本発明は、魚釣りに用いる釣り糸の接続部分に用いる接続具兼用撚り戻し具である。本発明は、釣り糸であるところの通称ミチイトやミキイト及びハリスやエダスなどの接続部分に用いる事により、これらの接続が簡単に出来る事と、接続部分における釣り糸の結節強度の低下を極力抑え、更には釣り糸の撚りや撚れを防ぐものである。 本発明は、金属や強化プラスチックなどの材質で形成された本体(1)の平面と底面には、釣り糸を通す孔(2)が2箇所にそれぞれ対称して貫通してある。 この孔の入り口側は、本体(1)の平面と底面に対称して、それぞれが本体(1)の軸心にある。 この軸心から約10度の角度で斜めに貫通したこの孔の反対側である釣り糸の出口側もそれぞれが対称して本体(1)の軸心からずらした位置にしてある。 この孔(2)の壁面に階段状の段差を付けたり、テーパー状の角度を付ける事で、孔(2)の径は、入り口側が大きくて出口側が小さく形成される。
本発明はこのように、本体(1)に釣り糸を接続するためと、釣り糸の撚りや撚れを戻すための特殊な孔(2)を有している事を特徴とした、釣り糸接続兼用撚り戻し具である。

本発明の技術分野としては、魚釣りに用いる釣り糸の接続具であり、撚り戻し具でもあるから、サルカンもしくはスイベルと称される釣具の部品類に属する。
【従来の技術】

従来の接続具であるサルカン(スイベル)は、50年以上も前の文献にも示されている事から、かなり古くから使われてきたものであるが、その全てが金属製であり、その基本的形状は図6で示すように、全てのサルカンがその上下に釣り糸を結ぶ為の管がついていた。 この上下の管は互いに干渉する事無く、上下が個々に別々に回転する事により、釣り糸の撚りを戻す構造となっていた。
【発明が解決しようとする課題】

従来のサルカン(スイベル)には次のような欠点があった。 接続具として用いる場合には釣り糸をサルカンの上下の管に結びつける必要があったが、その結び方は初心者には難しく、結び方が悪いと滑って釣り糸が解けたり、金属の管に釣り糸を結ぶ関係で、引っ張る力を加えると釣り糸の結び目が締め込む為に釣り糸がつぶれて釣り糸が切れやすい。 撚り戻し作用としての効果も釣り糸に一定の撚りが生じてサルカンの管に回転の力が加わらないと撚り戻し機構が作動しない。 材質が金属であり構造的にも複雑であっために錆びやすく高価であり形状が必要以上に大きくなる。 また、小さなウキなどを用いる繊細な釣りや釣りの対象魚が小さい場合など、サルカン本体の必要以上な大きさと重さからして、ウキによる魚の当たりを感知するのに不都合が生じたり、魚の食い込みが悪くなるなどの致命的な欠点があったので、これらを改善する必要があった。

本発明の構造は、図1〜図5で示す通り、従来のサルカン(スイベル)の両端にある管を取り除いた様な形にしたものであるから、形状的にも従来よりかなりコンパクトでしかもシンプルにしたものである。 従来のサルカンに有した両端の釣り糸を結びつける管の代りに、本発明では本体(1)に特有な2箇所の孔(2)を設けたもので、この孔に釣り糸を通して釣り糸が抜けない様に釣り糸の端にコブ状の結び目をつけるだけで使用できる構造にしたものである。

本発明の形態や実施例を図面で説明すると、図1〜図5に示すところの概略して俵形状の本体(1)に、特有なテーパー状の孔(2)が貫通して有するものである。 図4は釣り糸を通して本発明の釣り糸接続具兼用撚り戻し具を使用した状態の実施例である。 図5は釣針を2本使用する場合や孫針を付ける時、及び毛針や疑似餌針を作る場合の実施例である。
【発明の効果】

このような構造であるから、従来のものと比較しても接続部分の釣り糸の結び方が簡単であり、結び目が解ける事もなく結び目が切れやすい欠点も解消する。本発明の構造からして、釣り糸がサルカンを回すのではなく、釣り糸そのものが本発明の本体である本体の孔の内部においてそれぞれ回るので、釣り糸の撚りが発生し難く、発生したとしてもその解消は早い。 また、形状自体がコンパクトでありシンプルになるため、安価で製造が可能となり、水中での抵抗も少なく、材質を強化プラスチック系にすれば、比重や錆の問題も解消するうえに形状と構造からして強度面での心配もない。 また、このプラスチックの素材に夜光や発光剤を練り込めば、発明本体そのものに集魚効果も期待出来る。 更には図5に示すように、従来のサルカンとは異なり本発明品の使途方法により応用が広がるため、その利用価値は更に高まるものである。 また、釣り糸を挿入する側の孔の位置がいずれも本体(1)の軸心にあり、しかもその径が大きい事により釣り糸が通し易くなるばかりでなく、釣り糸(3)と(4)に引っ張りの力が加わった時に、孔の貫通角度からして、釣り糸の(3)と(4)が直線になる効果がある事と、本体(1)には平均した負荷がかかる為に破損しにくく、撚り戻し効果も均等になる利点と効果がある。 また、孔(2)の壁面を階段状に段差をつけてしかもテーパー状にした事により、釣り糸が孔の内部の壁面と接する部分が少なくなる事で摩擦抵抗を極力抑える効果と、更には釣り糸を通すテーパー状の孔が内部に水を呼び込む事により、水が潤滑油と同じ効果を発揮するために、抵抗が減少して釣り糸の回転がスムーズとなり、釣り糸の撚り戻し効果が向上するなどの大きな利点がある。
