本発明は、熱湯を注げば短時間で出来上る軽食用の即席麺や即席スープ等の容器の蓋に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
熱湯により復元して食用に供される従来の即席麺等の容器は、プラスチックより成形した保温性の良いコップ状のものが多く、その開口面は、製品使用前は通常、その縁に接着した円形の扁平蓋により覆われている。
その蓋材は一般に、上質紙にポリエチレン等の層及びアルミニウム箔、さらにヒートシール層等を重ねた肉厚100μm前後のものが多い。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記の即席麺を食するには、先ず開口面を覆っている蓋材の半分近くを剥がして所要量の熱湯を注いだ後、乾燥食品が軟化する時間だけ蓋を閉じて置く必要がある。
しかるにその間、容器内に充満した蒸気熱のため従来の扁平蓋は、基材の上質紙の熱収縮により蓋が外側に反り返るため適宜の重しにより蓋を押さえなければならない煩わしさがあった。

従ってこれを避けるため、蓋が自動的に閉じるように、従来の紙、金属箔等の下に熱収縮のより大きいフィルムを設けるものがある(実開昭58−133574)が、これは注湯が遅すぎたり、又は中断したときには途中で蓋が自動的に閉じて、そのまゝ湯を注ぐと蓋の上で跳ね返って容器外にこぼれる危険がある。
その改善策として注湯中の蓋を押さえる係止部を蓋に設けたもの(特願平3−88733)等があるが、いずれも閉じた後に蓋が波を打ち、容器の縁との間に隙間が生じて蒸気が漏れ熱湯の温度を下げ、所期の効果が得られない欠点がある。

また、特殊基材層を設けた積層蓋がバイメタル効果の相殺により注湯中は蓋が開き、注湯後は蓋が閉じる動作を行う旨を述べたものがある(特願平5−305976)が、これは注湯後に蓋を閉じるにはバイメタル効果が働く間手を添える動作を必要とする煩わしさがあり、また、他の扁平蓋と同様、湯を多めに入れた場合には膨張した麺や具が、図3に示すように、蓋を押し上げて同じく容器との間の隙間を生じ易い。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、コップ状容器の開口面を覆って周縁を接着した蓋を、容器内に向って凹んだ逆円錐状に形成すると共に、その凹面中央部につまみ片を固着し、注湯後これを上方向に引っぱることにより蓋を正円錐状に反転させるようにしたものである。
これにより、注湯中には、逆円錐状蓋の開いた一部がさらに開く方向にバイメタル効果が働くから蓋が閉じることがなく、注湯後、蓋を反転させて頂点が上方向に向いた正三角錐状とした蓋は、原形保持力が働いて容器開口面の周縁上に密接する。

【発明の実施の形態】
実施例によって本発明を詳述する。

すなわち、コップ状容器10には、乾燥即席麺40を容れてあり、その開口面の縁12には、図1(A)に示すように、円錐状蓋20の周縁21を、該円錐状蓋が頂点を容器内方向に向けて凹んだ逆三角錐状となるように接着してある。
容器10は、ポリスチレンペーパー等をコップ状に成形した肉厚2mm程度の保温性に富むものを用いる。

なお、蓋材は、一般の即席麺の蓋と同様の素材を用いる。すなわち、基材の上質紙に適宜の接着剤層及びアルミニウム箔層、さらにヒートシール層等を重ねた肉厚200μm前後としたもので、図1(D)に示すように、容器開口面の縁12に熱接着可能なものを用いるが、これに限らず紙その他、プレスにより錐形蓋成形可能な材質であれば何でもよい。
なお、蓋を円錐状に形成するには、図1(E)に示すように、円形の蓋材の1本の半径に沿った扇形部分(21)を折り重ねる。

以上のように構成した本発明蓋を装着したコップ状容器の即席麺等を食するには、図2(1)〜(4)に示すように、蓋周縁のつまみ部22を以て蓋10を半分程度捲り上げて熱湯を注いだ後、蓋20を閉じ、次に、蓋20中心のつまみ片30を上方向に引き上げると、蓋20は反転して中心先端が上方を向いた正円錐状となって蓋周縁は容器の開口縁に密接する。

さらに、本発明における円錐形乃至角錐形蓋の形成は、上記実施例のように、蓋材の一部の折り重ねに依ることなく、蓋材の一部を切り欠き、残り部分の相対縁同士を接着剤を以て繋ぐことに依っても可能なこと勿論である。

さらに、各蓋の形状は、頂点近辺をやや凹状とし、あるいは、折り目模様を付ける等をし、また、蓋と容器縁との接着位置をずらして注湯後の蓋と容器との圧接力を増す等種々の変形が考えられるが、それらは総て本発明の範囲に含まれるものである。
【発明の効果】
以上のように、本発明は、軽食用乾燥食品を収納したコップ状容器に対して、上質紙と金属箔を含む多層の円錐状蓋又は角錐状蓋を頂点が容器内方向に向くよう倒立状に接着しているから、錐形の力学的特性により、注湯のためその側面の一部を開口することは容易であると共に、注湯中は蓋が開く方向にバイメタル効果が働いて閉じることがないから蓋上に注湯して熱湯がこぼれる危険がなく、また、注湯後、反転させて頂点を上方向に向けて正三角錐状とした時の蓋は、原形保持力を維持して容器開口面の周縁上に密接するから、従来の平面状蓋のように、反り返って空気が入り容器中の温度が下がるのを防ぐために重しを乗せる煩わしさがなく、取り扱いきわめて便利であり、また、注湯後、反転により正円錐又は正角錐状となった蓋は、多めの注湯時にも湯面との間に充分な空間を保つから膨張した食品により押し上げられて容器との間に隙間を生じることがない。
