BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a bearing (for example, a linear motion guide device such as a rolling bearing, a linear guide device, and a ball screw device) including a rolling element and two members formed with raceway grooves for rolling the rolling element.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Rolling bearings and linear motion guide devices (hereinafter referred to as “rolling bearings”) include a first member and a second member (inner and outer rings, rails and sliders, screw shafts and nuts) provided with raceway grooves arranged to face each other. ) And a plurality of rolling elements that are arranged to freely roll between the raceway grooves of both members, and when the rolling elements roll, one of the first member and the second member is against the other Are configured to move relative to each other. In such a rolling bearing or the like, the rolling contact surface between the rolling element and the raceway grooves of both members is subjected to high surface pressure and high-speed slippage. Therefore, elastic fluid lubrication (oil film by elastic fluid lubrication on the rolling contact surface) This prevents wear and seizure on the rolling contact surface.
[0003]
Conventionally, proposals have been made to further improve the wear resistance and seizure resistance of rolling bearings and the like.
For example, in the following

[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-described object, the present invention provides a first member and a second member having raceway grooves arranged opposite to each other, and a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the raceway grooves of both members. A bearing member in which one of the first member and the second member moves relative to the other when the rolling member rolls, and a raceway groove of the first member, a raceway groove of the second member, and At least one of the rolling surfaces of the rolling element has an oxide film having a composition containing sulfur (S) on the surface, and the sulfur content of the oxide film [S 1 ] Is the sulfur content of the material forming the raceway groove or rolling surface [S 0 ] To provide a bearing characterized by being higher than.

In FIG. 7B, “UPR” means the number of peaks (number of corners) per revolution, and this table displays the half amplitude per number of peaks (number of angles) per revolution in μm. It is. A value obtained by adding the value of N in the vertical column to “N + n (n = 0 to 4)” in the horizontal column of the table indicates “UPR” at each position in the table.
[0044]
Therefore, from this table, when UPR = 1, the half amplitude is 0.052 μm, when UPR = 2, the half amplitude is 0.013 μm, when UPR = 3, the half amplitude is 0.006 μm, when UPR = 4, the half amplitude is 0.002 μm, and UPR = 5. It can be seen that the half amplitude is 0.002 μm and UPR ≧ 6, which is below the measurement limit (half amplitude 0.001 μm). That is, the UPR is 6 (the number of balls −1) or more and the half amplitude is 0.001 μm (1 nm) or less, and the

For the analysis, a scanning Auger electron spectrometer “SAM650” manufactured by ULVAC-PHI Co., Ltd. was used, and the analysis conditions were: electron beam acceleration voltage: 5 kV, sample current: 30 nA, argon ion: 1 kV-25 mA (operating pressure: 15 mPa) Argon ion irradiation angle: 30 degrees. The analyzer was calibrated using tantalum oxide. That is, the sputtering rate was measured by sputtering a standard piece of tantalum oxide to a depth of 25 nm. Using this measured value (1.46 nm / min), the depth was converted from the sputtering time.
[0046]
The oxygen intensity became substantially constant (background level: oxygen intensity of SUJ2) after about 4 minutes. From this result, it was found that the thickness of the oxide film was about 6 nm. Further, as shown in FIG. 8, the oxygen intensity was highest on the surface and decreased toward the inside up to the background level, but the sulfur intensity had a maximum value between the surface and the background level. This maximum value became constant at high strength after the strength of iron increased from the surface toward the inside.
[0047]
Here, the measured intensity is proportional to the content of each element at each position in the depth (film thickness) direction at the measurement point. In addition, the oxide film and its base (SUJ2 inner ring) are formed in a uniform composition at the same depth position. Therefore, the sulfur strength obtained by this measurement is proportional to the sulfur content at each position in the depth direction.
From this result, the

Note that the thickness of the oxide film to be formed varies depending on the processing conditions and the material of the workpiece, and in the case of the above-described method, for example, varies in the range of 4 nm to 10 nm. In addition, the sulfur content in the oxide film [S 1 ] And local maximum [S 1 ] MAX The position to be different also depends on the processing conditions and the material of the workpiece.

For the rolling bearings of No. 1-1 to No. 1-4 (1000 pieces each), a test for examining acoustic characteristics was performed by the following method. That is, using an andrometer, the amount (anderon value) indicating acoustic characteristics was measured immediately after the lubricant was sealed and after rotation for 5000 hours. The measurement conditions are as follows.
<Test conditions>
Rotation speed: 4,800min -1 (Inner ring rotation)
Axial load: 20N
Atmospheric temperature: 70 ° C
From the obtained results, the relative values of No. 1-1 to No. 1-3 with respect to No. 1-4 were calculated for the Anderon value immediately after enclosing the lubricant.
[0056]
In addition, for each sample, the increase value of the Anderon value after 5000 hours of rotation relative to the Anderon value (initial sound) immediately after encapsulating the lubricant is calculated, and a sample in which the increased value exceeds 1.0 is rejected. did. And the ratio of the rejection sample in 1000 samples of the same structure was computed as a rejection rate (%). Next, the failure rate of No. 1-1 to No. 1-3 was divided by the failure rate of No. 1-4, and the failure rate of No. 1-4 was set to “1”. The relative value of the rejection rate of 1-1 to No. 1-3 was calculated.
These results are also shown in Table 1 below.

As can be seen from the results in Table 1, when No. 1-1 to No. 1-3 corresponding to the example of the present invention and No. 1-4 corresponding to the comparative example are compared, there is almost no initial acoustic characteristic. Although there is no difference, the rejection rate after 5000 hours of rotation is No. 1-1 to No. 1-3, which is 1/6 to 1/8 times that of No. 1-4. That is, it can be seen that the configuration of the present invention improves the lubrication characteristics and maintains good acoustic characteristics for a long time.

For the rolling bearings of No. 3-1 to No. 3-4 (1000 pieces each), a test for examining acoustic characteristics was performed by the following method. That is, using an andrometer, the amount (anderon value) indicating acoustic characteristics was measured immediately after the lubricant was sealed and after rotation for 5000 hours. The measurement conditions are as follows.
<Test conditions>
Rotation speed: 4,800min -1 (Inner ring rotation)
Axial load: 20N
Atmospheric temperature: 70 ° C
From the obtained results, the relative values of No. 3-1 to No. 3-3 relative to No. 3-4 were calculated for the Anderon value immediately after the lubricant was sealed.

Next, the failure rate of No. 3-1 to No. 3-3 was divided by the failure rate of No. 3-4, and the failure rate of No. 3-4 was set to “1”. The relative value of the rejection rate of 3-1 to No. 3-3 was calculated.
These results are also shown in Table 3 below.
