本発明はアース線を接続するためのアース線接続端子を設けた電気湯沸かし器に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
電気製品に対する規格によりアース線を接続するためのアース線接続端子を電気湯沸かし器に設けなければならない場合がある。このような場合の電気湯沸かし器は図8および図9に示すような構造が一般的であった。すなわち、1は上方を開口した水を入れる容器で、容器1の底には電気ヒーター2が取り付けられている。3は容器1を覆う樹脂製の外枠で、外枠3の底面には開口部4が設けられ、開口部4は裏板5で覆われている。6は金属製の遮熱板で容器1に固定され、遮熱板6には容器1に外枠3をセットした後に金属製のアース金具7が取り付けられる。アース金具7にはめねじを有したアース線接続端子8が固着され、このアース線接続端子8は外枠3の側面に設けた貫通孔9に内側から挿入される。10はアース線11をアース線接続端子8に取り付ける固定ねじである。アース線11をアース線接続端子8にねじ留めするとアース金具7および遮熱板6を介して、電気ヒーター2を備えた容器1がアース接続される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記従来の構成では容器1を外枠3内にセットした後にアース金具7を遮熱板6に取り付けなければならず狭い部分で作業をするため組み立てがやりにくいといったことや、容器1と外枠3の互いの位置がずれるとアース線接続端子10を貫通孔11に挿入することができず組み立てができないといった課題を有していた。

本発明はこのような従来の課題を解決するものであり、組み立てやすく、さらに容器と外枠の位置ずれに関係なく組み立てができるようにすることを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明は、アース線接続端子と一体で容器と導電性のリード線で接続されたアース金具を導電性材料で形成し、前記アース金具を外枠底面のアース金具保持部に挟持させ抜け止め保持したものである。

これにより、アース金具の取り付けは予め外枠にでき組み立てが容易となる。また、アース金具は外枠に直接固定され接続手段のリード線で着脱自在に接続されているため、容器の位置に関係なく組み立てをすることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項1記載の発明は、充電部を備えた水を収容する容器と、前記容器を囲み底面を開口してアース金具保持部を一体に設けた外枠と、前記外枠の側面に設けた貫通孔と、アース線接続端子と一体で前記アース金具保持部に係止する係止部を設けた導電性のアース金具と、前記アース金具を電気的に接続する着脱自在な導電性の接続手段とを備え、前記アース金具を前記外枠のアース金具保持部に挟持させるとともに前記貫通孔に前記アース線接続端子を挿入して抜け止め保持したもので、アース金具の取り付けは予め外枠にすることができ組み立てが容易となる。また、アース金具は外枠に直接固定されているため、容器の位置に関係なく組み立てをすることができる。

図1は本発明の実施例1の電気湯沸かし器の下部断面を示す図、図2は同電気湯沸かし器の要部拡大断面を示す図、図3は同電気湯沸かし器のアース金具とアース線接続端子の平面図である。図1から図3において、21は上方を開口した水を入れる容器で、容器21の底にはヒーター22が取り付けられている。23は容器21を覆う樹脂製の外枠で、外枠23の底面23aには開口部24が設けられ、開口部24は金属製の裏板25で覆われている。26はめねじを有したアース線接続端子で、アース線接続端子26は外枠23の側面に設けた貫通孔27に内側から挿入される。28はアース線接続端子26を取り付けたアース金具で、弾性のある導電性の材料で略コ字状の係止部に爪29が形成されている。外枠23の底面23aにはアース線接続端子26を貫通孔27に挿入した時にアース金具に挟持されるアース金具保持部23bが一体に形成されている。アース金具保持部23bには凹部30が設けられている。31は容器21に固定された遮熱板39に接続されたリード線で、その一端はアース金具28に設けられたタブ端子32に接続される。33はアース線34をアース線接続端子26に取り付ける固定ねじである。

次に、前述した電気湯沸かし器の作用について説明する。アース金具28を外枠23のアース金具保持部23bに取り付ける時には、アース金具保持部23bにアース金具28のコ字状の開口部をスライドさせる。すると、アース金具28はまず係止部となる爪29の分だけ広がり、爪29が凹部30の所までくると弾性で戻り、アース金具28は抜けなくなる。その結果、アース金具28はアース金具保持部23bに抜け止め保持され、アース金具28が固定された状態で外枠23を取り扱うことができる。容器21と外枠23を組み立てる時には、アース金具28が組み付けられた外枠23を容器21に被せ、リード線31をタブ端子32に接続する。そして、アース線34をアース線接続端子26に接続するとアース金具28、リード線31、遮熱板39を介して、容器21がアース接続される。

【発明の効果】
前記実施例から明かなように、アース金具を外枠底部に挟持させ抜け止め保持したもので、アース金具の取り付けは容器にセットする前の外枠に予め組み付けることができ組み立てが容易となる。また、アース金具は外枠に直接固定されているため、容器の位置に関係なく組み立てをすることができる。
