従来、例えば、環形蛍光ランプを使用する照明器具では、器具本体の下面側に反射体および環形蛍光ランプを配置し、器具本体や反射体の内側に点灯装置を配置している。

しかしながら、ランプホルダ体を用いる着脱式の照明器具とランプホルダ体を用いない固定式の照明器具とでは、ランプホルダ体を用いるか用いないかで構成が大きく相違することから、それぞれ専用の部品を用いており、共通化が難しい問題を有している。

本発明は、このような点に鑑みなされたもので、ランプホルダ体を用いて着脱可能とする着脱式と、着脱可能としない固定式とで、部品を共用できる照明器具を提供することを目的とする。

請求項1記載の照明器具は、器具本体と;接続コネクタおよび係合部を有し、引掛シーリングに装着されるとともにアース接続可能とするアダプタと;器具本体に設けられ、アダプタの係合部に係合して取り付けられるアダプタ取付部と;アダプタの係合部とアダプタ取付部とにそれぞれ設けられ、これらアダプタの係合部とアダプタ取付部との係合状態で互いに接触するアース接続部と;着脱手段および固定手段のいずれか一方を有するランプホルダ体と;器具本体に設けられ、着脱手段を有するランプホルダ体は着脱可能に装着するとともに、固定手段を有するランプホルダ体は固定状態に装着するランプホルダ体取付部を有する反射体と;ランプホルダ体取付部に設けられ、アダプタの接続コネクタが接続されるコネクタ接続部と;反射体の内側に配置され、アダプタ取付部のアース接続部およびコネクタ接続部と電気的に接続されるとともに、ランプホルダ体取付部に装着される各ランプホルダ体が電気的に接続される点灯装置と;を備えているものである。
