of the polishing machine 1, and 3 is this pad cover. 2, a pad according to the present invention that is rotatably mounted inside 2, a drive pulley 4 b that is mounted on a rotating shaft 4 a of a motor 4 that is mounted in an outer case 1 a of the polishing machine 1, and a rotating shaft of the pad 3. A drive belt 4V is stretched between interlocking pulleys 3b attached to 3a. When the motor 4 rotates, the pad 3 is rotated at a high speed in conjunction with the drive belt 4V.

Further, 2a is a skirt attached to the lower end of the pad cover 2, 3X is a bracket for fixing the pad 3 to the rotating shaft 3a, and 3T is an adhesive tape for releasably bonding the pad 3 according to the present invention to the bottom surface of the bracket 3X. (Product name: Velcro) 5 is an axle attached to the rear part of the polishing machine 1, 6 is a traveling wheel attached to the axle 5, and 7 is a leg rod 7 a attached to the rear part of the polishing machine 1. 8 is an operation box attached to the upper end of the operation handle 7, 8a, 8a, 8b and 8b are handle levers and operation levers attached to the left and right of the operation box 8, and 11 is gloss The auxiliary wheel attached to the axle shaft 11a constructed in the rear part of the machine 1 is shown.

Further, in the figure, reference numeral 9 denotes a duct in which the intake port 9b is opened and connected to the rear part of the pad cover 2 described above, and the front end part 9a of the duct 9 provided horizontally toward the rear part of the outer case 1a is directed upward. The filter bag 10 for collecting dust is upwardly attached to the distal end portion 9a and is detachably attached.

The filter bag 10 has an eggplant 10T attached to the upper end of the filter bag 10 via a hanging ring. When the eggplant 10T is hooked on the support material 1T attached to the rear upper surface of the outer case 1a, it is connected to the tip 9a of the duct 9. The entire filter bag 10 can be suspended so as to stand upward as shown in the figure.

Next, 10M is a partition cylinder provided on the inner bottom side of the filter bag 10, and this partition cylinder 10M is formed in a tube shape with an upper end opening using a flexible cloth such as nylon. The upper end opening 10Mb is opened upward in the filter bag 10, and the lower end opening 10Ma protrudes from the lower end of the filter bag 10 to the bottom surface side, and a rubber connection pipe is fitted inside the lower end opening 10Ma. Thus, a connecting port that can be freely attached to and detached from the front end portion 9a of the duct 9 is formed, and a fastener that opens when the dust collected inside is disposed outside is provided at the center of the back surface of the filter bag 10. It has been.

Since the floor polishing machine used in the present invention is configured as described above, as shown in the drawing, the filter bag 10 is connected upward to the front end portion 9a of the duct 9, and the upper side NAS 10T is connected to the outer case. When the glazing operation is performed while being hooked on the support material 1T of 1a, the pad 3 rotated at high speed by the motor 4 polishes the floor surface and glazes (buffing). The dust can be put on a swirling airflow generated by the rotation of the pad 3 and sent from the pad cover 2 through the duct 9 and the flexible partition cylinder 10M into the filter bag 10 to collect the dust.

FIG. 3 is a plan view showing an example of the pad 3 according to the present invention, and FIG. 4 is an enlarged cross-sectional view thereof. In these drawings (particularly FIG. 4), the reference numeral 3VT represents the whole. 4 is a fiber layer constructed by flocking and cutting 100% cotton yarn 3W ... with a length of 12 to 16 mm from the surface of the base fabric 3V to the base fabric 3V made of polyester fiber. In FIG. The thickness (12-16 mm) of this fiber layer 3VT is shown.

Further, the structure of the cotton yarn 3W to be planted will be described in detail. Three twisted cotton yarns 3W having a thickness of 10 are twisted together into three per hole, that is, the entire surface of the pad 3, that is, the base fabric 3V. The entire pad 3 is configured so that the cotton thread 3W is implanted so that the weight of the cotton thread per unit area is 0.12 to 0.19 g / cm 2 .

The weight of the cotton yarn per unit area is obtained by planting the cotton yarn 3W having a hair length of 12 to 16 mm to the pad 3 having a cotton pad area / 1428 cm 2 in the experiment, and setting the weight to 170 to 270 g. In the experiment, it was found that when the weight is less than 170 g, a crescent-shaped scratch that is a pad mark is easily attached. When the weight of the cotton yarn per unit is decreased, the contact pressure per unit area is increased, and it is considered that the flaw is generated. In order to rotate or stop the pad 3 with as little current as possible, the total weight of the pad 3 is preferably as small as possible, and the upper limit of the weight per unit area is set to 270 g which is a practical limit. A cotton tape is attached to the outer peripheral end and inner peripheral end of the pad, as will be described later, to protect the backing felt from unwinding.

In order to reinforce the base fabric 3V, a polyester felt material 3R (12 mm) is sewn together with the base fabric 3V by a sewing machine 3E. The polyester felt material 3R has, for example, a basis weight of 850 g / m 2 , 20% regular polyester fiber (6 denier, 51 mm long fiber), and 80% low melting point polyester fiber (15 denier, 76 mm long fiber). And the fibers are entangled with each other by a needle punching process, and the low melting point polyester fibers are welded and entangled with each other by a heat welding process to firmly connect the fibers to form a strong fiber. Then, the surface of the felt material 3R configured as described above is adhered to the bottom surface side of the bracket 3X using the adhesive tape 3T, so that the pad 3 is detachably adhered to the bracket 3X side. .

3 and 4, 3Z is a mounting hole provided in the center of the pad 3 for mounting on the rotating shaft 3a, 3S... Is provided with the outer peripheral portion of the felt material 3R and the mounting hole 3Z. In order to protect the inner peripheral portion and prevent the felt from unraveling, a cotton tape attached so as to wrap the outer peripheral portion and the inner peripheral portion is shown. In FIG. 4, H indicates the thickness (12 mm) of the felt material 3R.

FIG. 5 shows a comparison of performance between the 100% cotton pad 3 according to the present invention and a conventional known pad. In FIG. 5, the pad 3 according to the present invention does not have a superior performance compared to a pad of 80% cotton / 20% synthetic fiber, which is a conventional pad, and a non-woven pad, in terms of polished increase value. Favorable results are obtained in the state of occurrence of crescent-shaped scratches, which are rotation marks, the amount of wax shaving, and the floor slip. From these results, the pad 3 made of 100% cotton comes into contact with the floor surface with a very soft touch. As a result, the amount of wax shaving is small, that is, the floor surface is smooth with few scratches, and As a result, it became clear that there was an effect of forming a floor surface with less slip.

FIG. 6 shows the effect of the hair length on the floor polishing in the pad 3 of 100% cotton according to the present invention. When the hair length exceeds 16 mm, the pad rotation mark (crescent wound) ) Does not remain, but if the brushing value is not sufficient and the hair length is not seen at 12 mm, the pad polishing mark is sufficient, but the pad rotation mark (crescent mark) remains. When the hair length was in the range of 16 to 12 mm, the polished increase value was good, and the result was that no pad rotation trace (a crescent moon trace) remained.
