Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a lancet device for launching a lancet, and more particularly to a lancet device that can safely remove a used lancet.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Diabetics may themselves measure blood sugar levels several times a day. At the time of this test measurement, it is necessary to obtain a small amount of blood from the fingertip. For this purpose, a disposable puncture needle called a lancet is used. A needle is installed at the tip of the lancet, and the needle punctures the skin, and bleeding from the punctured wound is used for the inspection.
[0003]
The lancet is launched with a dedicated lancet device. A typical lancet device is composed of a cylindrical main body part and a cap part as described in JP-A-59-160441, and has a spring part and a trigger part for driving the lancet. When in use, the lancet is launched by removing the cap, setting the lancet, fitting the cap, compressing the spring, and releasing the trigger. By placing a finger on the tip of the device, the punched lancet punctures the finger, and the lancet instantaneously retracts into the device.
[0004]
Because of the risk that bacteria and viruses that cause infections are transmitted via blood, the lancet is usually disposable, and the used lancet is discarded. At the time of disposal, the act of removing the cap part and removing the used lancet occurs.
[0005]
However, if the lancet is removed at the time of disposal, there is a risk that the fingertip may be stuck with the used lancet. Many users of lancet devices are blind because of diabetic complications, and the frequency of this accident is high. There are few problems for the same person to use one lancet device continuously, but there are cases where a plurality of people use one lancet device, which increases the risk of infection via blood.
[0006]
Conventionally, when removing a used lancet, the cap portion is removed, the tip of the exposed needle is covered with some disposable cover, and the lancet is extracted. The “cover” is a tissue paper or a resin protecting the needle portion of an unused lancet. However, when the user tries to cover the tip of the needle with the cover, the user may end up with a fingertip.
[0007]
Thus, several techniques have been devised for removing a used lancet from a lancet device after use without touching it. For example, U.S. Pat. No. 4,658,821 is not a cylindrical lancet device, but the used lancet is pushed out and removed by pushing the plunger behind the cylindrical lancet attachment. In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 56-161038, when a switch at the rear of the lancet device is pressed, the stopper at the lancet mounting portion is loosened, and the lancet is removed when it is dropped.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the present invention]
The aim of the present invention is to provide a safe lancet device that can be used to remove a used lancet without touching it directly by means that have never been seen before.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is a lancet device having a main body portion and a cap portion that is used while being attached to the main body portion at the time of puncturing, and a used lancet by pressing a part of the cap portion. Is fixed, and the used lancet is removed from the main body portion by removing the cap portion from the main body portion.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 7 shows a state in which the lancet device according to the present invention is used. After injecting the lancet, as shown in FIG. 4, the user takes the used lancet sandwiched between the caps to the top of the trash box together with the cap, and releases the pressure there. The cap that has been held down with your finger is simply removed from the fingertips while keeping the cap from falling, making it easy to aim on the trash can.
[0011]
The pressing means in the lancet device of the present invention may be a button penetrating the outer shell of the cap portion. That is, the user can remove the used lancet fixed via the button only by pulling the cap from the main body while pressing the button.
[0012]
It is more convenient to have an elastic member for returning the button to its original position after the disposal operation is completed by releasing the button. Of course, there is no problem even if the user pulls back the button head with his finger to return to the initial position.
[0013]
As another form, the cap part may be partially or entirely made of an elastic material (plastic resin, rubber member, etc.), and the used lancet may be fixed by pressing the cap part. In other words, it can be considered that this form is formed by integrating the button-shaped button portion and the elastic member.
[0014]
However, considering the strength at the time of connection between the cap portion and the main body portion, it is preferable that the main body connection portion of the cap portion has an appropriate rigidity.
[0015]
