本発明はボルトの軸部の振れや雌ねじと締結入口穴との穴ずれによる、首下R部の締結入口穴への干渉等による締付け不良対策に関するものである。

従来より、ボルトの首下軸部が締結入口穴よりクリアランスを大きくすると軸振れが起き易く、また雌ねじと締結入口穴との穴ずれがあると、ボルトの首下R部と締結入口穴とが干渉し、そのまま締付けると、ある期間経過後に振動等でR部が外れたり、軸振れが小さくなったりするとボルトのゆるみが発生し、締付け不良となることがある。そのために座金を組込んだり、塑性加工で首下軸部に予め円柱部を設けて、首下R部を切削で結び入れ加工をして取除いたり、或は締結穴の入口を大きくしたりして、軸振れや穴ずれ等の首下R部と締結入口穴との干渉を防いでいた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、座金組込みや切削結び入れ加工はコスト高であり、また締結穴を大きくする方法は、ボルトの座面との接触面積が小さくなり、へたりや陥没が発生したり、ボルトの軸振れも発生し易くなるので、締付け不良になる可能性があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するための手段として、ボルトの頭部(1)首下R部(2)のすぐ下側に、首下Rの上部径(21)より若干小さい径から若干大きい径の円柱部(3)を設け、円柱部(3)の下側にはねじ谷径と同じか、若干大きい径のくぼみ巾部(4)があり、その下に有効径軸部(5)があって締結ねじ部(6)が形成されている。首下R(2)のすぐ下の円柱部(3)とくぼみ巾部(4)は転造絞りダイス(7)で有効径軸部(5)の上部を絞り加工して形成し、同時に締結ねじ部(6)も転造ダイス(9)で形成することが望ましい。本発明は、以上の構成よりなるボルトである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態について説明する。
本発明の一実施形態によるボルトを図1に示す。図1に示すボルトは、ボルトの頭部(1)首下R部(2)のすぐ下側に、首下Rの上部径(21)より若干小さい径から若干大きい径の円柱部(3)を設ける。望ましくは上部径(21)より若干大きい径の方が良いが、若干小さくても効果はある。円柱部の巾は1mm〜10mmくらいで望ましくは2mmとする。円柱部(3)の下側にはねじ谷径と同じか、若干大きい径のくぼみ巾部(4)があり、望ましくは谷径より若干大きくする。くぼみ巾部の巾は1.5mm〜12mmくらいで望ましくは2.5mmとする。その下に有効径軸部(5)があって締結ねじ部(6)が形成されている。尚、ボルト首下と円柱部の間は2mm以下で望ましくは1mmとする。製造方法としては図5及び図6で示すとうり、ボルトの首下が首下R部(2)と有効径軸部(5)とからなる冷間塑性加工品(12)を、転造絞りダイス(7)で有効径軸部(5)の上部を絞り加工して、首下R(2)のすぐ下に円柱部(3)とくぼみ巾部(4)を形成し、同時に転造ダイス(9)で締結ねじ部(6)を形成する。このようにして製造された該ボルト(11)は、首下R(2)の上部径(21)より若干小さい径から若干大きい径で円柱部(3)が形成されているので、首下R部(2)と締結入口穴との干渉はほとんどなく、また締結入口穴と円柱部(3)のクリアランスも少なくなるので、軸振れもなくなり、締付け不良が効果的に防止できる。また転造での同時加工なのでコストも低減できる。
