【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ケースC内の収納物を取り出す際には、図5(A)の位置にある扉1の一方を同図(B)のようにスライド移動させて取出口を開く。このとき、一方の扉1の端縁1aが、もう一方の扉1に取り付けた把手2に当接するように設定されていることが多い。このため従来、勢いよく扉1を開けたときの衝撃力により、あるいは把手2と扉1との衝突が反復して行われることにより、扉1のガラス割れを招いたり、図6のように扉1の端縁1aを一部欠損又は破損させたり、さらには図7のように把手2を変形させたりするという問題がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は前記従来の問題を解決できる把手構造を提供するものである。本発明に係る把手の特徴とするところは、ケースの取出口に設けられる引き違い構造の扉に取り付けられる把手であって、該把手は、扉の端縁部に装着される基部と、該基部に突設された把持部とを備え、該把手における他の扉の端縁が面する領域であって、該把手基部の長手方向の両端部付近に、扉を開いたときに上記他の扉の端縁が当接して摺動し得る緩衝面を局所的に形成したことにある。
かかる構成により、扉を開いた際、他の扉の端縁は把手に形成した緩衝面に当接して摺動することになるから、把手に対する衝撃が緩和される。その結果、扉のガラス割れや端縁の破損、把手の変形等の諸問題を防止することができる。

衝面を形成する部位は、把手における他の扉の端縁が面する領域の全体ではなく、局所的に形成した方が好ましい。その理由は、把手の全長に渡って扉の端縁が当接する緩衝面を形成すると、扉を開けたときに把手と接触する面積が広くなるため、扉端縁及び把手の双方ともに衝撃を確実に受けるおそれがある。これに対し、緩衝面を局所的に(例えば把手の両端部にのみ)形成することにより、把手と扉端縁との接触面積を少なくでき、それだけ摩擦力も減らせるので、扉が把手に衝突したときに扉端縁が緩衝面に沿って摺動し易くなり、衝撃の緩和が確実になるからである

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、本発明に係る把手10の一実施形態を示すものである。当該把手10は、ガラス板等よりなる扉1に装着されるものであって、扉端縁部1bに外嵌される基部11と、この基部11から扉1の表面側へ突出するように形成された把持部12とから成っている。基部11は、扉1の端縁部1bを挿入させるための嵌合スリット13を基端側に有し、先端領域14は先細りのテーパ形状に形成されている。
本発明の把手10の製造材料は特に制限されないが、合成樹脂や、金属,セラミック等が用いられ、食品保存用のケースの扉に装着される場合は、抗菌剤を配合した合成樹脂を用いたり、抗菌性金属で製作したりすることも可能である。

本例では、本発明の特徴である緩衝面15を、凹曲面より成るものとした。当該緩衝面15は、基部11の基端面11aから把持部12にかけて形成されている。かかる構成により、図1(B)に示す如く、取出口を開くため一方の扉1を移動させた際、扉1の端縁1aは把手10の緩衝面15に当接して摺動する。従って、扉1を勢いよく把手10に衝突させた場合でも、扉端縁1aが緩衝面15に沿って摺動しようとすることにより衝撃が緩和され、扉1及び把手10の破損及び変形を防ぐことができる。なお、スライド自在になされている扉1は、通常その全体が上下のレールで規制されているので、扉端縁1aが緩衝面15上を摺動したときに、扉1が脱落するおそれはない。

この場合、両端の緩衝面15,15の間に設けられる凹部16のさらにその底面を、湾曲面とすることが望ましい。これは、把持部12の根元部分にはゴミが溜まったり汚れが付着したりし易いが、本例の如く把持部12の根元を湾曲面としておくことにより、清掃を簡単にできるという利点が得られるからである。
従来の把手(図5参照)は、基部の基端面から把持部が連続して立ち上がっている構造であったため、扉1と把手2の嵌合部分にゴミや汚れが溜まり易く、しかも、この部分の清掃が難しいという欠点があった。

さらに図3に示す如く、ケースの扉1が、裏面側において把手10と当接するよう構成されている場合は、把手10に扉1の裏面側へ突出する凹曲面等より成る緩衝面17を形成することも可能である。
