【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、戸建て住宅、集合住宅等に設置され、照明器具で郵便受け箱本体の内部が照らされるようにした郵便受け箱に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来から、図9に示す如く、郵便受け箱本体4の内部に照明器具3を備えた郵便受け箱は知られている。この場合、郵便受け箱本体4は一側面に投入口13、その反対側面に取り出し口5が各々開口形成されたもので、該取り出し口15には上方へ回動されて開かれる開閉自在な蓋板15が付設されている。又、郵便受け箱本体4はコンクリート塀、ブロック塀等の塀体19に埋設固定され、その際に、該塀体19の敷地外側に投入口13、内側に取り出し口5が各々表出される。それ故、敷地外側の投入口13から郵便受け箱本体4内に投入された郵便物や新聞等の投入物を、敷地内側の取り出し口5から蓋板15を開けて取り出すことができる。

そして、郵便受け箱本体4の一側面の投入口13下側には透光性を有する表札パネル25が設けられており、該表札パネル25の裏側に前記照明器具3は設けられている。照明器具3は照明灯24を内部カバー板26で覆って形成され、該内部カバー板26も透光性を有している。したがって、夜間においては、照明器具3の照明灯24を点灯させることで、表札パネル25が敷地外側で明るく表示され、又、取り出し口5から投入物を取り出す際には、内部カバー板26を透して郵便受け箱本体4の内部が照らされていて、同投入物の存在を確認してこれを容易に取り出すこともできる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の技術にあっては、表札パネル25を明るく表示させるために照明器具3が設けられたもので、該照明器具3の内部カバー板26を透光性を有するものとして、同照明器具3が郵便受け箱本体4の内部を照らすものとしても共用されるようになしたものである。そのため、表札パネル25を明るく表示させる必要のある夜間等には、照明器具3の照明灯24が点灯し続けられるものであり、逆に、同表札パネル25を明るく表示させる必要のない昼間には、同照明器具3の照明灯24が消灯されている。

ところが、郵便受け箱本体4の内部は外部と比較すると常に暗く、昼間でも雨天、曇天等で外部周辺が暗い場合はあり、このような場合に、取り出し口5から郵便受け箱本体4の内部を見て投入物を確認し、該投入物を取り出すことが煩わしく感じるものである。又、表札パネル25を明るく表示させるために設けられる照明器具3のスイッチは、通常、屋内に設けられており、投入物を取り出す毎にわざわざ屋内に設けられるスイッチを操作して同照明器具3の照明灯24を点灯・消灯させるのも、極めて困難なことで現実的でないものである。

本発明は、上記従来の技術における問題を悉く解決するために発明されたもので、その課題は、照明器具が郵便受け箱本体の内部でコンパクトに納まり、該内部を同照明器具で明るく照らして収納物を確認し取り出すことが煩わしくなくなる郵便受け箱を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の請求項1記載の郵便受け箱は、照明部の反対側にスイッチ部を一体的に突設して照明器具を形成し、他方、郵便受け箱本体に開口形成された取り出し口の周辺に小開口を形成し、該郵便受け箱本体内に前記照明器具を収容しそのスイッチ部を同小開口から外方へ突出させて、該照明器具を同郵便受け箱本体の内面に沿設して取着してなり、投入口の反対側の側面に開口形成された取り出し口の周辺にて、郵便受け箱本体の内面に照明器具を沿設すると共にこの照明器具のスイッチ部を同郵便受け箱本体の外方へ突出させてなるものである。
