Description
【0001】
【0011】
オーディオ用のアプリケーションプログラムには、SMAF(Synthetic music Mobile Application Format),SMF(Standard MIDI File),SMDなどの音楽データファイルや、MP3(MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3),ATRAC(Adaptive Transform Acoustic Coding)3,AAC(Advanced Audio Coding)などの音声圧縮ファイルによるオーディオデータ再生機能が実装されている。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mobile communication device such as a mobile phone having an application program execution function.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, portable communication devices such as mobile phones equipped with application program execution functions such as Java (registered trademark: hereinafter referred to as “TM”) are known. In such a Java (TM) -equipped device, when an external event such as an incoming call or mail occurs during execution of the application program, the execution of the application program is interrupted. For example, the game is controlled to be ended or paused by receiving an e-mail while using the game application.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In a conventional Java (TM) -equipped mobile communication device, an application program can be made to be resident and executed during standby in order to improve the degree of user customization. By the way, the mobile phone is equipped with a so-called ring melody function that informs the user of an incoming call by playing a melody, but a higher-quality music file is played as music instead of only as a ring melody function. It is conceivable that a function to enjoy is installed. In this case, an audio application program for reproducing a music file is installed, and the music file is reproduced by executing the audio application program.
[0004]
By the way, when executing an application program for audio, it is necessary to terminate the application program that is resident and executed. For this reason, when listening to music, the application program that is resident and executed must be terminated, and then the application program for audio must be executed to shift to the music playback mode. In other words, there is a problem that the operation becomes complicated.
[0005]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a portable communication device that can be shifted to a music playback mode by a simple operation.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, the mobile communication device of the present invention is a resident application program that is resident and executed on a virtual machine environment installed on a mobile station platform or an audio application that is executed on the mobile station platform. An earphone jack capable of outputting a musical sound when the audio application program is executed and a musical sound is generated, the portable communication device being capable of executing any one of the programs; If the resident application program that is resident and executed is detected when it is detected that an earphone plug is attached to the earphone jack, the resident application program is terminated and the audio application program is terminated. Can be executed A state, if the resident application program is not running, and a control means adapted to maintain the state as it is possible to perform the audio application program.
[0007]
In the other portable communication device of the present invention, a memory card storing a music file that can be played back by the audio application program further includes a memory slot in which the memory card is detachably mounted. means, when the earphone to the earphone jack is detected to have been attached, it said with resident application program is running, if the memory card in the memory slot is detected as being attached, The resident application program may be terminated so that the audio application program can be executed .
[0008]
According to the present invention as described above, the resident program can be automatically terminated by using an operation necessary for music reproduction of inserting the earphone plug into the earphone jack as a trigger. For this reason, the operation of shifting to the music playback mode can be simplified. When playing music files stored on a memory card, the earphone plug is inserted into the earphone jack, and the resident program is automatically terminated when the memory card is installed. . For this reason, it becomes possible to continue the execution of the resident program except when music can be reproduced.
