【0108】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention belongs to a technique for replacing the in-reactor structure installed in the reactor pressure vessel of the boiling water reactor during the service period, and in particular, installed on the upper inner surface of the core shroud from the piping outside the reactor pressure vessel. The present invention relates to a core spray system piping replacement method in which a core spray system pipe in a nuclear reactor provided for guiding suppression pool water to a core spray purger is replaced only by the operation in the reactor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Of the reactor internals of the reactor pressure vessel in boiling water reactors, the core spray system piping is a fuel cladding tube due to overheating of the fuel when the core is exposed due to a coolant loss accident such as a recirculation system piping failure. In order to prevent melting, the water in the suppression pool is installed as an in-furnace pipe that guides the water from the external pipe to the core spare purger.
[0003]
The core spray system piping is composed of pipes in a range of approximately 180 degrees surrounding the core, and two systems are installed at symmetrical positions of 180 degrees.
[0004]
The core spray system piping is connected to the thermal sleeve welded to the safe end of the core spray nozzle of the reactor pressure vessel, branches to the left and right via the junction box, and runs along the inner wall of the pressure vessel in the direction of about 90 degrees. Are arranged in a semi-annular shape. The end of the semi-annular portion has a vertical pipe part that bends and hangs down in the vertical direction. The vertical pipe is further bent in a horizontal direction through a sleeve and protrudes into the upper outer wall of the core shroud. Connected to the pipe.
[0005]
A ring bracket is attached to the pipe of the core sparger protruding from the upper outer wall of the core shroud to prevent leakage of the reactor water flowing inside the shroud. It has the role of relieving thermal stress between the core place purger when sprayed and the core spray system piping and the shroud mounting portion.
[0006]
By the way, the reactor internal structure of a reactor pressure vessel is comprised by welding the member made from stainless steel.
[0007]
Stainless steel with a high carbon content is known to cause stress corrosion cracking in the weld heat-affected zone near the weld in a high-temperature water environment, and the core spray used in contact with the high-temperature reactor coolant. There are concerns about the occurrence of this in system piping.
[0008]
When such an event occurs, it is necessary to repair or replace the reactor internal structure in order to ensure reactor safety.
[0009]
However, in-furnace structures that have been used for a long period of time are embrittled due to neutron irradiation, and when welded, defects may occur in the deposited metal, making repairs by welding difficult. Therefore, replacement of the in-furnace structure can be considered as a desirable solution when a crack is generated due to stress corrosion cracking or the like in the irradiated portion.
[0010]
Various methods have been conventionally considered as a method of replacing the core spray system piping installed in such a reactor pressure vessel during the service period, but most of them are almost all devices in the reactor pressure vessel. The replacement is performed at the same time, and there is no known example assuming replacement with a single core spray piping.
[0011]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the method of removing almost all reactor internals and replacing them with new ones, the entire reactor interior can be cleaned and decontaminated in the absence of anything after the reactor internals are completely removed. Since there is no existing high-volume structure, the radiation dose equivalent rate in the reactor can be reduced by laying a shield inside the reactor pressure vessel, allowing workers to easily enter the reactor. It is.
[0012]
On the other hand, when only the structure located at the top of the core shroud is replaced alone, the entire reactor interior cannot be easily cleaned and decontaminated because other existing structures are installed. Since there is an existing structure with a high radiation dose, it is difficult to reduce the radiation dose equivalent rate in the furnace to a level at which workers can work in the furnace.
[0013]
Therefore, this environment can be improved as much as possible, and the existing core spray system piping can be removed and new structures can be installed by workers entering the furnace. It is necessary to consider a method for making the incidental work easier and in a shorter time.
[0014]
The present invention has been made paying attention to such circumstances, and a core spray that allows an operator to enter the reactor even in a state where the core shroud exists, and to replace the core spray system piping easily and in a short time. The purpose is to provide a system piping replacement method.
[0015]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, in the invention according to

As the laser heating, for example, a method using a YAG laser is applied. That is, in this method, the surface of the stainless steel sensitized region is irradiated with a YAG laser to form surface treatment layers (a melt-solidified layer and a melt-treated layer). By moving the narrowed laser beam at a high speed, the surface of the construction target part is rapidly heated and rapidly cooled, and the chromium carbide disappears. Moreover, when a laser is irradiated to the pipe inner construction target part, the melted part of the inner surface contracts with cooling, and the residual stress on the pipe outer surface side of the construction target part becomes the compression direction. By such an action, a modification construction capable of preventing stress corrosion cracking is performed.
[0074]
In addition, as conditions for surface modification by the desensitization treatment method, the laser irradiation output and the processing speed are set in advance so that the penetration depth is about 0.2 mm. As the shielding gas, for example, an inert gas such as argon gas is used.
