本発明は、上記課題を解決すべくなされたものであり、本発明に係る釣り糸包装体は、釣り糸2が包装材3にて密封包装され、且つ、前記包装材3の内側には乾燥剤9が入れられてなる釣り糸包装体であって、前記釣り糸2は、半径方向の区画壁8によって区画された凹部6を形成したスプール1に巻回され、前記乾燥剤9は、凹部6に合った形状に成形されて凹部6内に嵌入されてなることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明に係る釣り糸包装体の一実施形態について、図1及び図2を参酌しつつ、スプール1に所定長さ巻回された釣り糸2がスプール1ごと包装フィルム3(包装材)で密封包装された釣り糸包装体について説明する。

まず、包装されているスプール1について説明すると、図1は、スプール1の中心軸方向裏面側(包装体の裏面側)から見た斜視図であり、該スプール1は、合成樹脂から透明又は半透明に成型により形成されたもので、全体として薄型円柱状に形成され、その中心軸方向両端には半径方向に突出したフランジ部4が形成され、図2の如く、両フランジ部4,4間の外周部5に前記釣り糸2が巻回されてなる。また、スプール1の裏面側には凹部6、詳細には、略扇状の凹部6が中央の貫通孔7を中心としてその回りに六ヶ所均等に形成されてなり、各々の凹部6を区画する半径方向の区画壁8はリブとして機能している。そして、各々の凹部6にはシリカゲルや塩化カルシウム等の乾燥剤9が入れられており、該乾燥剤9も略扇状に形成されて凹部6に嵌入されてなる。

かかるスプール1が釣り糸2と共に一体的に前記包装フィルム3にて密封包装されている。該包装フィルム3は、内部が目視確認可能なように透明又は半透明な合成樹脂フィルムから略方形状に形成され、周囲が接着されて密封状態となっており、内部は脱気若しくは真空状態となっている。尚、上部接着部10には吊下用孔11が形成され、スプール1の表側にはラベルAが貼着されてなる。

以上のように、密封包装されているので、外気との接触が遮断されて空気中の水分を釣り糸2が吸収して強度低下を起こす等の劣化を確実に防止できる。しかも、内部に乾燥剤9が入れられているので、内部に僅かに残った空気中の水分や包装フィルム3を僅かに通過した水分(水蒸気)もこの乾燥剤9にて吸収されるので、包装体内が常に乾燥状態に維持され、釣り糸2を初期状態に長期間維持できる。特に、ナイロン系の釣り糸2の場合に効果が大きい。従って、安心して購入でき、購入後の保存も安心であり、且つ、釣りに際しても釣り糸2の劣化によるラインブレイクを心配する必要がなくなる。

何れにしても、紫外線を遮断可能な包装フィルム3を用いる場合には、包装した釣り糸2を外部から目視確認できるようにする必要があるので、透明性と紫外線遮断性を併せ持つ合成樹脂フィルムを採用する必要がある。特に、紫外線吸収剤を添加したポリ塩化ビニリデンを採用すれば、透明性と紫外線遮断性に加えて、外部からの水蒸気の侵入をも防止するガスバリアー性も得られる。無論、ポリエチレンビニルアルコールを用いてもよく、ガスバリアー性を有する合成樹脂フィルムを用いることにより、上記乾燥剤9をなくすことも可能である。また、内層をシーラントフィルムとしたラミネートフィルムを用いれば、透明性や紫外線遮断性とヒートシール性を両立させることもできる。

また、スプール1自体を紫外線を遮断可能な合成樹脂(ポリカーボネート等)から成型により形成することも可能であり、更に、図4のように、釣り糸2の外周側に切欠部14を有して拡縮自在なリング状のストッパー15を両フランジ部4,4間に設けた場合には、該ストッパー15も紫外線を遮断可能な合成樹脂から形成することが好ましく、これにより、切欠部14から釣り糸2を確認できるうえに、スプール1とストッパー15とによって釣り糸2が紫外線から保護される。また、紫外線保護の目的のみなら、包装材で包装しなくとも、例えば、図4のようにスプール1のまま流通させることも可能である。但し、スプール1やストッパー15で紫外線を遮断する場合でも、包装材で密封包装して釣り糸2を空気中の水分から保護することが好ましい。

更に、包装フィルム3の形状自体も図1のような正面視略矩形のものに限定されず適宜設計変更可能であり、例えば、図5のように釣り糸2が巻回されたスプール1の外形に密着するよう真空包装するものであってもよい。

【発明の効果】
以上のように、本発明に係る釣り糸包装体にあっては、密封包装による外気との遮断と乾燥剤による吸湿の相乗効果により、外気との接触による劣化、特に空気中の水分を釣り糸が吸収してその強度が低下するという経時劣化を確実に防止でき、初期性能を長期間維持することができる。また、購入時における買い手の不安感も払拭でき、購入後においても、より一層長期間の保存が可能となり、且つ安心して釣りを行うことができる。
