Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a coin processing device, and more particularly, to a coin processing device including a mechanism for temporarily holding a coin inserted in a vending machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Built-in coin handling equipment with a function to sort coins inserted in coin handling machines such as vending machines, store selected coins in denominations, and pay out stored coins as change Has been.
[0003]
The conventional coin processing device stores the inserted coins in the coin tube in order from the bottom and stores them in the coins stored in the coin tube or the auxiliary change tube provided exclusively for change when change is necessary. It is structured to pay out the coins from the bottom of the tube.
[0004]
In this case, when a coin is inserted and a return operation is performed without selling, the coin of the amount of money to be inserted is naturally returned as it is, but the return coin is paid out from the bottom of the coin tube or auxiliary change tube, Coins different from the inserted ones will be returned. Therefore, when a coin processing device throws in a false coin that is misidentified as a genuine coin and performs a return operation, the false coin is stored in the coin tube, and the genuine coin is paid out from the bottom of the coin tube, There will be a change from fake coins to genuine coins.
[0005]
In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-288480, when a coin is inserted, the coin is temporarily held without being guided to a coin tube. It is proposed to return it as it is.
[0006]
According to this proposal, when a coin is inserted, the coin in which a stopper provided on the path is inserted is temporarily held. When a coin return command or a product purchase command is sent from the vending machine side, the stopper is retracted from the passage, and the gate provided on the downstream side operates according to the coin return command or the product purchase command. To do. That is, if there is a coin return command without purchasing the product, the gate is switched to a passage that leads the temporarily held coin to the return port, and in the case of a product purchase command, the gate is switched to the passage that leads to the coin tube.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since a space for temporarily holding coins is required by providing such a mechanism for temporarily holding inserted coins, there is a limit to the number of accepted coins, and when the space for temporarily holding coins is full. Since no more coins can be accepted, even if coins are inserted, they are returned to the return slot as they are, and there is a problem that sales opportunities are missed due to the limit on the number of deposits of genuine coins. For example, in a certain vending machine, when the maximum number of 100-yen coins that can be temporarily held is three, when the number of inserted 100-yen coins becomes three, it may be temporarily held in the vending machine. Since it cannot be accepted and the next 100 yen coin cannot be accepted, there is no other way but to return it to the return slot. That is, there is a problem that it is not possible to buy a 400 yen sale product with four 100 yen coins.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and provides a coin processing device that can accept a larger number of coins than can be temporarily held without expanding a space for temporary holding. With the goal.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
Coin sorting means for sorting out the inserted coins, coin sorting means for sorting the coins sorted by the coin sorting means, and temporarily holding the coins that are determined to be genuine by the coin sorting means And means for storing coins temporarily held by the input coin temporary holding means and for distributing and controlling the coin sorting means according to the sorting result by the coin sorting means And a coin sorting means for setting a first set value and a second set value larger than the first set value of the number that can be temporarily held by the inserted coin temporary holding means. The number of coins determined to be a genuine coin in step 1 is compared with the first and second set values set by the number setting means, and the coin determined to be a genuine coin is compared with the coin determined to be a genuine coin. The number is Until the set value is reached, it is led to the temporary holding means for the inserted coins, and it is guided to the safe until the number of coins determined to be the correct coin exceeds the first set value and reaches the second set value, and is determined to be the correct coin. There is provided a coin processing device characterized by comprising at least one denomination of temporary holding number control means for controlling the coin sorting means to guide the coin to the return port when the number of coins exceeds the second set value. The
[0010]
According to such a coin processing device, the first set value of the number of sheets that can be temporarily held by the inserted coin temporary holding means and the second set value that is larger than the first set value are set by the number setting means, and the temporarily held number of sheets is set. A configuration in which the control means controls the coin sorting means so that coins inserted more than the first set value are stored in the safe, and coins inserted more than the second set value larger than the first set value are returned. As a result, it is possible to increase the number of accepted sheets without further increasing the space for temporary holding, and it is possible to suppress a decrease in sales opportunities due to restrictions on the number of coins deposited.

[0013]
In the number setting means 6, when the number of coins determined to be a genuine coin exceeds the number that can be temporarily held, the coin that has been determined to be a genuine coin is started to be collected into the safe 9 without being temporarily held. When the number of gold starting sheets (first setting value) and the number of coins determined to be genuine coins exceeds a certain number, the inserted coins are returned to the
[0014]
The temporary holding number control means 7 first compares the number of coins determined to be genuine by the coin sorting means 1 with the start of collection for each inserted coin, and the number of coins determined to be genuine is collected. Until the starting gold number is reached, the coins determined to be genuine are guided to the input coin
[0015]
As described above, in the coin processing device, the number setting means 6 sets the collection start number of sheets that can be temporarily held by the input coin temporary storage means 3 and the acceptance prohibition number larger than the collection start number of sheets, Since the
