本発明は、防毒マスクの有機ガス用吸収缶の交換時期を着用している装着者に知らせる交換時期検知装置を取り付けた防毒マスクに関する。

【従来技術】
防毒マスクには汚染された空気中の有害物質を吸着もしくは中和または触媒作用によって無毒化する吸収剤が収納されている吸収缶が設けられている。そして、吸収缶内の吸収剤の残存能力を知り、吸収缶の交換時期、即ち、使用限界を知ることは極めて重要なことである。そのため、吸収缶の破過を知るために種々の提案がなされている。例えば、吸収缶に検知紙又は検知管を組み込み,ガスとの反応による変色から吸収缶の限界を知る方法や、防毒マスクに電子回路を利用したセンサーを組込み、吸収缶の交換時期に達したことを知らせる方法等があるが、何れも個々のガスに対する吸収缶の破過を検出しようとしていたため実用化されているものはない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような事情のもとで、本発明者は有機ガス用吸収缶の交換時期を容易に知らせる交換時期検知装置を種々検討した結果、本発明を完成したもので、本発明の目的は有機ガス用吸収缶に取付可能な交換時期検知装置を提供する。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本願の請求項1の発明は 有機ガス用吸収缶の交換時期検知装置を有する防毒マスクにおいて、該防毒マスクの材質はNBR、天然ゴム、塩化ビニル又は熱可塑性プラスチックからなる群から選ばれたガスセンサーに影響を与えない材質で構成され、且つ、前記交換時期検知装置はLED等の発光体を着用者が見やすい防毒マスクの一部に取りつけを組み込んであると共にガスセンサーを組み込んだアダプターを有し、該ガスセンサーはトルエンの濃度が10〜30ppmの場合に相当する有機物質に対して警報を発することを特徴とする塗装用防毒マスクである。また、請求項2の発明は、有機ガス用吸収缶の交換時期検出装置を有する塗装用防毒マスクにおいて、前記交換時期検出装置はガスセンサーを組み込んだアダプターを有するものであって、且つ、前記アダプターを防毒マスクと有機ガス用吸収缶の間に取り付けられていることを特徴とする塗装用防毒マスクである。請求項3の発明はガスセンサーの交換が可能な吸収缶の交換時期を知らせることを特徴とする塗装用防毒マスクである。そして、前記ガスセンサーが、トルエンの濃度が10〜30ppmの場合に相当する有機物質に対して警報を発するようなセンサーであることが好ましく、更に、ガスセンサー自体の交換が可能ことが好ましい。そして、これらの防毒マスクの材質は、NBR、天然ゴム、塩化ビニルなどの熱可塑性プラスチックからなる群から選ばれたガスセンサーに影響を与えない材質であることが好ましい。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明について説明する。
本発明において使用するLED(発光ダイオード)等の発光体を組み込んだ交換時期検知装置とはLED等の発光体よりなる検知部と警報部とをリード線で接続した装置であって、有機ガス用吸収缶の交換時期が近づき交換時期が近いことき警報を発すると共に発光体によって着用者に知らせる装置である。そして、この装置を着用者が見やすい防毒マスクの任意の場所、例えば防毒マスクの締め紐の側方に取り付ける。
又、本発明においては他の交換時期検知装置として、センサー組み込んだアダプターを有する装置を使用する。センサーとしては熱線型半導体式センサー等からなり、破過時間に至ったときに警報を発するものが好ましい。そして、センサーはアダプターにねじ込む構造とすることが好ましい。
使用したセンサーの出力としては、一般的な塗装用には10〜30ppmのトルエンに反応する出力とすることが好ましい。各種有機物の破過時間に対する警報を発する時間の割合の一例を表1に示す。破過時間に対する警報を発する時間の割合は式(1)によって表され、式(1)における破過時間測定条件は国家検定に準じる。

本発明の防毒マスクは上記のLED等の発光体を組み込んだ交換時期検知装置或いはガスセンサーを組み込んだ交換時期検知装置の何れか一方を取り付けたものでもよく、又両方の交換時期検出装置を取り付けたものでもよい。
そして、防毒マスクの材質としては特に限定されるものではないが、シリコンゴムなどのような材質はセンサーに影響を与えるので、センサーに影響のないNBR、天然ゴム、塩化ビニルなどの熱可塑性エラストマーを使用することが好ましい。

次に本発明の実施例として図面をもって具体的に示す。
図1は本発明に係る防毒マスクの側面図である。図1において、マスク1の前方にアダプター2を介して有機ガス用吸収缶3を設け、アダプター2にはセンサー4をねじ込んである。又、防毒マスク1の側方の締め紐5の近傍に発光ダイオードLEDを組み込んだ検知装置7を設け、この検知装置よりリード線8をもって警報部9に繋ぎ、警報部には警報ブザーを設ける。
このような防毒マスクであるので、有機ガス用吸収缶の交換時期時期が到来したときにはがガスセンサーによって警報が発せられると共に本体から配線を用いて接続されたLEDなどの発光体によって知らせ、なおかつその発光体はマスク着用者によって認識することが出来るので、着用者は確実に有機ガス用吸収缶の交換時期を知ることが出来る。

【発明の効果】
以上述べたように、本発明はLED等の発光体を組み込んだ検出装置或いはガスセンサーを組み込んだアダプターを有する検出装置若しくはこの両者の検出装置を設けた防毒マスクであり、この防毒マスクは従来のものに比して有機ガス用吸収缶の交換時期を確実に感知することが出来るので、着用者に取って安全な防毒マスクである。
