【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】

また、特開平５−３４５００１号公報、特開平７−１６３６２０号公報及び特開平７−１１２００７号公報には、吸収性物品の左右両側縁から外方に延出されるように配されたシート材に複数のひも状の弾性部材が配されて、吸収性物品の上方に起立される一対の防漏壁が形成された吸収性物品が提案されている。

しかし、上述の各提案に係る吸収性物品では、上記の従来技術における防漏部では、漏れ防止効果と違和感のない良好な装着感の両方を満足することはできない。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、肌当接面を形成する液透過性の表面層、液不透過性の裏面層、及び該表面層と該裏面層との間に介在された液保持性の吸収層を有する実質的に縦長の吸収性物品において、吸収性物品の左右両側には、それぞれ、複数本のひも状の弾性部材が、吸収性物品の長手方向に向けて伸長された状態で配設されており、該弾性部材の収縮により肌当接面側に凸の凸曲面形状の立体形態が形成されている吸収性物品を提供することにより、上記目的を達成したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の生理用ナプキンの好ましい一実施形態について説明する。本実施形態の生理用ナプキン１は、図１〜３に示すように、肌当接面を形成する液透過性の表面層としての表面シート２、液不透過性の裏面層としての裏面シート３、及び該表面シート２と該裏面シート３との間に介在された液保持性の吸収層としての吸収体４を有し、実質的に縦長の形状をしている。

肌触り等の点では、メルトブローン不織布、サクションヒードボンド不織布、スパンボンド不織布等の乾式不織布が好ましく、防漏性を高めるために撥水性であることが望ましい。
上記弾性部材５としては、細長く、伸び縮みする材料であればよく、天然ゴム（糸状ゴム、平ゴム等）、熱可塑性エラストマー〔ウレタン、エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体（ＥＶＡ）、ＰＥ等〕、更に具体的には、ポリブタジエン、ポリイソプレン、スチレン−ブタジエン共重合体、スチレン−イソプレン共重合体、ポリウレタン、エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体、エチレン−αオレフィン共重合体等を糸状に成形するか又はフィルムに成型し細幅にスリットしたものが挙げられる。
