Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a bookbinding kit for producing an original book that allows an individual to easily and inexpensively produce an original book having different contents according to his / her hobby.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Printed books such as books and magazines are usually consistently processed from specialized editing to bookbinding by specialized publishers. In the editing work, selection of materials, drafting and proofreading of manuscripts, photographs and illustrations, etc. Selection, assignment of manuscripts, photos, illustrations, creation and printing of block forms, etc. In bookbinding, the printed text is bound with thread, wire, adhesive, etc. and printed on this The appearance is arranged by using the cover, lookback, door, and the like.
[0003]
By the way, the functions of personal computers and printers have made great progress today, and digital video and digital cameras have emerged so that captured images can be easily imported into a personal computer for editing. Individual editing work can now be easily performed on a personal computer, and records of actual travel, weddings, child-rearing, hobbies (cooking, ikebana, gardening, etc.), picture books, novels, etc. Are created in a predetermined format or style and recorded as electronic information on a recording medium such as a video, floppy disk, CD-ROM, or MO.
[0004]
However, in such a recording method, in order to view the contents recorded on the recording medium as electronic information, a playback device for reproducing the electronic information into an image or sound, such as a video deck, a personal computer, a digital camera, etc. is indispensable. In addition, the specifications of these playback devices differ depending on the manufacturer. For example, there is a problem in versatility such that a recording medium produced by a personal computer of one manufacturer may not be played back by a personal computer of another manufacturer. However, technological progress in the field of information equipment is remarkable. For example, even if there is no special conversion software between computers of the same manufacturer or if the format is changed and copied to a new recording medium, the old computer will There is also a situation in which the produced recording medium cannot be reproduced on a new personal computer.
[0005]
For this reason, for example, even if you edit travel photos and travel reports on a computer and record them on a recording medium as electronic information, you may not be able to go to a close friend or relative to see them together. As time goes by, it may no longer be possible to reproduce and view it, and it is desirable to collect and book it as a booklet or original book so that it can be viewed casually anytime and anywhere. .
[0006]
However, a conventional bookbinding operation requires a complicated process and a high level of technology, and it is difficult for an individual to produce a printed material that is easily and inexpensively bound. For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-208,145 proposes a bookbinding kit and a method for creating an original book. In this bookbinding kit, a dealer who undertakes the completion of a picture book while the kit body 2 is in a semi-finished state. It is said that it will be finally completed at the dealer, and partly needs expert assistance.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, as a result of earnestly examining bookbinding kits that can be easily and inexpensively booked at home by individuals, the inventor has created a text set that is considered to be a difficult task in bookbinding. By applying so-called joint binding technology using a plurality of strip-shaped binding tapes having adhesive surfaces protected by a pair of release papers attached substantially parallel to each other in the direction, it can be easily created. As a result, the inventors have found that bookbinding can be performed easily and inexpensively without requiring a special apparatus or skilled technique, and the present invention has been completed.
[0008]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a bookbinding kit for producing an original book that allows an individual to easily and inexpensively produce an original book at home.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
That is, the present invention relates to a cover print paper on which a cover pattern, a title, and the like are drawn, a cover core material for a front cover, a back cover, and a back cover, and a plurality of text print papers on which the text is described. And a plurality of strip-like binding tapes having adhesive surfaces protected by a pair of release papers attached substantially parallel along the length direction, and a throat part of the text set that are attached to each other in a polymerized state And a plurality of pillows interposed between the binding tapes at a predetermined interval and adhered to each other, and the cover cores are arranged on the back surface of the cover print paper after the printing is finished with a predetermined interval. To form a cover member having a front cover portion, a back cover portion, and a back cover portion, and to attach each binding tape along the throat of each print paper for text after printing. when stuck between these respective binding tape together, each binding tape And interposed the pillow member at predetermined intervals by adjusting the thickness of the throat portion of the body set, a body set the text for printing paper is stapled openably formed, bonded to the polymer with one another A bookbinding kit for producing an original book , wherein bookbinding is performed by sandwiching and sticking a throat portion of a body set composed of a binding tape attached to a cover member.

In the present invention, as the cover print paper on which the cover pattern, title, etc. are drawn, it is preferable that characters and images can be printed by a normal home printer, such as normal paper print paper or Japanese paper. In addition, a special print paper made of a synthetic resin film may be used, but a print paper having an ink jet coat or laser print suitability on its surface is preferable, and it is particularly strong and has water resistance and abrasion resistance. It is preferable to use a special special paper such as a synthetic paper (single-sided) that is excellent in wearability. The front cover paper may be composed of a single print paper including the front cover portion, the back cover portion, and the back cover portion, but the printable size of the printer used is relatively In the case of a small size, for example, it may be divided into a plurality of sheets such as for front cover, for back cover, for back cover and the like.
[0011]
Also, the cover core material for the front cover, the back cover, and the back cover is not particularly limited as long as it is relatively thick and excellent in rigidity. For example, it is made of paper cardboard or synthetic resin. In addition, a plurality of back cover cores having different width dimensions may be prepared if necessary. Furthermore, the text print paper on which the text and the like are written is not particularly limited as long as it can print characters and images with a normal household printer. Ink-dedicated paper (both sides), which is a paper for exclusive use in cross-cutting that is suitable for double-fold seam binding, and two pages are printed in a two-page spread, with the back of the second page, the back of the third page, and the fourth page High-quality exclusive paper such as inkjet exclusive paper (single-sided paper) suitable for sticky leaf binding to be bonded to the back surface and the back surface of the fifth page is desirable.
[0012]
Furthermore, the band-shaped binding tape is used for binding the printed sheets for text after printing, and the width of the tape body is usually 10 to 40 mm, preferably about 15 to 35 mm. It has an adhesive surface protected by a pair of release papers attached substantially parallel to the length direction of the tape body. The adhesive surface provided on the binding tape may be provided only on one side of the tape main body, or may be provided on both front and back surfaces, and further provided on one or both surfaces of the tape main body. Alternatively, it may be divided into two or four bonding surfaces at predetermined intervals along the left and right edges of one or both sides. The type of adhesive surface to be provided on the binding tape is determined by how the throat portion of the text set composed of the binding tapes that are pasted together is formed when the text set is completed. For example, in order to form a part that can be easily bent by exposing a part of each binding tape between the throat part and the text part of the text set, the adhesive surface is formed on the left and right edges of one side of the tape body. It is preferable to provide a predetermined distance along each other.
[0013]
Further, in the present invention, a pair of facing sheets that are attached to the inner surface side of the cover core material for the front cover and the back cover of the cover member and are also attached to the text set side, preferably the throat of the text set The cover member and the body set may be attached to each other through this pair of facing sheets, so that the inner surface of the front cover and the back cover can be finished beautifully. The sticking operation between the cover member and the text set can be performed more easily and reliably. The facing paper is not limited to paper, but may be a tough, synthetic resin film or synthetic paper that is excellent in water resistance and abrasion resistance.
[0014]
Furthermore, in the present invention, a pair of square cloths to be attached to the top and bottom of the throat of the text set may be prepared, and this square cloth may be attached to the top and bottom of the throat of the text set. As a result, the top and bottom portions can be covered and protected, and the throat portion of the text set formed by overlapping the binding tapes can not be seen from the outside, so that the bookbinding can be finished neatly.
[0015]
Furthermore, in the present invention, a plurality of pillows are prepared that are attached to each other at a predetermined interval between the binding tapes that are attached to each other in a polymerized state and constitute the throat portion of the text set. It may be possible to adjust the thickness of the throat of the text set by using a pillow material, so that when the thickness of the throat of the text set is thinner than the thickness of the text part in an ankle binding, The booklet can be bound beautifully by adjusting the thickness of the throat of this body set. There is no particular limitation on this pillow material as long as it is relatively thick and excellent in rigidity, as in the case of the cover core material. For example, a paper cardboard or a synthetic resin sheet is used. be able to.
[0016]
In the present invention, the cover core material for the front cover, the back cover, and the back cover is the cover print paper, and the pair of facing sheets prepared as necessary are the front cover and the back cover. On the core material side and the text set side, a pair of square cloths are attached to the top and bottom portions of the throat of the text set, and a plurality of pillow materials are attached between predetermined binding tapes. And, for the adhesive that sticks between them, it may be applied to the parts that are bonded to each other during the bookbinding operation, but preferably, each of these cover cores, each facing paper, each square cloth, In addition, it is desirable to provide an adhesive surface to which an adhesive has been applied in advance at an adhesive portion of each pillow material, more preferably an adhesive portion, and protect the adhesive surface with release paper. In this way, by providing an adhesive surface protected with release paper on each cover core, each facing paper, each square cloth, and each pillow material, more adhesive than necessary is attached to the adhesive part. The bookbinding operation can be easily and reliably performed without causing the adhesive to adhere to unnecessary portions other than the bonded portion and causing dirt.
[0017]
For example, for the front cover and the back cover, the front and back cover cores are provided with one or two adhesive surfaces along the inner edge and one adhesive surface along the outer edge on the front side. At the same time, an adhesive surface is formed along the upper edge, the lower edge, and the outer edge on the back surface side, and for the cover core material for the back cover, the entire front surface side and the upper and lower surfaces on the back surface side The adhesive surface is formed on each of the cover cores, and the cover sheet is pasted on the front side of the cover sheet, and the periphery of the cover sheet can be folded and pasted on the back side of each cover sheet. To do.
[0018]
In addition, for each facing paper, for example, an adhesive surface may be provided on the entire surface of the cover member on the inner surface side of the cover core material for the front cover or the back cover. The adhesive surface may be provided only on the inner edge, the inner edge, the central portion, and the outer edge may be provided with an adhesive surface, respectively. In addition, an adhesive surface may be provided on the portion corresponding to the throat portion of the body set, and the portion corresponding to the outer surface of the body set formed by the body print paper may correspond to the inner surface side of the cover core material. Similarly, a suitable adhesive surface may be provided.
[0019]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described based on examples shown in the accompanying drawings.
[0020]
FIG. 1 shows a partially exploded perspective view of an original book produced by a bookbinding kit for folding a two-fold joint according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 shows a set of each part.
[0021]
The bookbinding kit of this example is a tough, water-resistant and abrasion-resistant synthetic paper for exclusive use of ink jet (one side), and includes four sheets including a front cover, a back cover, a back cover, and a spare. Front cover print paper 3, a pair of front cover cores 4 and 5 for the front cover and the back cover formed of relatively thick cardboard, and one small width dimension for the back cover (in FIG. 2) Is a cover core material 6 of the outer surface side and the inner surface side separately) and ink jet dedicated paper (both sides), which is a paper for exclusive use in horizontal cutting, and is folded in half to print four pages in one sheet , A plurality of (5 in FIG. 2) body print papers 7 prepared according to the number of pages of the body text and the length of the body print paper 7 in the width direction, and the length A pair of release papers 8b, 8c, which are attached substantially parallel along the length direction It is formed of the same number of belt-like binding tapes 8 as the main body print paper 7 and a strong pattern paper folded in half, and has the cover surface 8a. , 6 and a pair of facing sheets 9 connecting the body set 2 formed by the body print paper 7 and the binding tape 8, and the throat portion of the body set 2 An appropriate number of pillows (three in FIG. 2) that are formed of a pair of square cloth 10 and a relatively thick cardboard to adjust the thickness of the throat of the body set 2 It consists of 11 and.
[0022]
In this embodiment, the cover cores 4 and 5 for the front cover and the back cover, the cover core 6 for the back cover, the pair of facing sheets 9, the pair of square cloths 10, and the three pillows 11 Are provided with adhesive surfaces 4a, 5a, 6a, 9a, 10a, 11a, each of which is pre-applied with an adhesive, and these adhesive surfaces 4a, 5a, 6a, 9a, 10a, 11a Release papers 4b, 5b, 6b, 9b, 10b, and 11b are attached to protect the adhesive surfaces 4a, 5a, 6a, 9a, 10a, and 11a, respectively.
[0023]
That is, in this embodiment, the cover cores 4 and 5 for the front cover and the back cover are formed in the same size as each other, and on the surface which becomes the outer surface side (the cover side) when binding is performed. Are provided with adhesive strips 4a and 5a protected by two strips 4b and 5b at predetermined intervals along the inner edge and one strip 4b and 5b along the outer border. Protective adhesive surfaces 4a and 5a are provided, and the back cover print paper 3 is adhered to the adhesive surface 4a on the inner edge side (closer to the outer side of the inner edge), and the other inner edge side (closer to the inner edge side center) and The cover paper 4 for the front cover is attached to the adhesive surfaces 4a and 5a on the outer edge side. Further, the upper edge is provided on the inner surface side (return side) when the book is bound. Adhesive surfaces 4a and 5a protected by release papers 4b and 5b, respectively, are provided along the lower edge and the outer edge. 9 is attached. The front and back cover cores 4 and 5 are used upside down depending on whether left-bound binding or right-bound binding.
[0024]
Further, the cover core 6 for the back cover is provided with an adhesive surface 6a protected by a release paper 6b on the entire outer surface side, and protected by a release paper 6b on the upper and lower sides on the inner surface side. An adhesive surface 6a is provided.
Further, in this embodiment, each facing sheet 9 is provided with an inner edge and a central portion on the portion of the cover member 1 attached to the inner surface side of the front cover core material 4 or 5 for the front cover or the back cover. In addition, an adhesive surface 9a is provided on each of the outer edges, and an adhesive surface 9a is provided on a portion corresponding to the throat of the text set 2 on the text set 2 side.
[0025]
Therefore, in order to edit, for example, “Travel” using the bookbinding kit of this embodiment, the entire story is first determined and the contents such as sentences and photographs to be included in each page are envisioned. Further, for example, page allocation is performed using a table layout sheet 12 as shown in FIG. 3, and contents such as “travel” are printed on each print paper 7 by the printer 13 according to this page allocation as shown in FIG. To do.
[0026]
Then, after printing is completed in this way, as shown in FIG. 5, each of the main body print papers 7 is folded in half, and one of the release papers 8b of the binding tape 8 is peeled off to expose one adhesive surface 8a. Affixed to the throat portion of each of the two folded body-printed papers 7. Further, for example, the first, third, and fifth body-printed papers 7 were adhered to the throat portion. The release paper 8c of the binding tape 8 is peeled off and the surface opposite to the adhesive surface 11a of the pillow material 11 is adhered, and when the text set 2 is formed, the thickness of the text portion and the binding tape 8 are in a polymerized state. It is adjusted so that the thickness of the throat of the text set 1 formed by sticking is balanced, and then the remaining release paper 8c of the binding tape 8 and the release paper 11b of the pillow 11 are peeled off, and the whole text The printed papers 7 for the main text are overlapped on the adhesive surfaces 8a, 11a, 8a, 8a, 11a so that the portions do not shift. Then, the binding between each binding tape 8 and each pillow 11 is completed to complete the text set 2. Here, when binding the printed paper 7 for text, for example, as shown by reference numeral 7a in FIG. 5, the binding tape 8 is stuck with the outer edge of the folded printed paper 7 for text 7 as the throat. Thus, a page portion that is twice as wide may be created, and information that is not suitable for being divided into a plurality of parts, such as a large map, may be recorded there.
[0027]
In the completed text set 2, as shown in FIG. 6, a square cloth 10 is then attached to the top and bottom of the throat, and when the bookbinding is completed with the square cloth 10, the throat of the text set 2 The blindness of the unevenness that occurs in the top and bottom and the exposure of the pillow 11 to the top and bottom are hidden.
After sticking the square cloth 10 to the top and bottom of the throat of the text set 2 in this way, the text set 2 is turned back on the front side and the back side of the throat as shown in FIG. A sheet 9 is attached. At this time, the throat portion of the text set 2 and the adhesive surface 9a on the text set 2 side of the facing sheet 9 corresponding to the throat portion of the text set 2 are strongly pressed and adhered sufficiently firmly.
[0028]
After the body set 2 side is completed, the cover member 1 is manufactured next.
First, using the printer 13, as shown in FIG. 4, print the patterns, designs, titles, author names, etc. corresponding to the front cover, back cover, and back cover print paper 3 respectively. As shown in FIG. 8, each is cut into a predetermined size to produce a front cover print paper 3a, a back cover print paper 3c, and a back cover print paper 3b.
[0029]
Next, as shown in FIG. 9, on the inner side of each front cover print paper 3a, back cover print paper 3c, and back cover print paper 3b produced in this way, The cover cores 4, 6 and 5 for the back cover and the back cover are attached by the adhesive surfaces 4a, 6a and 5a provided on the outer surface side, and the cover cores 4, 6 and 5 are attached. The attached front cover print paper 3a, back cover print paper 3c, and back cover print paper 3b, in the case of left-bound binding, the front cover print paper 3a, the back cover print paper 3c, 10 and the back cover print paper 3b (in the case of right-bound binding, from left to right, the back cover print paper 3b, the back cover print paper 3c, and the front cover print paper 3a), respectively, are shown in FIG. After cutting the corners of the front cover print paper 3a and the back cover print paper 3b, The upper edge, lower edge, and outer edge of each of the front cover print paper 3a and the back cover print paper 3b are folded back to cover the front cover and the back cover, respectively. Affixed to the adhesive surfaces 4a and 5a provided on the inner surface side (turned side) of the back cover, and the upper and lower edges of the back cover printed paper 3c are folded back, respectively, for the front cover, for the back cover, and A cover member 1 is completed by adhering with the adhesive surfaces 4a, 6a, and 5a provided on the inner surfaces of the front cover cores 4, 6 and 5 for the back cover.
[0030]
After the cover member 1 is completed in this way, as shown in FIG. 11, the body set 2 with the facing paper 9 attached is arranged at a predetermined position on the inner surface side of the cover member 1, and the cover cover print paper 3a and the back cover printed paper 3b are attached between the inner surface side (reversed side) of each cover core 4 and 5 and each facing sheet 9 by the adhesive surface 9a provided on the facing sheet 9, As shown in FIG. 12, bookbinding is completed.
[0031]
Therefore, according to the bookbinding kit of this embodiment, the printer necessary for printing the contents such as “travel book” on the print paper 7 for text and printing the cover pattern, title, etc. on the print paper 3 for cover. 13 and a cutter or scissors for cutting the front cover print paper 3a, the back cover print paper 3c, and the back cover print paper 3b by cutting the printed front cover print paper 3 into a predetermined size. Create an original book easily, inexpensively, and beautifully, without the need for difficult-to-handle adhesives, just by using a ruler or paper scissors if necessary. be able to.
