Claims (17)
- 移動通信システムで基地局へ移動端末の利用可能な電力を報告する方法であって、
複数のインデックスを有する情報テーブルでTPR(Traffice to Pilot Ratio)をインデックスにマッピングする段階と、
前記インデックスを基地局に伝送する段階と、を含み、
前記インデックスは、移動端末から基地局へ伝送可能なパケットのパケットサイズに対応するTPR値の範囲を識別し、前記TPRは、逆方向パケットデータチャンネルの送信電力対パイロットチャンネルの送信電力の比を示す
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記情報テーブルは、前記基地局から初期通信の遂行時にシグナリングチャンネルを通じて受信して貯蔵するテーブルであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記TPRはデータチャンネルと他のチャンネルにより獲得されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記他のチャンネルは、パケットデータ制御チャンネル(PDCCH)又は/及び第2のパイロットチャンネル(SPICH)であることを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記移動端末の逆方向チャンネルの送信を制御するための許可メッセージを受信する段階と、
前記許可メッセージが許容されたパケットを前記基地局に伝送する段階と、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 - 移動端末から前記移動端末の利用可能な電力の情報を受信し、前記情報により逆方向伝送を許容する移動通信システムの前記基地局で情報テーブルを生成して前記移動端末に提供するための方法であって、
移動通信システムで逆方向に伝送される符号化パケットのパケットサイズに対応する所定範囲のTPRに量子化する段階と、
前記量子化された範囲により情報テーブルを構成する段階と、
前記情報テーブルを前記移動端末に伝送する段階と、を含み、
前記TPRは、逆方向パケットデータチャンネルの送信電力対パイロットチャンネルの送信電力の比を示し、前記情報テーブルは、TPR値とインデックスをマッピングするためのテーブルである
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記情報テーブルは、シグナリングチャンネルを通じて伝送されることを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記移動通信システムで提供するパケットのサイズに対応してTPR値を量子化する段階と、
前記それぞれのTPR値に対応するデータチャンネルと他のチャンネルの各TPR値を量子化する段階と、
前記各々量子化された値を用いて前記パケットのサイズに対応するTPR値をマッピングして情報テーブルを構成する段階と、
を有することを特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。 - 前記情報テーブルは、シグナリングチャンネルを通じて伝送されることを特徴とする請求項10記載の方法。
- 前記他のチャンネルは、パケットデータ制御チャンネル(PDCCH)及び/又は第2のパイロットチャンネル(SPICH)であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の方法。
- 移動通信システムで移動端末と基地局との間の利用可能な電力の情報を報告するための移動端末装置であって、
複数のインデックスを有する情報テーブルでTPR(Traffice to Pilot Ratio)をインデックスにマッピングする制御部と、
前記インデックスを基地局に伝送する送信部と、を含み、
前記インデックスは、移動端末から基地局へ伝送可能なパケットのパケットサイズに対応するTPR値の範囲を識別し、前記TPRは、逆方向パケットデータチャンネルの送信電力対パイロットチャンネルの送信電力の比を示す
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記移動端末装置は、
前記基地局から伝送された情報テーブルを受信する受信部と、
前記受信された情報テーブルを貯蔵する第1のメモリと、
逆方向に伝送するデータを貯蔵する第2のメモリと、をさらに含み、
前記送信部は、前記第2のメモリに貯蔵されたデータを前記基地局に伝送する
ことを特徴とする請求項13記載の装置。 - 前記TPRはデータチャンネルと他のチャンネルにより獲得されることを特徴とする請求項13記載の装置。
- 前記情報テーブルは、初期通信の際にシグナリングチャンネルを通じて基地局から受信することを特徴とする請求項14記載の装置。
- 前記他のチャンネルは、パケットデータ制御チャンネル(PDCCH)及び/又は第2のパイロットチャンネル(SPICH)であることを特徴とする請求項15記載の装置。
