Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a technique for managing a recorded image that has been captured and stored by an electronic imaging device such as a digital camera.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In an electronic imaging device such as a digital camera, a captured subject image (captured image) can be stored and recorded in a storage recording memory such as a flash memory, and the recorded image can be taken out from the storage recording memory and played back / displayed during playback.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, an image processing apparatus such as an
[0003]
Transmitting recorded images from a digital camera to an external storage device (hereinafter referred to as an external device) equipped with an external memory is limited in that the flash memory of the digital camera is small and a large amount of images are stored and recorded at the beginning of the appearance of the digital camera. The digital camera captures the subject image and saves it in the flash memory, but the flash memory fills up quickly. So, after sending all the recorded images to a personal computer, etc., it was possible to delete the images recorded in the flash memory and record new images, or to send the images specified for the image application to the computer ( In this case, the transmitted image is usually deleted).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in a very short time after the digital camera began to be sold, the capacity of the flash memory has increased, the recording density has increased, and the processing speed has increased. Currently, more than three hundred images can be stored and stored depending on the model. In the near future, digital cameras that can store and record more images can be expected in the near future.
[0005]
In such a digital camera, the image can be stored and used by the digital camera, so as a case of transmitting a recorded image to an external device, an important image or an image that requires long-term storage is picked up and stored in the external device. Therefore, the recorded image may be sent to the personal computer to perform special image processing and use that cannot be done with a digital camera. However, as usual, it is sent for the purpose of alternative storage when the flash memory is full. There is not much need.
[0006]
In addition, in a digital camera having a large capacity / high recording density flash memory as described above, an application that uses an image can be executed by the digital camera. Therefore, even if an image is transmitted to an external device such as a personal computer. Unless the user designates deletion, the transmitted image is also left on the digital camera side.
[0007]
However, since the conventional digital camera cannot know which image is transmitted to which external device, and whether the transmitted image and the untransmitted image are different, the user repeatedly sends the same image to the same external device. There is a problem that an unsent image may be mistakenly deleted for a transmitted image.
[0008]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and a recorded image management method and electronic imaging capable of managing the transmission status and transmission destination of recorded images so as not to cause duplicate transmission of recorded images. The purpose is to provide a device.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problem, an electronic imaging device according to a first aspect of the present invention is an electronic imaging device including a storage recording memory that stores and records a captured image, for each image stored and recorded in the storage recording memory. On the other hand, image management means for registering transmission state identification information indicating whether or not the image has been transmitted to the external device, and image identification for identifying the image to be transmitted recorded in the storage recording memory Means, a transmission destination specifying means for specifying an external device that is a transmission destination of the image, a transmission means for transmitting the image specified by the image specifying means to the external device specified by the transmission destination specifying means, and the transmission Determining means for determining whether transmission of the specified image by the means to the specified external device is normal, and determining by the determination means that transmission by the transmitting means is normal. In this case, when the transmission state identification information indicating that the specified image has been transmitted to the specified external device is additionally registered in the image management unit, and it is determined that the transmission by the transmission unit is not normal Control is performed so that transmission state identification information indicating that the image has already been transmitted to the specified external device is not additionally registered in the image management unit even if the image is a transmission target of the transmission unit. And the transmission state identification information registered in the image management unit is extracted, and the image stored and recorded in the storage recording memory is normally transmitted to the external device specified by the specifying unit. comprising a transmitting state judging means for judging whether Taka not, the said transmission means further transmits to the external device at once more images recorded on the archival memory batch And signal means, characterized in that a selected transmission means for transmitting the image selected from among a plurality of images recorded on the archival memory in order.
[0012]
According to a sixteenth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a recorded image management method for storing and recording a captured image, and for each image stored and recorded in the stored recording memory, the image has been transmitted to an external device. A recording image management method for controlling an electronic imaging apparatus comprising image management means for registering transmission status identification information indicating whether or not the image is to be transmitted and recorded in the storage recording memory A specifying step of specifying an external device that is a transmission destination of the image, a transmitting step of transmitting the image specified by the specifying step to the external device specified by the specifying step, and the specifying by the transmitting step. A determination step of determining whether transmission of the received image to the specified external device is normal, and transmission by the transmission step is normal by the determination step If it is determined that the transmission state identification information indicating that the specified image has been transmitted to the specified external device is additionally registered in the image management means, the transmission in the transmission step is not normal. If it is determined, even if the image is a transmission target in the transmission step, transmission state identification information indicating that the image has been transmitted to the specified external device is additionally registered in the image management unit. A control step for controlling to prevent the transmission status identification information registered in the image management means from being extracted, and the image stored and recorded in the storage recording memory for the external device identified by the identifying step anda transmission state determination step of determining whether or not successfully transmitted, the transmitting step, a plurality of images recorded on the archival memory Characterized in that it executed the batch transmission step of transmitting to the external device Batch, either the selected transmission step of transmitting the image selected from among a plurality of images recorded on the archival memory sequentially .
