Description
The present invention relates to a cabinet with an optical splitter that houses an optical splitter (optical distributor) that distributes a signal of one optical fiber in one trunk cable to a plurality of optical fibers of a plurality of branch cables. It is.
The cabinet with an optical splitter is installed in, for example, an apartment house or a building in a state where a 1-input N-output (N ≧ 2) optical splitter is stored in advance. An intermediate portion of a trunk cable (for example, an outdoor cable) and an end portion of a branch cable (for example, an indoor cable) are drawn into the cabinet with an optical splitter.
The intermediate portion of the trunk cable drawn into the cabinet with the optical splitter removes the jacket and exposes the core wire. Of the many optical fibers contained in this core, one optical fiber is cut and connected to the optical fiber on the input side of the optical splitter, but the other optical fibers are not cut and are moved inside the cabinet. Just pass through.
Further, the end portion of each branch cable drawn into the cabinet with the optical splitter removes the jacket to expose the optical fiber. The optical fiber of this branch cable is connected to the output side optical fiber of the optical splitter. The number of optical fibers contained in one branch cable is usually one or two.
Patent Document 1 discloses a technique for drawing a middle portion of a trunk cable and an end of a branch cable into a cabinet and connecting a part of the optical fiber on the trunk cable side and the optical fiber on the branch cable side in the cabinet. It is disclosed. However, this technique does not use an optical splitter, but connects the optical fiber on the main cable side and the optical fiber on the branch cable side on a one-to-one basis.
In the cabinet with an optical splitter, the extra length of the core of the trunk cable, the extra length of the branch cable, the extra length of connection between the optical fiber of the trunk cable and the input side optical fiber of the optical splitter, and the optical fiber of the branch cable and the optical splitter It is necessary to store extra connection length with the output side optical fiber. There are also a large number of optical fibers and branch cables on the output side of the optical splitter. For this reason, the inside of a cabinet tends to be complicated with an optical cable and an optical fiber, and it becomes easy to interfere with the optical fiber connection work and extra length storage work.
An object of the present invention is to provide a cabinet with an optical splitter capable of orderly storing an optical splitter, an extra length of a core cable, an extra length of a branch cable, and an extra length of each optical fiber in a narrow space.
An object of the present invention is to provide an optical splitter that can easily connect the optical fiber of the added branch cable to the output side optical fiber of the optical splitter when the branch cable is sequentially added due to an increase in subscribers. The purpose is to provide an enclosed cabinet.
The cabinet with an optical splitter according to the present invention is a cabinet containing an optical splitter that distributes a signal of one optical fiber in a trunk cable to a plurality of optical fibers of a plurality of branch cables,
A front-opening cabinet body that is attached to the wall surface, an intermediate board that is attached to the back plate of the cabinet body via a spacer so that there is a gap between the back plate, and the vertical direction of the front of the intermediate board A tray stack attached to the intermediate portion, a branch cable holder attached to the upper front of the intermediate substrate, and a cover that covers the cabinet body,
The intermediate board has smaller vertical and horizontal dimensions than the back plate of the cabinet body, and there is an open space of the back plate that does not overlap with the intermediate board around the intermediate board,
A portion of the lower wall that closes the lower surface side of the cabinet body is provided with an introduction portion of a trunk cable in a portion corresponding to one of the left and right open spaces of the back plate, and a branch cable is provided in a portion corresponding to the other open space. The introduction of
The one open space and the gap near the open space between the back plate and the intermediate board are the main line side surplus length storage area for storing the surplus length of the core wire of the main cable introduced from the main cable introduction section. The other open space, and the gap near the open space between the back plate and the intermediate substrate is a branch-side surplus length that stores the surplus length of the branch cable introduced from the branch cable introduction portion. It is a storage area,
An optical splitter is housed in one tray of the tray stack, and one of the multiple optical fibers of the main cable and the input side optical fiber of the optical splitter is stored in the other tray. The optical fiber connection portion is accommodated, and the optical trays on the output side of the optical splitter are separately accommodated in one or a plurality of trays, and the plurality of trays are accommodated in the plurality of trays. When the optical fiber on the output side of the optical splitter and the optical fiber of the branch cable are connected, the connection portion is stored.
It is characterized by this.
In the cabinet with an optical splitter according to the present invention, the tray stack is arranged in two groups on the left and right sides, and a connection portion between the tray for storing the optical splitter and the input side optical fiber of the optical splitter and the optical fiber of the trunk cable. It is preferable that two trays for storing the paper are arranged in the lowermost two layers of the tray stack near the main cable.
In the cabinet with an optical splitter of the present invention, the left and right side walls of the cabinet body are cut out, and the extra length of the core wire and the extra length of the branch cable are respectively set from the side of the cabinet body. It is preferable that the storage area and the branch line side extra length storage area can be stored.
Furthermore, in the cabinet with an optical splitter of the present invention, a holding member that holds the extra length of the core wire of the trunk cable is attached to the open space on the trunk cable side among the left and right open spaces on the back plate, and the open on the branch cable side is attached. It is preferable that a guide for guiding the branch cable to the open space above the back plate is attached to the space.
Furthermore, in the cabinet with an optical splitter of the present invention, it is preferable that the back plate and the intermediate substrate of the cabinet body are made of metal plates. Furthermore, it is preferable that the lower wall of the cabinet body is also made of a metal plate.
According to the present invention, the extra length of the core wire of the main line cable is the main line side constituted by the open space on the main line cable introduction part side of the back plate and the gap near the open space between the back plate and the intermediate board. It can be stored in the extra length storage area. Further, the surplus length of the branch cable can be stored in a branch line side surplus length storage area configured by an open space on the branch cable introduction portion side of the back plate and a gap near the open space between the back plate and the intermediate board. Therefore, the extra length of the core wire of the trunk cable and the extra length of the branch cable can be stored without overlapping. Moreover, the extra length of the core wire of the trunk cable stored in the trunk side surplus length storage area can be seen as an open space on the back panel, and the branch cable stored in the branch side surplus length storage area Since a part of the surplus length can be seen in the open space of the back plate, the storage state of the surplus length can be visually confirmed, and can be easily corrected when the storage state is not appropriate. When adding branch cables, store the extra length of the extra branch cable separately, or take out the extra length of the existing branch cable outside the cabinet and organize it including the extra length of the extra branch cable. The work of re-storing and storing can be easily performed.
The optical splitter is stored in advance in one tray, and the connection portion between the input side optical fiber of the optical splitter and one optical fiber of the trunk cable is stored in another tray, and the output side optical fiber of the optical splitter. Is stored in a plurality of trays other than the above, separately in one or a plurality, so when connecting the optical fiber of the branch cable to the optical fiber on the output side of the optical splitter, the two trays are There is no need to open, and it is possible to perform the connection work by opening only the tray in which the output side optical fiber to be connected is stored. Therefore, when pulling in the branch cable and connecting the optical fiber and storing the extra length, you can work without worrying about the optical fiber of the optical splitter or trunk cable at all, and you can avoid accidents such as disconnection. Occurrence can be prevented in advance.
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a cabinet with an optical splitter according to the present invention, and FIGS. 2 to 5 show components used in the cabinet of FIG. 6 to 8 show a state in which the optical splitter is accommodated in the cabinet of FIG. 1 and the trunk cable and the branch cable are introduced. In the figure, 10 is a cabinet body, and 12 is a cover that covers the
The
The
Each of the two sets of
The
The
As shown in FIG. 1 (D), the trunk
On the other hand, the branch
A holding
As shown in FIG. 8, an
For example, as shown in FIG. 10, the
A rubber packing 52 as shown in FIG. 4 is attached to a portion where the
Of the plurality of
The extra length of the
On the other hand, the 32 output side
In addition, the
The
The
In addition, the
