TB =P×F×2×μ×G
TE=(TP+d)/(RF×RT×t×K)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention belongs to the technical field of a turning behavior control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle capable of limiting the rotational difference between front and rear wheels such as an off-road four-wheel drive vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, when traveling in a four-wheel drive state where the center differential is locked, instead of normal vehicle behavior control in a two-wheel drive state,
(1)Change the amount of braking torque in vehicle behavior control.
(2)Stop the braking torque control in the vehicle behavior control.
(3)Even if the braking torque control in the vehicle behavior control is stopped, the engine torque reduction in the vehicle behavior control is executed.
(See, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2000-344077 A (second page).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional turning behavior control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle, as listed below, each countermeasure has the following problems.
(a) the above(1)May be unable to be controlled to the target yaw rate by changing the brake control amount. In other words, even when the vehicle behavior is shifting to an oversteer tendency or an understeer tendency, even if the brake control amount is changed, the braking torque rotates around the opposite axis of the front axis and the rear axis where the brake control intervenes. It will be crowded.
(b)the above(2)Since the braking torque control is stopped during four-wheel drive, it is not possible to perform a control that substantially stabilizes the turning behavior. That is, in a situation where the behavior of the vehicle is shifting to an oversteer tendency or an understeer tendency, the vehicle behavior cannot be suppressed.
(c)the above(3)Because the yaw moment is not generated just by reducing the engine torque, and the yaw rate control that suppresses the turning behavior of the oversteer tendency or the understeer tendency cannot be performed.(b)Similarly to the above, it is impossible to perform a control that substantially stabilizes the turning behavior.
[0005]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above problem, and tends to oversteer while maintaining the four-wheel drive state and the braking torque control when turning in the four-wheel drive state in which the differential of the front and rear wheels is limited. Another object of the present invention is to provide a turning behavior control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle capable of ensuring the effectiveness of turning behavior control that suppresses an understeer tendency.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention,
In a turning behavior control device that is applied to a four-wheel drive vehicle capable of limiting the rotation difference between the front and rear axles and controls the turning behavior of the vehicle,
Braking torque control means for controlling the braking torque to be independently applied to each wheel in order to control the turning behavior according to the turning state of the vehicle independently of the braking operation by the driver;
Independent of the accelerator operation by the driverDesperateDrive source output control means for controlling the output of the power source;
When the vehicle is in a four-wheel drive state in which the differential of the front and rear axles is restricted, and the turning behavior is controlled by applying braking torque to the left and right wheels of the front and rear axles by the braking torque control means.,in frontControl amount of braking torqueBased on the amount of drive torque increase excluding the friction loss of the braking torque wrap-around path when the braking torque is transmitted from the wheel to the wheel of the other axleDrive torque correction means for performing drive torque correction to increase the output of the drive source;
Equipped with.
[0007]
Here, the “four-wheel drive vehicle capable of limiting the rotational difference between the front and rear wheels” is not only a vehicle that can realize a rigid four-wheel drive state, such as an off-road four-wheel drive vehicle, but also, for example, according to an acceleration slip amount. On-demand four-wheel drive vehicle (hydraulic clutch or electromagnetic clutch type, viscous coupling type, mechanical type, etc.) that can adjust the drive torque distribution from the two-wheel drive state to the four-wheel drive state, giving braking torque to one of the front and rear wheels In which the braking torque is transmitted to the other of the front and rear wheels via a transfer (= the one that can limit the rotational difference between the front and rear wheels).
[0008]
The “drive torque correction means”, SystemThe output increase amount of the drive source may be set according to the friction loss of the dynamic torque wrap-around path and the friction loss of the drive torque transmission path.
[0009]
Therefore, in the four-wheel drive vehicle turning behavior control device of the present invention, in the four-wheel drive state, the braking torque applied for behavior control is provided.ofTo the opposite axisofThe four-wheel drive state and braking torque control are maintained while turning in the four-wheel drive state in which the differential of the front and rear wheels is limited by canceling the wraparound by the drive torque correction that increases the output of the drive source. Therefore, it is possible to ensure the effectiveness of the turning behavior control that suppresses the oversteer tendency and the understeer tendency.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[Turning behavior control processing during four-wheel drive]
FIG. 2 is a flowchart showing the flow of the turning behavior control process during four-wheel drive executed by the VDC / TCS /
[0025]
In step S1, a switch signal (2WD mode signal, AUTO mode signal, rigid 4WD mode signal) from the
[0026]
In step S2, it is determined whether the signal read in step S1 is a rigid 4WD mode signal. If YES, the process proceeds to step S3. If NO, the process proceeds to return.
[0027]
In step S3, the VDC operation flag (VDC ACT FLG) is read, and the process proceeds to step S4. This VDC operation flag is a signal output from the VDC / TCS /
[0028]
In step S4, the VDCMovementIt is determined whether or not it is a start. If YES, the process proceeds to step S5. If NO, the process proceeds to return. Here, VDC ACT FLG = 1 (VDC operation) and VDC ACT FLG = 0 (VDC non-operation).
[0029]
In step S5, a target engine torque (ETQTCS) signal is read, and the process proceeds to step S6. Here, the target engine torque (ETQTCS) is a torque requested from the VDC / TCS /
[0030]
In step S6, it is determined whether an engine torque down command is issued from the VDC / TCS /
[0031]
In step S7, the target braking torque (TB) on the VDC control side is read, and the process proceeds to step S8. Here, when the brake control command is issued on the VDC control side, the target braking torque TB (≧ 0) is read. The target braking torque TB can be calculated by the following formula.
TB = P × F × 2 × μ × G
Where P: target wheel cylinder pressure, F: caliper pressure receiving area, μ: pad friction coefficient, G: disk effective radius.
[0032]
In step S8, it is determined whether or not the target braking torque TB is TB ≧ 0. If YES, the process proceeds to step S9, and if NO, the process proceeds to step S12. That is, if the target braking torque TB is TB <0, no brake control command is issued, so only engine torque down control is performed, and no interference due to braking occurs, so there is no need to correct the engine torque down amount. On the other hand, if the target braking torque TB is TB ≧ 0, a brake control command has been issued, and engine torque down control + brake control by correction is performed.
[0033]
In step S9, the drive torque increase amount TP is calculated from the target braking torque TB and the friction loss D of the drive shaft (the friction loss of the braking torque wrapping path) (TP = TB-D), and the process proceeds to step S10.
[0034]
In step S10, the engine torque increase amount TE is calculated based on the drive torque increase amount TP obtained in step S9, and the process proceeds to step S11. Here, the engine torque increase amount TE is calculated by the following equation.
TE = (TP + d) / (RF × RT × t × K)
Where d: friction loss of propeller shaft (friction loss of drive torque transmission path), RF: final gear ratio, RT: transmission gear ratio, t: torque converter torque ratio (torque converter is directly connected at rigid 4WD, The relationship between torque control input and torque control output is 1), and K: power transmission efficiency (K = transmission gear specific efficiency + final drive gear specific efficiency).
[0035]
In step S11, based on the target engine torque ETQTCS and the engine torque increase amount TE obtained in step S10, an engine torque correction value TEE is calculated by the equation TEE = ETQTCS + TE, and the process proceeds to step S12. In this step, the
[0036]
In step S12, if the target braking torque TB is TB <0, the engine torque down control is executed with the amount obtained by subtracting the target engine torque (ETQTCS) from the current engine torque as the torque reduction amount. If ≧ 0, the engine torque reduction control is executed with the amount obtained by subtracting the engine torque correction value TEE (ETQTCS + TE) from the current engine torque as the torque reduction amount. That is, the engine torque is corrected to be increased by the engine torque increase amount TE when TB ≧ 0, compared to the torque when TB <0 (= target engine torque).
[0037]
Steps S9, S10, and S11 correspond to drive torque correction means.
[0038]
[VDC control action in 2WD vehicles]
In the VDC control in the 2WD vehicle, the target side slip amount is calculated from the driver's steering operation amount obtained from the
[0039]
Then, according to the deviation between the target side slip amount and the actual side slip amount of the vehicle, the VDC / TCS /
[0040]
In other words, the degree of understeering or oversteering of the vehicle is determined from the deviation between the target skid amount and the actual skid amount of the vehicle. If the vehicle is understeering or oversteering, adjusting the brake braking torque and engine output By the control, control is performed so that the side slip amount of the vehicle matches the target side slip amount.
[0041]
For example, when it is determined that there is a large oversteer tendency during a lane change on a slippery road surface, the engine output is controlled according to the degree, and the braking force of the four wheels is controlled to generate an oversteer suppression moment. Reduce the oversteer tendency. Here, the oversteer suppressing moment (force for suppressing oversteer) is generated, for example, by applying a braking force to the front wheel on the turning outer wheel side.
[0042]
Further, when it is determined that the understeer tendency is large when turning on a slippery road surface, the brake force of the four wheels is controlled according to the degree, and an understeer suppression moment is generated to reduce the understeer tendency. Here, the understeer suppression moment (force for suppressing understeer) is generated, for example, by applying a braking force to the rear wheel on the turning inner wheel side.
[0043]
[4WD vehicle VDC control action]
When the VDC control of the 2WD vehicle is applied to a 4WD vehicle as it is, the braking torque applied to one side of the left and right front wheels or one side of the left and right rear wheels by the VDC control is transferred to the other axle (front axle → rear axle, There is a possibility that the effect of stabilizing the vehicle will be reduced by going around from the rear axle to the front axle.
[0044]
For example, when performing oversteer suppression control by applying braking torque to the left front wheel by VDC control during a right turn that is likely to become oversteer, as shown by 2WD on the left side of FIG. In this case, the moment that suppresses oversteer around the center of gravity of the vehicle is applied by the braking torque applied to the left front wheel, and the actual travel line is along the target line.
[0045]
On the other hand, as shown by 4WD on the right side of FIG. 3, in the case of a four-wheel drive vehicle, when braking torque is applied to the left front wheel by VDC control, the braking torque applied to the left front wheel is transferred to the rear axle via the transfer. Wrap aroundYaDue to the differential, equal braking torque acts on the left and right rear wheels. Note that braking torque is not transmitted from the left front wheel to the right front wheel because there is a front differential that allows differential.
[0046]
Therefore,(1)The braking force transmitted from the left front wheel to the left and right rear wheels reduces the lateral force that the left and right rear wheels can produce.(2)The braking torque transmitted from the left front wheel to the left and right rear wheels generates a moment that promotes oversteer. The actual driving line shows an oversteer tendency than the target line..
[0047]
Also, when understeer suppression control is performed by applying braking torque to the right rear wheel by VDC control during a right turn that is likely to cause understeer, in the case of a two-wheel drive vehicle, as indicated by 2WD on the left side of FIG. The braking torque applied to the right rear wheel causes a moment to suppress understeer around the center of gravity of the vehicle, and the actual travel line is along the target line.
[0048]
On the other hand, as shown in 4WD on the right side of FIG. 4, in the case of a four-wheel drive vehicle, when braking torque is applied to the right rear wheel by VDC control, the braking torque applied to the right rear wheel is transferred via transfer. Around the front axle, the front differential causes equal braking torque to act on the left and right front wheels. Since there is a rear differential that allows differential from the right rear wheel to the left rear wheel, braking torque is not transmitted.
[0049]
Therefore,(1)The braking force transmitted from the right rear wheel to the left and right front wheels reduces the lateral force that the left and right front wheels can produce.(2)The braking torque transmitted from the right rear wheel to the left and right front wheels generates a moment that promotes understeer. The actual driving line shows an understeer tendency than the target line.
[0050]
[Turning behavior control action during four-wheel drive]
In the rigid four-wheel drive state in this embodiment, when the VDC control is started but the braking torque is not applied, step S1, step S2, step S3, step S4, step S5 in the flowchart of FIG. → Step S6 → Step S7 → Step S8 → Step S12 The flow proceeds to step S12. In step S12, engine torque down control is executed in which the amount obtained by subtracting the target engine torque (ETQTCS) from the current engine torque is the torque reduction amount. The
[0051]
Then, when braking torque by VDC control is applied, in the flowchart of FIG. 2, step S1, step S2, step S3, step S4, step S5, step S6, step S7, step S8, step S9, step S10, step The flow proceeds from S11 to step S12. In step S12, negative engine torque down control, in other words, engine torque up control, is performed from the current engine torque (= target engine torque) to the engine torque correction value TEE (ETQTCS + TE). Executed.
[0052]
For example, when understeer suppression control is performed during a right turn that is likely to cause understeer, FIG.(1)As shown in FIG. 5, when braking torque is applied to the right
[0053]
Here, when the engine torque of 100 is increased and given by the torque-up control, 25 (see FIG. 5) is applied to the right rear wheel 8.(3)), 25 for the left and right
[0054]
Accordingly, when the left and right
[0055]
In the left and right
[0056]
Also, for example, when oversteer suppression control is performed during a turn that is likely to become oversteer, the braking torque due to wraparound on the left and right
[0057]
As described above, although the control amount tends to be smaller than the VDC control amount of the 2WD vehicle,-It is possible to apply braking torque only to the VDC brake wheel in a direction to suppress steer and understeer (leave the braking torque), and overshoot the left and right wheels opposite to the VDC brake wheel.-Since the drive torque can be applied in a direction that suppresses steer and understeer, the VDC control can be effectively performed while the four-wheel drive state is maintained (turning behavior) while eliminating the adverse effects of the braking torque wraparound interference caused by the four-wheel drive state. Stabilization).
[0058]
Next, the effect will be described.
In the turning behavior control device for the four-wheel drive vehicle of the first embodiment, the effects listed below can be obtained.
[0059]
(1) In a turning behavior control device that is applied to a four-wheel drive vehicle capable of limiting the rotation difference between the front and rear wheels and controls the turning behavior of the vehicle, the vehicle turns according to the turning state of the vehicle independently of the braking operation by the driver. A VDC / TCS /
[0060]
(2) The drive torque correction step S9 is performed by the VDC / TCS / ABS controller 17.AttachedIs givenRuSince the drive torque increase amount TP is calculated according to the magnitude of the target braking torque TB, it is possible to control the yaw rate control amount to be appropriate for stabilizing the vehicle behavior.
[0061]
(3) The drive torque correction steps S9 to S11 include a drive shaft friction loss D that is a friction loss of the braking torque wrapping path, a propeller shaft friction loss d that is a friction loss of the drive torque transmission path, and Therefore, the engine torque correction value TEE can be obtained in consideration of the braking torque transmission rate and the drive torque transmission rate due to friction.
[0062]
(Second embodiment)
The second embodiment is an example in which the calculation process of the engine torque correction value TEE is different from that of the first embodiment.
[0063]
Since the configuration is the same as that of the first embodiment apparatus, illustration and description thereof are omitted.
[0064]
Next, the operation will be described.
[0065]
[Turning behavior control processing during four-wheel drive]
FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing the flow of turning behavior control processing during four-wheel drive executed by the VDC / TCS /
[0066]
In step S13, based on the target braking torque TB, a braking torque TF that goes around the opposite axis is calculated by the following formula, and the process proceeds to step S14.
Here, the braking torque TF turning around the opposite axis is
TF x RFD x RRD x E = TB-D
∴TF = (TB-D) / (RFD x RRD x E)
However, RFD: Front differential gear ratio, RRD: Rear differential gear ratio, E: Front differential gear efficiency + Rear differential gear efficiency, D: Friction loss of braking torque wrapping path (D = Rear axle shaft friction + Propeller shaft friction + Front drive shaft) Friction).
[0067]
In step S14, an engine torque increase amount TE is calculated based on the braking torque TF that goes around the opposite axis obtained in step S13, and the process proceeds to step S15. Here, the engine torque increase amount TE is calculated by the following equation.
(TE × RT × RFD × t × E ′) − D ′ = TF
∴TE = (TF + D ′) / (RT × RFD × t × E ′)
However, RT: transmission gear ratio, RFD: front differential gear ratio, t: torque converter torque ratio, E ′: transmission gear ratio efficiency + front differential gear ratio efficiency, D ′: friction loss of drive torque transmission path (propeller shaft Friction + front drive shaft friction).
[0068]
In step S15, based on the target engine torque ETQTCS and the engine torque increase amount TE obtained in step S14, an engine torque correction value TEE is calculated by the equation TEE = ETQTCS + TE, and the process proceeds to step S12. In this step, the
[0069]
Next, the effect will be described.
In the turning behavior control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle of the second embodiment, in addition to the effects (1) and (2) of the first embodiment device, the following effects can be obtained.
[0070]
(4) In the drive torque correction steps S13 to S15, the engine torque correction value TEE is calculated according to the friction loss D of the braking torque wrapping path and the friction loss D 'of the drive torque transmission path. Therefore, it is possible to obtain an appropriate engine torque correction value TEE in consideration of the braking torque transmission rate and the driving torque transmission rate due to friction more accurately than in the first embodiment apparatus.
[0071]
As mentioned above, although the turning behavior control apparatus of the four-wheel drive vehicle of this invention has been demonstrated based on 1st Example and 2nd Example, about a concrete structure, it is not restricted to these Examples, Patent Design changes and additions are permitted without departing from the spirit of the invention according to each of the claims.
[0072]
For example, in the first and second embodiments, an on-demand four-wheel drive vehicle (hydraulic clutch or electromagnetic clutch type) whose drive torque distribution can be adjusted from a two-wheel drive state to a four-wheel drive state according to the acceleration slip amount. As an example, an on-demand four-wheel drive vehicle such as a viscous coupling type or a mechanical type, or a four-wheel drive vehicle that can realize a rigid four-wheel drive state by manual switching operation, such as an off-road four-wheel drive vehicle, may be used. In short, all four-wheel drive vehicles in which braking torque is transmitted to the other of the front and rear wheels via a transfer when braking torque is applied to one of the front and rear wheels are included.
