Description
The present invention provides a tray having a shape that can be set by a transfer unit provided on the upstream side of a recording unit that performs recording on the recording surface of the thin plate-like body, provided with a setting unit that can set a thin plate-like body. The present invention relates to a recording apparatus including the same.
Here, the liquid ejecting apparatus uses an ink jet recording head, and is not limited to a recording apparatus such as a printer, a copying machine, and a facsimile machine that discharges ink from the recording head to perform recording on a recording medium. And a device that ejects a liquid corresponding to the application from a liquid ejecting head corresponding to the ink jet recording head to an ejected medium corresponding to a recording medium, and adheres the liquid to the ejected medium. .
In addition to the recording head, as a liquid ejecting head, a color material ejecting head used for manufacturing a color filter such as a liquid crystal display, and an electrode material (conductive paste) used for forming an electrode such as an organic EL display or a surface emitting display (FED) Examples thereof include an ejection head, a bioorganic matter ejection head used for biochip production, and a sample ejection head as a precision pipette.
DVD(Digital
Versatile Disc)
In a recording apparatus or a liquid ejecting apparatus represented by an ink jet printer, a DVD (Digital
Some are configured to be recordable by directly ejecting ink droplets onto a label surface of an optical disk as a thin plate, represented by Versatile Disc). In such an ink jet printer, generally, a thin plate member such as an optical disk is set on a tray having a plate shape, is transported through a transport path in the ink jet printer in a state of being set on the tray, and recording is performed. (See, for example, Patent Document 1).
Here, the tray is configured to be independent from the ink jet printer, and when performing recording on the optical disc, the tray on which the optical disc is set is fed (inserted) into the recording device, and recording is performed. On the other hand, the tray can be configured integrally with the recording apparatus (so-called built-in type). When the tray is configured integrally with the recording apparatus, it is necessary from the viewpoint of facilitating operability that the tray can be automatically moved forward and backward by a button operation. Therefore, in the ink jet printer having such a configuration, when the optical disk is set in the tray, the tray is projected out of the recording apparatus by pressing the operation button, that is, the optical disk can be set in the tray. The disk is advanced to the set position, and the optical disk is set or removed from the tray. Then, by pressing the operation button again, the tray is retracted to the print standby position or the storage position.
However, in such a built-in type recording apparatus of the tray, when the tray is configured to be able to move forward and backward by a push button operation, when the user accidentally presses the operation button, that is, the user's The tray may be conveyed at an unintended timing. For example, when trying to remove the optical disk set in the tray, there is a possibility that the tray may be retracted by erroneously pressing the operation button. At this time, a hole for ejecting (ejecting) the optical disk is formed in the tray, and when the tray is retracted (withdrawn into the apparatus) with a finger inserted into the hole, the hole and the apparatus There is also a risk of fingers being caught between.
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such problems, and the problem is to make it possible to more safely perform the work of setting or removing the thin plate from the tray on which the thin plate can be set. is there.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a first aspect of the present invention is provided with a set portion on which a thin plate-like body can be set and provided on the upstream side of a recording means for performing recording on the recording surface of the thin plate-like body A tray having a shape that can be transported by the transporting means, wherein the set portion has a hole that allows the thin plate-like body to be removed from the set portion, and has an opening at the downstream end in the transport direction of the tray. It is formed so that it may have.
According to the above aspect, the hole is formed in the tray so that the thin plate-like body can be taken out, and the thin plate-like body is removed (ejected) from the tray by inserting a finger into the hole. Is possible. And since the said hole part is formed so that it may have an opening part in the conveyance direction downstream end part of the said tray, the said tray is pulled back to the conveyance direction upstream with the finger inserted in the said hole part. However, the finger inserted into the hole can come out of the tray from the opening, and thus the finger is not caught between the hole and the device, and it can be safely done. An operation of setting or removing the thin plate member from the tray can be performed.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect, the hole portion is formed to have a groove shape extending from the set portion to a downstream end portion in the transport direction of the tray. Features. According to this aspect, since the hole portion has a groove shape extending straight from the set portion to the downstream end portion in the transport direction of the tray, the finger inserted into the hole portion is the hole. The thin plate-like body can be set or removed from the tray even more safely.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first or second aspect described above, the set portion of the tray is a deformed thin plate shape capable of setting a deformed thin plate shape body having a different outline from the set portion. An adapter having a body setting portion can be attached, and the adapter is formed with a tongue piece having a shape that can be fitted to the hole portion.
According to the above aspect, the set portion of the tray can be mounted with an adapter capable of setting a deformed thin plate body having a different outline from the set portion, and the adapter is fitted with the hole portion. Since a tongue piece having a shape that can be combined is formed, the adapter can be easily detached from the tray by lifting the tongue piece with a finger. And even if the tray is pulled back with the finger inserted into the hole at this time, the above-described opening does not cause a problem that the finger is pinched between the hole and the device, The adapter can be safely set or removed from the tray.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the third aspect, the adapter includes a positioning piece that determines a positional relationship with the set portion of the tray, and the set portion of the tray fits the positioning piece. It is characterized by having a possible accommodating part.
According to the above aspect, the adapter can be positioned by fitting the positioning piece into the accommodating portion of the tray, and the displacement of the adapter with respect to the tray is suppressed. Therefore, the irregular thin plate-like body set on the adapter is also displaced with respect to the tray. Therefore, it is possible to suppress a decrease in recording quality when recording is performed on the deformed thin plate member.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the fourth aspect, the deformed thin plate member set portion is provided with a support portion capable of supporting the deformed thin plate member set in the deformed thin plate member set portion. In addition, the support portion is configured to serve also as the positioning piece.
According to the above aspect, the structure of the adapter can be simplified and the structure of the tray to which the adapter can be attached can be simplified, so that an increase in production cost can be suppressed.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in any one of the third to fifth aspects, the adapter and the deformed thin plate-like body are mounted with the adapter having the deformed thin plate-like body set on the tray. Is configured so as not to protrude from the tray in the thickness direction of the tray.
According to the above aspect, since the tray and the adapter are configured so that the adapter and the irregular thin plate member do not protrude from the tray in the thickness direction of the tray, a step is formed at the outer edge portion of the adapter or the irregular thin plate member. When the transport means transports the tray, the transport means is caught by the outer edge portion of the adapter or the deformed thin plate-like body to push out the adapter or the deformed thin plate-like body from the set portion. Can be prevented.
Therefore, it is possible to smoothly transport the tray on which the adapter with the deformed thin plate-like body is mounted. In addition, you may implement | achieve the structure in which an adapter and an unusual thin plate-shaped object do not protrude in the thickness direction of the said tray from either tray or an adapter.
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in any one of the third to sixth aspects, the set portion of the tray has a substantially circular concave portion at the outer edge portion and a convex portion at the central portion. The deformed thin plate-like body is a ring-shaped disk having a hole in the center, and the outer diameter of the deformed thin plate-like body is smaller than the diameter of the concave portion, and the inner diameter is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the convex portion. The adapter includes a base portion that is a substantially ring-shaped disk having a hole in the center, and the outer diameter of the base portion of the adapter is substantially the same as the diameter of the concave portion, and the inner diameter is that of the deformed thin plate-like body. The outer diameter is approximately the same as the outer diameter, and the inner diameter portion of the base portion is the deformed thin plate member set portion. The thickness of the deformed thin plate member and the thickness of the base portion of the adapter are substantially the same as the depth of the recess. The support portion protrudes inward from the inner diameter portion of the base portion, and further forward The base portion protrudes outward in the thickness direction of the base portion from the surface facing the tray, and the protruding amount of the support portion protruding outward in the thickness direction from the base portion is the thickness of the bottom surface of the set portion of the tray. It is characterized by being formed smaller than this.
According to the above aspect, the base portion of the adapter, which is a substantially ring-shaped disk, has an outer diameter that is substantially the same as the diameter of the recess provided as the set portion of the tray, and an inner diameter portion that is a deformed thin plate body set portion. Since the diameter of the sheet is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the deformed thin plate member, a gap between the set portion of the tray and the deformed thin plate member set in the set portion can be filled. In addition, since the thickness of the deformed thin plate and the thickness of the base portion of the adapter are substantially the same as the depth of the recess, the recording surface of the deformed thin plate, the surface of the tray, and the surface of the adapter are flush with each other. Can be.
Furthermore, since the protrusion amount of the support portion protruding outward in the thickness direction from the surface facing the tray in the base portion is smaller than the thickness of the bottom surface in the tray setting portion, the adapter and the deformed thin plate-like body may be thicker than the tray. The tray mounted with the adapter on which the thin plate-like body is set can be smoothly conveyed without protruding in the vertical direction.
According to an eighth aspect of the present invention, there is provided conveyance means configured to intermittently convey a tray provided with a set portion capable of setting a thin plate-like body along a guide member by a predetermined conveyance amount, and the tray. A recording unit configured to be able to execute recording on a recording surface of a thin plate that is conveyed while being set, and the conveyance of the tray between the standby position where the tray can be stored and the conveying unit are executed. The tray in a recording apparatus comprising a possible auxiliary conveying means, wherein a set portion of the tray has a notch formed on a front side of the tray.
According to this aspect, since the set portion of the tray has a notch formed on the front side of the tray, the thin plate-like body is inserted into the set portion by inserting a finger into the notch. It is possible to remove (eject) from the. The notch is a notch formed in the front (downstream end in the transport direction) side of the tray, so that the tray is located upstream in the transport direction with a finger inserted in the notch. Even when pulled back, the finger inserted into the notch can come out of the tray from the notch, and thus does not cause a problem that the finger is pinched between the notch and the device, The operation of setting or removing the thin plate-like body from the tray can be performed safely.

As shown in FIG. 1, the
FIG. 2 shows the inside of the

The above is the description of the schematic configuration of the
Next, the restraining means 65 will be described with reference to FIGS. 3, 4 and 6.
As described above, the
Further, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the
As shown in FIG. 6, the first restraining
Therefore, when the

That is, there are generally two types of compact discs (an outer diameter of 12 [cm] and an outer diameter of 8 [cm]) as an example of an optical disc, and either size of the compact disc can be fitted to the
The first restraining
Furthermore, even if the
As described above, since the first restraining

As described above, compact discs which are examples of optical discs include those with an outer diameter of 12 [cm] and those with an outer diameter of 8 [cm]. Here, a compact disk (hereinafter referred to as 12 cm CD) having an outer diameter of 12 [cm] is an example of a thin plate-like body to be set directly on the
As shown in FIG. 10, similarly to the
That is, the
Since the components other than the
First, the
As shown in FIG. 11, the
The
As with the
The diameter D1 of the set
Similarly to 12 cm CD, 8
However, since the outer diameter D3 of the 8cmCD201 is smaller than the diameter D1 of the concave portion of the set
When the step is formed by the outer edge portion of the 8
Therefore, by setting the inner diameter d2 and the outer diameter D2 of the
Subsequently, details of the

The deformed thin plate member set
The
As shown in FIG. 9 or FIG. 15, the
Further, as shown in FIG. 16, 8
As described above, the
In other words, the
Then, in a state where the 8
In the present embodiment, a total of four
Further, as described, the
That is, the
Further, by setting the thickness of the 8
As described above, the
Therefore, the conveyance of the
As shown in FIG. 10, when the
That is, when the
More specifically, as shown in FIG. 14, since the
Therefore, when the
However, when only the
In order to prevent this, for example, when the

When the
In addition to the 8
By the way, the 2nd
The
All the means described above include a conveying means configured to convey a tray in which a thin plate-like body having a recording surface is set in a predetermined setting unit, and a thin plate-like body that is conveyed while being set on the tray. A recording unit configured to record characters, graphics, and the like on a recording surface; and an auxiliary conveyance unit capable of performing conveyance of the tray between a standby position where the tray can be stored and the conveyance unit. <3.
<3. Second embodiment of adapter and tray capable of setting deformed thin plate>

Similarly to the
When the 8
In the state where the
By the way, the 3rd
The third
This is more remarkable in a recording apparatus such as the present embodiment in which the
In the above description, 8 cm CD has been described as an example of the “deformed thin plate-like body”. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and it is needless to say that the present invention is applicable to, for example, a business card size optical disc.
