Description
Claims (16)
- タービンにより駆動するターボファンであって、前記ターボファンは、ガスタービンエンジンの運転条件により異なる可変速度で駆動され、空気流路は、前記ターボファンから空気流を受け、前記空気流路における空気は、熱交換器を通過し、前記熱交換器は、オイルを受け、前記オイルは、前記ガスタービンエンジンに備わる構成部品の少なくとも1つから前記熱交換器を通って伝えられるターボファンと、
前記ターボファンが、比較的低い速度で作動しており、そのため前記空気流路における前記空気流が比較的少ない場合に、前記熱交換器に亘って補助空気を選択的に供給する補助空気流システムと、
を備えるガスタービンエンジン。 - 前記補助空気流システムが、前記熱交換器に亘り空気を送る補助ファンを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記熱交換器に亘る付加的な空気流の必要性が運転条件により示された場合に、前記補助ファンを選択的に起動する制御部を、前記補助ファンが備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- バルブが、前記補助空気流の必要性が示されていない運転条件下において、前記補助ファンと前記熱交換器との間の連通を選択的に遮断することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記補助ファンが、前記バルブと補助空気供給源との間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記空気流路から空気を受けるとともに、前記熱交換器を通して前記空気を導く入口と、
前記熱交換器からの前記空気を導くとともに前記空気を前記空気流路に排出する出口と、を有する冷却ダクトをさらに備える請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジン。 - 補助空気流の必要性が示された場合に、前記補助空気が、前記冷却ダクトに流入し、少なくとも一対の間隔を隔てた熱交換器に亘って流れ、前記入口および前記出口の各々を通って前記空気流路に流入することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- 前記補助空気が、前記一対の間隔を隔てた熱交換器の中間位置で冷却ダクトに流入することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のガスタービンエンジン。
- ガスタービンエンジンの構成部品に滑油を供給するオイル供給ラインであって、前記オイル供給ラインが、熱交換器と連通し、前記熱交換器が、前記ガスタービンエンジンに備わるターボファンにより送られる空気の流路に位置するオイル供給ラインと、
前記ターボファンが、比較的低い速度条件で作動しており、前記熱交換器に亘る前記ターボファンにより発生した空気流が、比較的少ない場合に、前記熱交換器に亘って補助空気を選択的に供給する補助空気流システムと、
を備えるガスタービンエンジン用オイルシステム。 - 前記補助空気流システムが、前記熱交換器に亘り空気を送る補助ファンを備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のオイルシステム。
- 前記熱交換器に亘る補助空気流の必要性が運転条件により示された場合に、前記補助ファンを選択的に起動させる制御部を、前記補助ファンが備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のオイルシステム。
- 前記補助空気流の必要性が示されていない運転条件下において、バルブが、前記熱交換器に亘る前記補助ファンからの連通を選択的に遮断することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のオイルシステム。
- 前記補助ファンが、前記バルブと補助空気供給源との間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のオイルシステム。
- 前記空気流路から空気を受けるとともに、前記熱交換器を通して前記空気を導く入口と、
前記熱交換器からの前記空気を導くとともに前記空気を前記空気流路に排出する出口と、を有する冷却ダクトをさらに備える請求項9に記載のオイルシステム。 - 補助空気流の必要性が示された場合に、前記補助空気が、前記冷却ダクトに流入し、少なくとも一対の間隔を隔てた熱交換器に亘って流れ、前記入口および前記出口の各々を通って前記空気流路に流入することを特徴とする請求項14に記載のオイルシステム。
- 前記補助空気が、前記一対の間隔を隔てた熱交換器の中間位置で冷却ダクトに流入することを特徴とする請求項15に記載のオイルシステム。
