Description

【0001】
PCSP =(RW −RP )/RW

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to securities paper for checks, promissory notes, etc., and more particularly, securities paper that enables the amount printed by a check writer to be reliably read by machine processing and the use thereof. Related to securities.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, when checks and promissory bills issued by customers (individuals and corporations) are processed at financial institutions, the input processing of the amount printed by the check writer is performed by terminal input while visually checking.
[0003]
The above check writer prints the amount of money by forming embosses with vertical stripes by pressing on the gold sheet column (the amount of money is printed) on the securities sheet while applying stamp ink to the convex type. This is a tool to prevent tampering, and the degree of embossing and the degree of sticking of the stamp ink varies depending on the individual checkwriters possessed by the customer, and also the density varies depending on the person who prints. There are many current situations.
[0004]
Information such as the name of a financial institution determined from the outset on securities paper is printed with magnetic ink or with a sufficient density so that it can be read with OCR. However, since the customer prints in the gold seat column, it is not always printed at a density sufficient for machine reading for the above reasons, and this is a problem in automatic processing by the machine. It was one.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention solves the problems of the prior art, and the problem is that even if the check writer or the person who prints is different, the printed amount can be reliably read by a machine and processed. It is to provide a securities sheet to be used and securities using the same.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object in the present invention, first, in the invention of claim 1, at least the gold is provided on the surface of a paper main body having a gold washer column on which an amount of money and a symbol are printed by a check writer at an arbitrary position. A developer layer is laminated so as to cover the seat column, and a color former layer composed of microcapsules is laminated on the developer layer on the gold seat column , and the microcapsule is at a pressure of 50 to 500 MPa. It is a securities paper characterized by a robust type that breaks down .
[0007]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a valuable item in which the amount of money having a PCS value (Print Contrast Signal) of 0.8 or more is printed on the securities sheet according to the first aspect by a check writer. It is a security .
[0008]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, a developer layer is laminated on the surface of a paper body having a gold washer column so as to cover at least the gold column, and a microcapsule is formed on the developer layer on the gold column. The microcapsule is a robust type that breaks at a pressure of 50 to 500 MPa, and the PCS value is obtained with a check writer at an arbitrary position in the washer column of the securities paper. (Print Contrast Signal) is a printing method characterized in that numbers and symbols of amounts having a density of 0.8 or more are printed .
[0009]
According to the present invention, when press printing is performed with a check writer on the color former layer laminated on the gold column, the microcapsules in the color former layer are broken by the pressure, and the electron-accepting colorless dye in the microcapsules is obtained. By reacting with the electron-donating acidic substance in the developer layer, color develops, and the concentration of the numbers and symbols indicating the amount of money improves to a PCS value of 0.8 or more, so that it is possible to provide securities paper that can withstand machine reading.
[0010]
The PCS value is a reflection density defined by the following equation, and the larger the value, the higher the density.
PCS P = (R W −R P ) / R W
PCS P is PCS value R W of the point P, the maximum reflectivity R P is in the reflectivity measuring instrument to the point P of the measurement target region is Macbeth reflectance / densitometer: PCM-II, B filters still The pressure 1 MPa is about 10 kgf / cm 2 .
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below.
The present invention relates to a form of securities represented by, for example, a check or a promissory note. More specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, printing is performed by a check writer on a gold washer column (20) at an arbitrary position. The present invention relates to a securities sheet for obtaining securities (1) having a concentration such that the numbers and symbols of the amount (K) to be processed are reliably read and processed by a machine.
[0012]
Therefore, first, the invention of claim 1 is a sheet body having a washer column (20) on which an amount of money and a symbol are printed by a check writer at an arbitrary position as shown in the front view of FIG. A developer layer (10) is laminated on the entire surface (30a), for example, on the entire surface (30a), as shown in FIG. This is a securities sheet (2) in which a color developer layer (12) made of microcapsules is laminated on a developer layer (10) on a column (20).
[0013]
Alternatively, as shown in the cross-sectional view along the line BB in FIG. 1 (a) in FIG. 1 (c), for example, a developer layer (10) is laminated so as to cover only the metal washer column (20), and the metal washer It can also be a securities sheet (2) in which a color former layer (12) made of microcapsules is laminated on a developer layer (10) on a column (20).
[0014]
Further, the invention of claim 2 is characterized in that the microcapsules in the color former layer (12) are of a robust type that is broken at a pressure of 50 to 500 MPa. If the microcapsules break at a pressure of less than 50 MPa, there is a risk of color development at the slight pressure during the handling of securities paper (2), that is, before the processing of checks and promissory notes. This is not preferable because it causes trouble. Also, a microcapsule that breaks at a pressure exceeding 500 MPa is not preferable because there is a risk that when pressed with a check writer, the paper will be broken and holes will be opened and the color will not be surely formed.
[0015]
When the security paper (2) having the above-described configuration is used for press printing from above the color former layer (12) with a check writer, even if the check writer or the person who prints is different, the color former layer (12 ) Is broken, and the electron-accepting colorless dye contained in the microcapsule reacts with the electron-donating acidic substance in the developer layer (10) to develop a color, as shown in FIG. , The density of numbers and symbols indicating the amount of money (K) is improved to a PCS value of 0.8 or more, and the securities (1) that can be read by a machine can be obtained.
[0016]
The materials of the developer layer (10) and the color former layer (12) constituting the securities sheet (1) of the present invention will be described below.
First, as the electron-accepting colorless dye constituting the color former layer (12), a leuco dye is used. As a typical example, crystal violet lactone (CVL), which is early in color development but inferior in durability, is slow in color development but durable. Benzoylleucomethylene blue (BLMB) having excellent properties can be mentioned, and among these leucos, the fluoran series can produce blue, red and black colors. These leuco dyes are dissolved in terphenyl as a solvent and, for example, gelatin-polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is included as a wall material in a microcapsule having a particle diameter of 2 to 10 μm to form a microcapsule ink. On the layer (10), the color former layer (12) can be formed by part coating to 2 to 5 g / m 2 by a screen method or a gravure method. To make this microcapsule a robust type with a breakdown pressure of 50 to 500 MPa, encapsulating, that is, adjusting the stirring speed in the emulsification step and the weight ratio of the wall material, etc., make the particle size small and the wall material thicker. Can be obtained by:
[0017]
Further, as the electron-donating acidic substance constituting the developer layer (10), acidic clay, oil-soluble phenol resin, salicylic acid derivative and the like are used, and a slurry in which these are dispersed in a suitable solvent is used as a paper main body ( When applying to the entire surface of 30) with a knife coater or gravure coater, when applying a heart coat only on the gold washer column (20), it is 2-5 g / m 2 by gravure method, screen method or rubber convex flexo method. It can be set as a color developer layer (10).
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
Since this invention is the above structure, there exist the following effects.
That is, a developer layer is laminated so as to cover at least the above-mentioned gold column on the surface of the paper body having a gold column where a number and a symbol of the amount are printed by a check writer, and the developer on the gold column A color former layer composed of microcapsules is laminated on the layer, and this microcapsule is a securities paper that is a robust type that breaks down at a pressure of 50 to 500 MPa. If you press-print from the top of the agent layer, even if the check writer or the person who prints is different, the density of the numbers and symbols that indicate the amount of color developed will be a PCS value of 0.8 or more, which ensures machine reading and processing Possible securities form.
[0019]
Therefore, the present invention exhibits an excellent practical effect as securities paper for checks, promissory notes, and the like.
