Description

【0001】

[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a video input device according to the present invention includes a video input terminal plate that can detect whether or not a terminal is connected to the video input terminal, and a video signal that can freely switch a video signal input to the video input terminal. A switching device, a synchronization signal detection circuit that is connected to the video signal switching device and detects the presence or absence of a synchronization signal of the video signal, and a non-reproducible noise signal can be detected by differentiating the video signal connected to the video signal switching device Using a noise signal detection circuit and a microcomputer capable of comprehensively recognizing such information, it is automatically determined which input system is currently connected to a terminal and which video equipment is turned on in that terminal. Are stored in a microcomputer in a matrix.
[0006]
The microcomputer displays the state on-screen and indicates to the user which input system is connected to the video equipment and which equipment is powered on.
The user indicates a desired input system from the on-screen display by a remote control transmitter having a pointing device and switches the input system.
Alternatively, the number of user operations can be reduced by automatically limiting the input system selected by the switch that sequentially switches the input system each time it is pressed from the above information to a meaningful input system, or by rearranging the order of the selected input system. Thus, it is possible to configure a television receiver that can effectively reduce the input and improve the operational feeling of input switching.
