本発明は、缶,びん,ペットボトルなどの商品をコールド商品として販売する自動販売機を対象に、庫内に商品収納ラックおよび冷却ユニットを装備した扉付きキャビネットの底部側に機械室を画成し、ここに冷凍機の風冷式コンデンシングユニットを搭載した自動販売機の構成に関する。

【従来の技術】
まず、頭記した自動販売機の一般的な構造例を図5,図6に示す。図において、1は断熱筐体になる自動販売機のキャビネット、1aは商品収納庫、1bはキャビネット1の底部側に画成した機械室、2は前面外扉、2aは商品取出口、3は断熱内扉、4はキャビネット1の商品収納庫1aに収設した商品収納ラック、5は商品収納ラック4から搬出した商品を商品取出口2aに導く商品搬出シュータ、6は商品収納庫1aの庫内底部に設置した冷却ニット(冷凍機のエバポレータと庫内ファンとの組立体)であり、前記機械室1bには前記冷却ユニット6とで冷凍サイクルを形成する冷棟機の風冷式コンデンシンユニット7を搭載し、仕切壁1cの左側に画成した小室には電源ユニット等を収設している。なお、商品収納庫1aの断熱筐体は、薄鋼板製になる内箱と外箱との間に、例えば発泡性樹脂の断熱材を充填した構成になる。

かかる自動販売機の商品販売動作は周知の通りであり、商品8は商品収納ラック4の各コラムに収納され、冷却ユニット6で冷却した冷気を庫内に循環送風して商品8を販売適温に保冷している。そして商品販売時には、販売指令に基づくベンド機構4aの動作で商品収納ラック4から払い出した品8が商品搬出シュート5を経て商品取出口2aに送出される。

また、前記の風冷式コンデンシングユニット7は圧縮機7a,凝縮器7b,送風ファン7cの組立体からなり、一般には図7で示すように、外扉2の前面下部に開口する外気取入口2bを通じて機外前方より取り入れた冷却空気(外気)を図示矢印のように機械室1bの室内に送風して擬縮器7b,圧縮機7aを冷却した後、機械室1bの背面に開口した排気口1b-1を通じてキャビネット1の背後側に排出するようにしている。

一方、自動販売機の運転時にコンデンシングユニット7から発生した騒音(圧縮機の振動音,送風ファンの風切り音)がキャビネット1の前方(通路側)に伝播するのを防いで低騒音化を図るために、機械室の前端面を遮音壁で閉塞した上で、キャビネットの背面側から冷却空気を取入み、排気を行うようにした構成のものが本発明と同一出願人より特願2000─343473号として先に提案されており、その構成を図7に示す。

すなわち、図示の低騒音形自動販売機では、コンデンシングユニット7を搭載した機械室1bの前面を遮音板9で閉塞したうえで、機械室1bの室内にはコンデンシングユニット7を包囲して風胴10を設け、また機械室の背面には左右に振り分けて風胴10の出口に通じる冷却空気の排気口11および空気取入口12L,12Rを開口するとともに、空気取入口12L,12Rと風胴10の前面側の入口との間に風胴10の側方を迂回する吸込導風路13を画成し、さらに風胴10,導風路13の内壁面には吸音材14を布設している。また、キャビネット1の背面には排気口11に連通して上方に延在する排気ダクト15を設けており、この構成で空気取入口12L,12Rから取り込んだ外気を図示矢印のようにコンデンシングユニット7へ送風し、排気口11,排気ダクト15を通じて天井側に排気するようにしている。

上記の構成によれば、機械室1bの前面が遮音壁9で閉塞されており、運転中にコンデンシングユニット7から発生した騒音は自動販売機の前方に漏洩することがなく、また冷却空気の送風経路の内壁面には吸音材14が布設されていて空気取入口,排気口から外方に伝播する騒音レベルも低減するので、特に静粛性が要求される屋内設置用の自動販売機として好適である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、ロケーション先に自動販売機を据付ける場合に、1台の自動販売機を単独使用する例もあるが、例えば高速道路のサービスエリアのように多数の人が利用するロケーションでは、一般に複数台の自動販売機を同じ場所に並置して使用する例が多い。この場合に、図7に示した低騒音形の自動販売機と、図6に示した在来の一般的な自動販売機を同じ場所に並置して使用すると、保冷運転の面で次記のような問題が生じる。

すなわち、図6に示した一般の自動販売機では、コンデンシングユニット7を通過した高温の排気が排気口1b-1を通じてそのままキャビネット1の背後に放出されるが、屋内に据付けた自動販売機はその後面と建屋の壁との間に十分な隙間が確保されてないことから高温の排気空気は直ちには広い空間に拡散されずにこの部分に停滞する。一方、図7に示した低騒音自動販売機は、冷却空気取入口12L,12Rがキャビネット1の底部後面側に開口している。このために、一般的な自動販売機と並べて設置すると、一般の自動販売機から背後に放出された高温の排気が隣接する低騒音形の自動販売機の空気取入口から取り込まれてそのコンデンシングユニット7に送風されるようになり、その結果として低騒音形の自動販売機ではコンデンシングユニット7の冷却効率が低下して十分な保冷性能が発揮できなくなる。

本発明は上記の点に鑑みなされたものであり、前記した低騒音形の自動販売機を対象に、その機械室に搭載した冷凍機のコンデンシンデユニットに対する外気取り入れの導風路を改良し、一般の自動販売機と同じ場所に並べて設置した場合でも、低騒音性を確保しつつ、一般の自動販売機から排出した高温排気の影響を直接受けることなしに、高い冷却性能を発揮できるようにした自動販売機を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するために、本発明によれば、庫内に商品収納ラックおよび冷却ユニットを装備した扉付きキャビネットの底部側に機械室を画成して冷凍機の風冷式コンデンシングユニットを搭載し、前記機械室を風道として周囲から取り込んだ冷却空気をコンデンシングユニットに送風するようにした自動販売機であり、前記機械室の前面を遮音壁で閉塞したうえで、該室内にコンデンシングユニットを包囲する風胴を設けるとともに、機械室の背面側には空気取入口および排気口を左右に振り分けて開口し、空気取入口から前記風胴を経由して排気口に通じる導風路を画成したものであって、機械室の底面側を迂回してキャビネットの前方から前記の空気取入口に通じる外気の取入れ導風路を画成し、該導風路を経由してキャビネットの前方から空気を機械室内に取り込むようにした自動販売機において、キャビネットの底面と据付け床面との間の隙間を包囲してキャビネットの前面を除く側面および背面を囲い板で包囲した導風ガイドを布設し、当該囲い板をキャビネットに対して上下可動に連結支持する

上記構成によれば、当該自動販売機を一般の自動販売機(コンデンシングユニットの排気をキャビネットの背後に放出する(図6参照))と同じ場所(屋内)に並置して使用する場合でも、一般の自動販売機から背後に排出する高温排気の影響を直接受けることがなく、これにより高い冷却性能を維持できる。しかも、外気取入れ導風路は機械室の背後から向きを反転し、キャビネットの底面側を迂回して前方に開口しているので、キャビネットの前方に漏洩する騒音は僅少となる。

(4) 導風ガイドに柔軟なシートを使用し、該シートをキャビネットの前面を除く底部周域にカーテン状に垂らして先端が床面と接するように布設し、 (4) と同様に自動販売機の高さ調整に対応できるようにする(請求項)。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図示の実施例に基づいて説明する。なお、各実施例の図中で図7に対応する部材には同じ符号を付してその説明は省略する。
〔実施例1〕図1(a),(b) は本発明の実施例を示すものである。この実施例においては、機械室1bの背面および底面域をカバー16で覆い、コンデンシングユニット7を載置したキャビネット1の基台1dと前記カバー16との間の隙間を導風路として、キャビネット1の前方から基台1dの裏側を迂回してコンデンシングユニット7の風胴10の両側に画成した吸込導風路13に連なる外気の取入れ導風路17を画成し、該導風路17の前端をキャビネット1の前面に開放して冷却空気の取入口を形成している。なお、外気取入れ導風路17を画成するカバー16の内壁面には、機械室1b,風胴10および排気ダクト15と同様に吸音材14を布設している。

かかる横成において、冷凍機の運転時には図示矢印のようにキャビネット1の前方に開口する外気取入れ導風路17から取り込んだ外気は、導風路17の後端から向きを反転して吸込導風路13を経て風胴10の前方からに流入し、コンデンシングユニット7を冷却した後に、背面側の排気口11から排気ダクト15を経て天井側に排気される。

上記の構成により、ロケーション先の同じ場所に当該自動販売機と図6に示した一般の自動販売機とを並べて設置した場合でも、一般の自動販売機から背面側に排出した高温の排気が当該自動販売機のコンデンシングユニット7に冷却空気として取り込まれるおそれがない。しかも、コンデンシングユニット7を収設した機械室1bの前面は遮音壁9で閉塞されており、かつキャビネットの前方に開口する外気取入れ導風路17は、機械室の底面側を迂回してその後端から向きを反転しているので、この外気取入れ導風路17を伝播してキャビネット1の前方に漏洩するコンデンシングユニット7の騒音は僅少であり、さらに導風路17の内面に吸音材14を布設しておくことで騒音の漏洩を大幅に減衰させることができる。

〔実施例2〕図2(a),(b) は本発明に対応する実施例を示すものである。この実施例においては、図1における底部カバー16の代わりに、キャビネット1の前面を除く側面および背面を包囲してその下縁が自動販売機の据付け床面と接するように導風ガイドとして囲い板18を布設し、この囲い板18で囲まれたキャビネット1の基台1dと床面との間に外気取入れ導風路17を形成している。この導風路17は図1の実施例と同様に前端がキャビネット1の前方に開放し、後端が向きを反転して機械室6の吸込導風路13に連通しており、その内壁面には吸音材14を貼り付けている。なお、19は基台1dの四隅に配したキャビネット1の支脚(ねじ式の高さアジャスタ)であり、この支脚19により前記の外気取入れ導風路17が確保される。

かかる構成により、ロケーション先でキャビネット1の支脚19を伸縮調整して自動販売機の据付け高さを変更,調節する場合でも、囲い板18はその下縁が床面に接したままキャビネット1が上下に変位するので、その都度囲い板18の取付位置を変えることなしに導風ガイドとしての機能を維持できる。
また、この実施例では搬送用のフォーリフトを使って自動販売機を移動する場合の作業を想定して、キャビネット1の背面側に布設した囲い板18にはその下縁に沿って内側に断面三角の枕木18bを取付けている。そして、フォークリフトを使って自動販売機を持ち上げる際には、(a) 図のようにキャビネット1の前方から基台1dと床面との間の隙間(外気取入れ導風路17)にフォーク21を差込んで(b) 図のように押し込むと、フォーク21の先端が前記の枕木18bの斜面に当たって囲い板18を押し上げる。これにより、フォーク21を(c) 図の位置まで押し込んで自動販売機を上方に持ち上げ搬送することができる。

〔実施例4〕図4(a),(b) は本発明の請求項に対応する応用実施例を示すものである。この実施例においては、キャビネット1の底面側に外気取入れ導風路を形成する導風ガイドとして、先記の実施例2,3で述べた囲い板18の代わりに、柔軟性のあるシート(樹脂シートあるいは通気性のない布製シート)22を使用し、このシート22をキャビネット1の前面を除く底部周域にカーテン状に布設してキャビネット1の基台1dと据付け床面との間にシート22で取り囲まれた外気取入れ導風路を形成するようにしている。なお、シート22は、その高さ方向の丈を自動販売機の据付け高さ(床面からの高さ)よりも大きめに余裕を持たせて設定し、自動販売機の据付け状態では、(a) 図のようにシート22の裾回りが弛んだ状態で床面に接するようにしている。

【発明の効果】
以上述べたように、本発明の構成によれば、次記の効果を奏する。
(1) 遮音壁で前面を塞いだ機械室に搭載した冷凍機の風冷式コンデンシングユニットに対する冷却空気の導風路として、機械室の背後からキャビネットの底面側を迂回して前方に開口する外気取入れ導風路を形成し、この導風路を通じてキャビネットの前方側から取り込んだ外気をコンデンシングユニットに送風するようしたことにより、自動販売機の前方に漏洩するコンデンシングユニットの騒音を低く抑えて静粛性を確保しつつ、ロケーション先で当該自動販売機と一般の自動販売機(冷凍機のコンデンシングユニットから出た高温の排気をキャビネットの背面側に排出する)とを同じ場所に並べて設置した場合でも、一般の自動販売機から排出する高温排気の影響を受けることなく高い冷却性能を維持することができる。
