Description
The present invention relates to an autonomous mobile system in which a plurality of autonomous mobile devices move autonomously and operate in order to perform transportation, security, and the like.
Conventionally, with regard to the control of autonomous mobile devices, a technology is known in which the operation area of the autonomous mobile device is divided into blocks and the concept of nodes is introduced to generate a movement route to operate the autonomous mobile device. It does not perform control when a plurality of autonomous mobile devices move (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
However, the technique shown in

In addition, since a node, which is a basic and clear concept for the system, is used as a standby place, the system configuration is simplified.
Hereinafter, the autonomous mobile system of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a block configuration of an autonomous

Each autonomous
The above-described autonomous traveling means 3 will be described. The autonomous traveling means 3 recognizes obstacles and self-location, storage means 31 for storing map information of a traveling area and various parameters for traveling, route generating means 32 for generating a traveling route to a destination, and the like. Information obtained by the environment information acquisition means 33, the travel control means 34 for controlling the travel means 35 using the
In addition to controlling each unit in the
The environment
As self-location information obtained from the environment information acquisition means 33, for example, a sign that can be recognized by the environment information acquisition means 33 is set in advance in the driving environment, and the sign is registered in the map information. The sign can be recognized while traveling and used as self-position information. The traveling control means 34 searches for a registered sign on the map based on the sign position information based on the relative position sent with reference to its estimated position. When a sign is detected, self-position recognition can be performed from the relative position information with reference to the position of the sign. If two or more labels can be detected, the self-position is uniquely determined.
Further, the environment information acquisition means 33 detects an obstacle during traveling and sends its position information to the traveling control means 34. The traveling control means 34 corrects the traveling route so as to avoid the obstacle and outputs a control output. Is sent to the traveling means 35. In this way, the autonomous
The above-described
(Autonomous movement)
FIG. 2 shows the movement status of routes, intersections, and autonomous mobile devices in the autonomous
Here, an outline of autonomous movement will be described. When the autonomous
The above extraction and determination are performed based on the device information stored in the device
FIG. 3 shows a flow of processing and actions that each autonomous
In this way, when the autonomous mobile device A reaches the node or is on standby (Yes in S2), the autonomous mobile device A performs the following processing and determination before heading to the next node. The autonomous mobile device A uses the target device extraction means 6 to extract the active autonomous
If there is an autonomous
When the above-mentioned intersection position is obtained, the time determination means 7 refers again to the device information of the self and the other autonomous
Here, first, a description will be given of a determination process based on a mathematical expression as to whether or not routes intersect. Returning to FIG. 2, it is determined by calculation whether or not the route b → g of the autonomous mobile device A and the route c → f of the autonomous mobile device B intersect (in the state shown in FIG. 2). The orthogonal coordinate axes are defined as the operation area of the autonomous mobile system, and the coordinates of the nodes b, g, c, and f are (Xb, Yb), (Xg, Yg), (Xc, Yc), and (Xf, Yf). Further, the equation of the straight line passing through the nodes b and g is Y = B · X + G, and the equation of the straight line passing through the nodes c and f is Y = C · X + F. The coordinates of the intersection of the route are not only the coordinates (x, y) of the intersection of the straight lines represented by these equations, but also the coordinates (x, y) of the intersection between the nodes b and g, and , Between nodes c and f. In other words, if there are no coordinates of the intersection of the two straight lines between these nodes, the “route” does not intersect.
Then, the coordinates (x, y) of the intersection are between the nodes, and therefore the condition that the “route” intersects is (Yc−B · Xc−G) (Yf−B · Xf−G) <0 and ( Yb-C.Xb-F) (Yg-C.Xg-F) <0. The previous inequality is divided into both sides of a straight line passing through the nodes b and g, and there are nodes c and f. The latter inequality is divided into both sides of the straight line passing through the nodes c and f, and there are nodes b and g. Represents. More directly expressing that the coordinates (x, y) of the intersection of two straight lines are between the nodes, (Xb−x) (Xg−x) <0 and (Yb−y) (Yg− y) <0, and (Xc−x) (Xf−x) <0, and (Yc−y) (Yf−y) <0. The intersection of the “route” can be determined using the inequality described above or the inequality shown here.
Calculation of the difference in distance or time to reach the route intersection between the autonomous mobile device A and the autonomous
Furthermore, for the autonomous mobile device A and the autonomous
Next, in step S9, the movement determination means 8 compares the time difference ΔT (or distance difference ΔL) with a predetermined value, and the time difference ΔT (or distance difference ΔL) is stored in advance in the storage unit of the movement determination means 8. When it is smaller than the stored predetermined value (Yes in S9), the process of the time difference determination loop LP1 / LP2 is exited, and the autonomous mobile device A stops and stands by at the currently reached node, and performs other autonomous It waits for the moving
If it is determined in step S9 that the time difference ΔT (distance difference ΔL) is not smaller than the predetermined value (No in S9), the processing of the time difference determination loop LP1 / LP2 is continued. When there are a plurality (n) of autonomous
In the above description, when the difference (or distance difference) between the arrival times is smaller than the predetermined value, the autonomous mobile device A waits. However, in a more general situation, a criterion for determining which of the plurality of autonomous
In step S11 described above, the autonomous mobile device A is “standby (stops at the node)”. However, as an action of the autonomous mobile device A, in addition to such standby, a predetermined distance from the intersection. Take action such as moving to the previous position and stopping, if there is a predetermined temporary node, going to that temporary node, if there is a predetermined standby position, going to that standby position, or changing the route Yes (described later).
FIG. 4 shows a flow of processes and actions that the autonomous
In this way, when the autonomous mobile device A reaches the node or is on standby (Yes in S24), the autonomous mobile device A sets the comparison target stored in step S36 described later before heading to the next node. the ID of the autonomous mobile device will be erased (S26). Thereafter, processing such as whether or not the intersection of the route with another autonomous
Next, in step S32, when the movement determination means 8 determines that the time difference ΔT (or distance difference ΔL) is smaller than a predetermined value (Yes in S32), the autonomous mobile device A compares it with its own priority. When the priority of the target autonomous mobile device is compared, and the priority of the self is low (Yes in S35), the process of the time difference determination loop LP21 / LP22 is exited, and the currently reached node is stopped and waited. It waits for another autonomous
If it is determined in step S32 that the time difference ΔT (distance difference ΔL) is not smaller than the predetermined value (No in S32), the processing of the time difference determination loop LP21 / LP22 is continued. The autonomous mobile device A transmits a standby command to all the autonomous

Each autonomous
The central
(Autonomous movement)
Autonomous movement in the integrated
Therefore, the kth autonomous
In this way, the central
In addition, when the operation area in the system is divided into predetermined areas, and which node belongs to which area is set in advance, the central
In addition, when the maximum number of autonomous mobile devices that can enter each area described above is set and the new autonomous
(Route and node)
Next, a route and a node will be described with reference to FIGS. The contents described here are common to both the distributed and integrated autonomous
FIG. 8 shows a situation in which whether or not the target
(Standby position)
Next, the standby position will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 9 shows a situation in which standby places are set as standby positions P1 to P4 separately from the nodes around the route. In this figure, while the autonomous
Further, when a standby position, for example, standby positions P1 and P3, which are within a range of distances set and stored in advance, is extracted from the position of the autonomous
As shown in FIG. 10, the standby position described above can be set to the end position of the intersection of the route. The standby position P5 is provided on an end position, that is, on a path that intersects the circle R2 having a predetermined radius r from the intersection X. As the predetermined radius r, a radius obtained by r = (circumscribed circle of the autonomous mobile device 2) × 2 + (predetermined positive value) can be used. When such a radius r is used, the autonomous
Further, the node on the near side of the route crossing the standby position, for example, the autonomous
FIGS. 11 (a) and 11 (b) show a situation where the overlapping paths approach each other and move closer to each other. That is, in FIG. 11A, the autonomous
FIGS. 12A and 12B show a situation in which the overlapping paths are moved closer to each other in the same manner as described above. As shown in FIG. 12 (a), the autonomous
(Division of operating area)
An example in which the operation area of the autonomous
The above-mentioned
In this situation, the autonomous
As described above, the operation area is divided into areas A2 to A6 and dedicated
FIG. 15 shows another example of the distributed autonomous
Under this situation, the autonomous
In addition, the means related to various calculations and storage in the autonomous mobile system described above is a process or function on an electronic computer having a general configuration such as a CPU, a memory, an external storage device, a display device, and an input device.
