ストレスの多い現代社会において、香りが癒しを促進する一つの材料として注目され、芳香を生活や仕事の場において生かすことが課題となっている。
従来芳香剤を利用する方法として、例えば香水やコロンを皮膚に付着させたり、スプレーで衣類に付着させたりしていた。
制御型芳香出力装置について、特許文献1には、所定の制御信号に基づいて、香料の放出を行う制御型芳香出力装置において、香料を格納する香料格納手段と、前記香料格納手段に格納されている香料を取り出して空気中に放出する香料放出手段と、前記所定の制御信号に基づいて、前記香料放出手段を制御して、香料の放出を行う制御手段と、を備えたことを特徴とする制御型芳香出力装置について記載されている。
しかし、この制御型芳香出力装置が筆記用具に適用できることを示唆する記載はない。

本発明は、仕事や勉強における最も身近な道具である筆記具が、芳香を必要とするときに芳香を発する、自由に制御し得る制御機能を有する芳香型筆記具を提供することを目的とする。

本発明の第1は、筆記具における筆記部の上側に芳香発生部を設け、前記芳香発生部は、芳香放出可能とした芳香保管部、ファン、ファンに結合した駆動部、駆動部を駆動せしめる電池部、駆動部と電池部間の回路に設けられた回路開閉部およびファンの回転により発生した芳香を外部に放出する放出孔を有することを特徴とする芳香型筆記具に関する。

香料としては、例えば、バラ、菊、百合、梅等の花の香や、檜の香、杉の香、松の香、桜の香等の樹木の香等を用いることができる。1つの香料収納容器には、液状の香料化合物や揮発性溶剤に溶かした単一の香料化合物を入れることもできるが、複数の香料化合物をブレンドした香料組成物を入れることもできる。
香料収納容器に入れる香料は、液状、ペースト状、固体状、など任意であるし、香料成分を織布、不織布など繊維状物質に含浸または吸着させた形でも良い。

香料収納容器として固体金属からなる容器を用いることができる。芳香発生時に、通電による加熱機構を有していることが好ましい。例えば、開閉器がオンの状態にあるとき、または、制御器よりの情報に基づいて、所定時間加熱するヒート線を固体金属からなる容器の外側にコイル状に巻いておくことにより、容易に加熱することができる容器が好ましい。

多孔質物質としては、多孔性金属、多孔性合成樹脂等がある。
多孔性金属としては、アルミナ、シリカアルミナのほか、ステンレス、Co−Cr合金、TiおよびTi合金の焼結体がある。
多孔性合成樹脂としては、ポリウレタンフォーム、ポリイミドフォーム、ポリエチレンフォーム等があり、又、重合体中の溶剤除去法によって得られた多孔質体がある。これら多孔質体は連通気泡を有するものが好ましい。
芳香保管部4は、複数の芳香保管部によって形成することができる。その場合、香料の選択が可能なように、例えば、制御部からの信号に基づいて、特定の芳香保管部を選択的に加熱、放香するようにしても良い。
