従来、照明器具のランプ不点通知機能や停電時の確認は、特許文献1に示すように、光源から入る光を受光する位置に、光ファイバーの先端受光部を配置し、同光ファイバーの他端をポールの下端近傍に設けた制御機器に接続し、また受光部からの信号を受けてLEDを点灯し、点検者はLEDを視認することにより、光源の点灯を昼間でも確認し得るように構成したものがある。
また例えばLEDを装着してなる足元灯は、特許文献2に示すように照明灯とは別に専用に構成するものが一般的である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記した従来技術によると、照明器具のランプ不点通知機能や専用の足元灯を構成する必要があり、構成が多岐にわたり、またコスト高となる欠点がある。また不点検知機能や停電時の光補償機能を有して照明器具を構成した場合、それらの機能が不用とされる構成では、別の構成の照明器具を用意しておく必要がある。

本発明は前記の内容に鑑みてなされたもので、ランプ不点検知機能、停電時の光補償機能及び足元灯としての機能を兼用することができ、また既存のポールに容易にランプ不点検知機能や足元灯としての機能を追加することができ、しかも比較的安価に構成することのできるポール型照明装置を提供することを目的とする。

請求項1に記載の発明は、ポールの上方部に照明具を支持し、同ポールの下端近傍に点検口を設け、同点検口に開閉蓋を開閉自在に支持し、また点検蓋の内側に制御回路を設け、さらに点検蓋に外面から視認し得るように補助ランプを設けてある。さらに照明具に装着してなる光源が不点になったとき、または光源を深夜に消灯若しくは減光したときに補助ランプを点灯するように構成してある。また点検蓋の内側に、点灯制御回路の他、バッテリーを配置し、電源が停電したときに、バッテリーを電源として補助ランプを点灯させるように構成してある。

上記のポール型照明装置によると、ランプ不点検知機能、停電時の光補償機能及び足元灯としての機能を兼用し、しかも簡単な構造で構成することができる。
また点検蓋を有する既存のポールにランプ不点検知機能、停電時の光補償機能、足元灯としての機能を簡単に追加することができる。また制御回路にタイマー機能をもたせることにより、深夜などの高い照度が不用の時間帯に光源を消灯もしくは減光させ、さらに補助ランプを点灯させることにより、省エネルギーを図りつつ、最低限の明るさを確保することが可能となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下本発明の実施例を図1乃至図4について説明する。図1乃至図4において、1は所望の箇所に照明具2を支持してなるポール、照明具2は例えば図3に示すように、ポールの頂部近傍に支持してある。また照明具2はポールの頂部近傍の他、ポールの中間付近に支持し、被照射面における照度を調整してもよい。照明具2の内部には、光源3を装着して構成してある。光源としては例えば高圧放電ランプを用いる。4はポール1の下端近傍に構成してなる点検口、5は点検口に開閉自在に支持してなる点検蓋である。同点検蓋5は一般的な照明用ポールの点検蓋と形状、大きさを同一に製作し、一般的な照明用ポールに特に改造を施さずに取り付け可能な構成としてある。6は点検蓋5の内側に支持てなる制御回路であって、タイマー機能を有して構成してある。また同制御回路は使用目的に応じて不点検知機能、停電検知機能を付加して構成する。7は点検蓋5の外面から視認し得るように配置してなる補助ランプであって、例えばLEDを用いて構成してある。8は点検蓋5の内面に設けてなるバッテリーである。
