Description
【0001】
【0016】
Stk =ρd2 UC/9ηD
【0017】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a portable airborne sampler that collects indoor airborne bacteria in order to investigate and manage the state of contamination by microorganisms or bacteria.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, stationary and portable types of airborne bacteria samplers that collect bacteria and fungi floating in the air and check their sterility in pharmaceutical and food industries and public facilities such as hospitals. Are known. In particular, portable airborne samplers are used to manage and investigate contamination conditions in places where cleanliness is required, such as bio clean rooms and food industry production lines, and where microbial contamination conditions are required to be managed carefully, such as hospitals. Are used inside those spaces for.
[0003]
As shown in FIG. 9, the small and light portable sampler includes a
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the above-described conventional portable sampler uses a small fan such as a sirocco fan or a radial fan, a high static pressure cannot be obtained. Therefore, in order to ensure the air flow rate which passes a nozzle part, it becomes the nozzle shape which can be operate | moved by a low static pressure, and collection performance worsens. On the other hand, if the suction nozzle shape has a good collection performance, a sufficient flow rate cannot be obtained with a static pressure of about 200 Pa obtained with a radial fan or the like, and the wind speed passing through the nozzle section is slow and the collection efficiency is low. There is a point.
[0005]
Further, since the nozzle holes are arranged radially, there is a variation in the number of nozzle holes per unit area on the surface of the
[0006]
The object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned problems, to make the air flow per unit area through the nozzle plate uniform, and to increase the number and position of colonies that are cultured after collecting airborne bacteria. An object is to provide a portable airborne sampler that can be confirmed with accuracy.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a portable airborne sampler according to the present invention includes a nozzle plate having a plurality of holes, a nozzle plate holding member for holding the nozzle plate, and a medium located downstream of the nozzle plate. A portable airborne microbe sampler having a petri dish support part for supporting a petri dish to be stored and a fan for generating an air flow, wherein the holes of the nozzle plate are arranged in a lattice pattern, and the air flow causes the nozzle plate to The wind speed when passing is set to 20 m / second or more .

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention will be described in detail based on the embodiment shown in FIGS.

Here, for example, in order to effectively collect particles having a particle size of 0.7 μm, an ideal graph of limit particle size and collection efficiency shown in FIG. 7 (Aerosol Technology, page 114, FIG. 5.8 Limiter of impactor) Ideal and actual particle size; April 10, 1985, published by Inoue Shoin Co., Ltd.) If the collection efficiency is set to 50% or more, the Stokes number Stk value is 0.22 or more (√Stk = 0) If the collection efficiency is 95% or more, 0.3 or more (√Stk = 0.55 or more) is preferable. The Stokes number Stk is expressed by the following equation when the particle density ρ, the particle diameter d, the wind speed U, the Cunningham coefficient C, the air viscosity η, and the nozzle inner diameter D are given.
[0016]
Stk = ρd 2 UC / 9ηD
[0017]
In a conventional portable airborne fungus sampler, for example, an experiment was performed on Bacillus subtilis. As a result, the wind speed was 11.8 m / sec, the nozzle diameter was 0.6 mm, and the collection efficiency was about 10%. This indicates that the value of Stokes number Stk is about 0.07 (√Stk = 0.27) from the previous equation, and sufficient collection performance cannot be obtained. In order to set the collection efficiency for Bacillus subtilis to 90% or more, the value of the Stokes number Stk needs to be 0.2 to 0.3 (√Stk = 0.45 to 0.55). When calculating the case of Stk = 0.3, the wind speed has to be increased to 48.4 m / sec, which is about 4.1 times the conventional speed.
[0018]
However, since the pressure loss increases with the square of the wind speed as is generally known, when the wind speed is increased by a factor of 4.1, both the pressure loss and the air volume increase, and the required work rate is increased. [W] is 69 times that of the prior art, making practical application difficult.
[0019]
Next, by reducing the number of
[0020]
In the present example, the relationship between the passing air speed of the air flow at the nozzle portion and the collection efficiency for Bacillus subtilis is as shown in FIG. From this result, in order to obtain a collection efficiency of 90% or more, a wind speed of about 23 m / second is required. For example, in order to maintain a collection efficiency of 50% or more, a wind speed of 20 m / second or more is required. I understand that.
[0021]
In practice, it is extremely effective if the collection efficiency of 50% or more can be maintained. However, since the conventional commercially available portable sampler uses a radial type fan, such a high static pressure is required. Can't get.
[0022]
Therefore, in this embodiment, in order to realize a wind speed of 20 m / second or more, for example, a turbo fan of 400 Pa or more at the rated air volume is used to eliminate the low static pressure, which is a conventional problem, and Compared with the portable type, high collection efficiency can be obtained, and furthermore, the performance is almost equal to or higher than that of the stationary type having a high static pressure.
[0023]
In addition, when the nozzle holes are arranged radially as in the conventional example, the number of nozzle holes varies depending on the location of the nozzle portion, and the number of nozzle holes per unit area varies depending on the position. The amount of air passing through the nozzle part is partially different. As a result, the air volume hitting the medium K in the petri dish S becomes uneven, the medium K is partially dried, and the bacteria collection rate tends to decrease in this part. No colonies can be made.
[0024]
Therefore, in the present embodiment, the

However, in the test conducted by the inventors, the shape of the colonies is approximately 2.5 mm or less. By setting the pitch interval to 2.6 mm or more, colonies do not overlap and the number of colonies cannot be counted. Furthermore, in the radial nozzle part, it is impossible to determine the position of the nozzle hole through which the collected bacteria pass, and it is not possible to determine whether the colony was not formed in the culture after the collection or the part without the nozzle hole. 【The invention's effect】
As described above, the portable airborne bacteria sampler according to the present invention has a plurality of nozzle holes regularly arranged in a lattice pattern on the nozzle plate into which air flows to collect airborne bacteria. The air volume that contacts the medium can be made uniform, and the medium will partially dry, which tends to reduce the collection rate of the bacteria, and even if the bacteria are collected, colonies after culturing will not be possible In addition, when the collected bacteria are cultured, the colonies at close intervals close together will not overlap, and the actual number of colonies will not be counted, so accurately measure the position and quantity of the collected bacteria. Can do.
