BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a protective cover for water pipes.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in order to supply tap water to each house, water pipes are buried in the ground from the water main to each house. A polyethylene pipe is usually used for the water pipe because of its light weight, flexibility, and excellent seismic resistance, and a single-layer pipe having a nominal diameter of 25 mm or less is widely used. The water pipes are often buried in the ground 50 to 80 cm underground.
[0003]
In particular, in a house in a cold region, a kerosene tank is provided outdoors, and a kerosene pipe extending from the tank is buried in the ground and drawn indoors to be used as fuel. For this kerosene pipe, a coated copper pipe or bare copper pipe with a diameter of about 8 mm is used, and it is buried in the ground 10-30 cm underground.
[0004]
Here, since the contractors are different between the water pipe and the kerosene pipe, the positional relationship between the two pipes is generally not considered. Therefore, even if the water supply pipe and the kerosene pipe are not embedded in parallel in the vertical direction, it sometimes occurs that the kerosene pipe is located above the water supply pipe.
[0005]
When the water pipe and the kerosene pipe are in such a positional relationship, there is a problem that the tap water has an oily odor. This is because the kerosene pipe's copper pipe corrodes into the soil, creating a through hole that is about the size of a needle hole. As a result, a small amount of kerosene that cannot be detected as a leak leaks into the soil and penetrates deep into the ground. It is estimated that kerosene reaches the water pipe.
[0006]
Therefore, measures are taken such as changing the water pipe from polyethylene pipe to steel pipe, and inserting a conventional polyethylene pipe into the steel pipe as a protective pipe, but because the steel pipe is not flexible, it can be bent or The degree of freedom when piping to warp is small, and workability at the time of embedding is very bad. For this reason, the market demand for polyethylene pipes is still large.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and provides a water pipe protective cover that covers a water pipe made of a polyethylene pipe with good workability at the time of embedding so that the tap water does not have an oily odor. To do.

Here, the kerosene penetration resistance test performed using the protective cover for water pipes will be described. The test was conducted as follows.
1. Outline of Test Method Prepare a sample of a double-layered pipe, a polyethylene standard pipe for water pipes with a nominal diameter of 20 mm, and a surface covered with a protective cover for water pipes, and fix the sample in a U-shape. Put kerosene into the container and leave the sample immersed in kerosene for about 2 years. In the meantime, tap water is put into the polyethylene pipe of the sample periodically (after 4, 7, 21 months) and left for a whole day and night. After a day and night, the internal tap water is taken out and the odor of the water is evaluated. In addition, as for the protective cover for water supply pipes, one each having the structure of the protective cover for

2-2. Odor and taste The odor and taste of kerosene are confirmed by the odor and taste test method specified in the dissolution test of JIS K 6762.
[0020]
The results of the test are shown in Table 1.
[0021]
[Table 1]
[0022]
As can be seen from Table 1, if water pipes are covered with a protective cover for water pipes, kerosene will not permeate even if they are immersed in kerosene for about two years, and petroleum odor will not be given to tap water. I understood.
[0023]
Next, an example of the construction method of the water pipe protective cover will be described. The construction of the protective cover for water pipes may be performed on new pipes or on existing pipes.
1. In the case of a new pipe First, the protective cover for water pipe is cut with a cutter knife or the like to the total length of the length of the water pipe to be covered and the length of the joint (such as cheese) attached to both ends. Next, the water pipe protective cover is put on the water pipe. Then, a water pipe with a water pipe protective cover is placed in the excavated groove, the water pipe protective cover is shifted to expose one end of the water pipe, and a joint is attached. Similarly, a joint is also attached to the other end of the water pipe. Then, the water pipe protective cover is shifted so that the water pipe and the joints at both ends thereof are covered. In addition, it is preferable to seal both ends of the protective cover for water supply piping. For example, an anticorrosion tape or the like is wrapped around a water pipe protective cover and a joint and sealed.
2. In the case of existing piping Remove the fittings or appliances of the water pipe section that you want to cover with the water pipe protective cover from the water pipe. Next, dirt such as mud from the removed water pipes, joints and appliances is sufficiently removed, and a protective cover for water pipes cut to a predetermined length is put on like the new pipes. Others are the same as the case of the said newly installed piping.
[0024]
The water pipe protective cover is not limited to one obtained by heat-pressing two laminated films such as the water pipe
[0025]
Furthermore, the protective cover for water supply pipes may be a substantially cylindrical shape (not shown) in which three or more laminate films are arranged in a line in the length direction or circumferential direction of the water supply pipe, and the ends are fused together. good. In addition, the size, shape, and the like of the protective cover for water pipes are not limited to those shown here, and may be appropriate according to the size, shape, etc. of the water pipe.
[0026]
【The invention's effect】
As shown and described above, according to the protective cover for water pipes in this invention, the protective cover for water pipes consists of a laminate film in which at least a resin layer and a metal layer are laminated in a substantially cylindrical shape. The kerosene that has oozed out from the kerosene pipe is not allowed to pass through, and the tap water in the water pipe can be prevented from having an oily odor. Furthermore, since the water pipe protective cover is sufficiently flexible, it does not impair the degree of freedom in bending polyethylene water pipes or bending them up and down. Compared with oil odor countermeasures by, the workability at the time of burial can be improved. Further, if the surface resin layer is laminated on the surface of the metal layer, the corrosion of the metal layer can be prevented and the effect of preventing the petroleum odor from being given to the tap water can be maintained for a long period of time.
