Description
【0001】
【0002】
特に、本発明は、OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing:直交周波数分割多重)伝送方式を用いたMIMO(Multi-Input Multi-Output)チャネル信号伝送用送信機及びMIMOチャネル信号伝送方法に関する。
【0003】

In the present embodiment, the number of symbol sections of the pilot section is “4”. Also, a null signal is inserted into a symbol period in which no pilot signal is inserted in the pilot period.
[0016]
In the example of FIG. 11, pilot signals are transmitted in order from stream # 1 in all subcarriers. In addition, in each stream, the pilot signal is transmitted only in one symbol period out of the pilot period consisting of four symbol periods, so the symbol period in which the pilot signal is transmitted in each stream is temporally It is 1/4 of all pilot sections.
[0017]
For this reason, in order to prevent the deterioration of the transmission path estimation system due to the pilot signal, the pilot signal is transmitted at a transmission level four times the transmission level (transmission power, output) of the data signal in one symbol period in the data period. Yes.
[0018]
As a result, the receiver 30 can receive the pilot signal without interference in the pilot section of each stream, and can estimate the transmission path fluctuation satisfactorily. On the other hand, the transmitter 10 transmits the data signal simultaneously in the data section of each stream, but the receiver 30 separates the data signal using the transmission path estimation value calculated based on the pilot signal. Demodulating.
[0019]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional MIMO channel transmission method, as shown in FIG. 9, there is a problem that the transmission level of each transmission antenna of the transmitter 10 varies greatly with time.
[0020]
That is, in the conventional MIMO channel transmission method, a time zone in which the transmission level is four times the transmission level in the data zone and a time zone in which the transmission level is 0 are generated in the pilot zone. Therefore, the
[0021]
Also, in the conventional MIMO channel transmission method, when the transmission level of the pilot signal is lowered, the fluctuation of the transmission level is mitigated, but the transmission path estimation system is deteriorated, so that the separation of the data signal in the data section is good. There was a problem that could not be done.
[0022]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and a transmitter for multicarrier transmission and multicarrier transmission capable of satisfactorily separating data signals in a data section while mitigating fluctuations in transmission level. It aims to provide a method.
[0023]
Further, the present invention provides a transmitter for multicarrier transmission in which requirements for bandwidth and dynamic range are alleviated, power efficiency is improved, and manufacturing costs are reduced by suppressing fluctuations in transmission output in a pilot section. The purpose is to provide.
[0024]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A first feature of the present invention is a multicarrier transmission transmitter that transmits a stream including a pilot signal in symbol intervals on a plurality of subcarriers, and transmits a predetermined symbol interval between a plurality of streams. The gist of the present invention is to provide a pattern conversion unit for converting the pattern of the pilot signal inserted into each stream so as to average the number of pilot signals to be processed.
[0025]
According to this invention, the pattern conversion unit converts the pattern of the pilot signal to be inserted into each stream so as to average the number of pilot signals transmitted in a predetermined symbol period among a plurality of streams. The number of subcarriers that simultaneously transmit pilot signals within each stream is reduced, and the temporal transmission level in the pilot section within each stream can be averaged.
[0026]
The pattern conversion unit described above may convert the pilot signal pattern so that the total transmission power of the pilot signal transmitted in each symbol section on all subcarriers is equal to or less than a predetermined limit value. it can.
[0027]
According to this invention, by converting the pilot signal pattern so that the total transmission power in a predetermined transmission band (each symbol interval on all subcarriers) is equal to or less than a predetermined limit value, The temporal transmission level in the pilot section in each stream can be surely averaged.
[0028]
Further, the pattern conversion unit described above can convert the pilot signal pattern so that the pilot signal is transmitted in the same symbol period on a predetermined number of consecutive subcarriers.
[0029]
According to this invention, the temporal transmission level in the pilot section in each stream is averaged by converting the pattern of the pilot signal so that the pilot signal is transmitted at the same timing on a predetermined number of consecutive subcarriers. However, the estimation accuracy of the transmission path can be improved.
[0030]
In addition, the pattern conversion unit described above may determine the predetermined number so that the total transmission power of pilot signals transmitted in each symbol section on all subcarriers is equal to or less than a predetermined limit value. it can.
[0031]
A symbol period on the plurality of subcarriers includes a data period for transmitting a data signal, a first pilot period for transmitting the pilot signal before the data period, and the pilot signal after the data period. The above-described pattern conversion unit can convert a pattern of a pilot signal to be transmitted in both the first and second pilot periods.
[0032]
According to this invention, by providing the first and second pilot sections before and after the data section, the transmission path estimation accuracy is improved while averaging the temporal transmission level in the pilot section in each stream. be able to.
[0033]
A second feature of the present invention is a multicarrier transmission method for transmitting a stream including a pilot signal in symbol intervals on a plurality of subcarriers, wherein the stream is transmitted in a predetermined symbol interval between a plurality of streams. The gist is to convert the pattern of the pilot signal inserted into each stream so as to average the number of pilot signals.
