Description

The present invention relates to a folding cane that facilitates folding and assembling of the folding cane and is thin and has high strength.

In the conventional folding cane, as shown in FIG. 6, when the folded cane is taken out, each cylinder (4A, 5A, 6A) is pulled by the rubber cord (7A). Since the plug part (4aA, 5aA, 6aA) with the plug pipe joint expanded in the distal direction and the plug part (4bA, 5bA, 6bA) with the reduced diameter at the tip are paired, both are naturally connected In addition, a joint part of a folding cane that can be used as a cane simply by taking it out is disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 1).

In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, a fitable structure is provided at the upper end and the lower end of each short cylinder 1aB, 1bB. For example, the upper peripheral diameter of the upper end of the short cylinder positioned below is formed slightly narrower than the inner peripheral diameter of the lower end opening 6B of the upper short cylinder, or the upper end opening of the short cylinder positioned below The joint part of the folding stick to which the pipe member 2B slightly narrower than the inner peripheral diameter of the lower end opening 6B of the short cylindrical body positioned on the upper side is disclosed. However, the above-described “pipe member 2B slightly narrower than the inner peripheral diameter of the lower end opening 6B of the short cylinder positioned above the upper end opening of the short cylinder positioned below” is determined from FIG. It is considered that the pipe member 2B slightly thinner than the inner peripheral diameter of the upper end opening 6B of the short cylinder positioned below is fixed to the lower end opening of the short cylinder positioned above (see, for example, Patent Document 2).

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 8, the stick body is a stick in which the stick body is divided into a plurality of rod-like bodies 4C, and the ends of the rod-like bodies 4C are connected to each other by screw portions and are located below the connecting portion. A first connector 11C provided with a male screw portion 6C is attached to the end of the pipe 4C, and a second connector 12C provided with a female screw portion 7C is provided at the end of the pipe 4C located above the connecting portion. A joint portion of the attached folding stick is disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 3).
As shown in FIG. 9, the connecting portion of the folding cane that is commercially available from the past is composed of a male joint 20D and a female joint 30D, and the male joint 20D has a male tapered portion 21D and a male straight guide portion 22D. And the structure of the connection part which has female taper part 31D in female coupling 30D is disclosed (henceforth, the said indication is described as a conventionally commercial item).

In the connection of the folding part of Patent Document 1 which is a conventional folding cane, it is connected by a simple method of a plug-and-plug type pipe joint in which a plug part with a reduced diameter of a cylindrical body and an outlet part with an enlarged diameter are formed. ing. However, the plug part is provided with a rubber string stopper and the rubber string is guided to the center part of the hole diameter of the plug part, but the outlet part is not guided to the center of the rubber string so that it can be used as a cane. When the connection part is worn out because the connection is not easily performed in a short time and the connection structure is made by the diameter reduction and expansion of the cylinder, There was a problem of wobble.

In connection of patent document 2, the pipe member fixed to the opening part of the other short cylinder body is fitted and connected to the opening part of one short cylinder body. However, since the string body has a structure that can freely move in the diametrical direction inside the short cylinder body, it is necessary to assemble the opening portion and the pipe member together accurately, and thus there is a possibility of pinching a finger. There was a problem of being dangerous.

Furthermore, in the connection of Patent Document 3, the ends of the rod-shaped bodies are connected by a screw part. Therefore, although a reliable connection of the folding stick is promised, there has been a problem that a considerable amount of time is required for the action of fitting and rotating the male screw and the female screw in order to assemble and use the stick.

Further, in the connecting portion of the conventional folding cane, as shown in FIG. 9A, the male tapered portion 21D of the male joint 20D and the female tapered portion 31D of the female joint 30D are not in contact with each other. In addition, since the contact is made at the circumferential portion, there is a problem that the connection is weak and the strength of the folding cane is weak in the bending direction.

A plurality of pipes are connected by a connecting member, a rubber string fixed at the upper end and the lower end is inserted into the pipe, a handle is attached to the upper end, a stone bump is attached to the lower end, and the connecting member is at least a male joint. It has a female joint, the male joint has a male tapered part, a male hook and a male string hole, and the female joint has a female tapered part, a female hook and a female string hole, and the male tapered part and the female tapered part are in surface contact. And, in the folding cane configured so that the female heel and the male heel do not contact, the connecting member includes the male joint, the female joint and the joint ring (40), and the male heel (23) in the male joint is A flat male engagement surface (231) is formed along the outer periphery of the male pipe fitting portion (25), and the female rod (33) in the female joint is formed on the outer periphery of the female pipe fitting portion (35). A flat female engagement surface (331) is provided along the joint ring (40). A ring part (43) is formed in the circumference and a joint hole (46) is formed in the center part, and a joint engagement part (433) and a pipe engagement part (434) are formed in the inner circumference of the ring part (43). A joint abutting surface (431) and a pipe abutting surface (432) are formed on both flat portions of the hole (46), and the male pipe fitting portion (25) of the male joint (20) is formed in the joint hole (46). ), The male flange (23) of the male joint (20) is brought into contact with the joint contact surface (431), and the female hook (33) of the female joint (30) is brought into the joint engaging portion (433). The male engagement surface (231) and the joint contact surface (431) are crimped, the end surface of the pipe member (50) and the pipe contact surface (432) are crimped, the female engagement surface (331) and the pipe It is set as the structure which crimped | bonded the end surface of the member (50), a female collar (33) restrained a motion by a joint engaging part (433), and the male joint 20 and a female joint By providing Oritatamitsue, characterized in that to ensure complete coupling between the 0 is obtained by a means for solving the above problems.

In the folding cane of the present invention, a slight play of the connection between the male joint 20 and the female joint 30 occurs due to the loose fitting 33 of the female joint 30 being fitted into the joint engaging portion 433 of the joint ring 40. Even in this case, the movement of the female rod 33 is restrained by the joint engaging portion 433, and the effect that it works to ensure the complete connection between the male joint 20 and the female joint 30, the load in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the folding cane The amount of flexure is small and the strength is strong and the safety is ensured. The male joint 20 and the female joint 30 are connected by surface contact between the male taper portion 21 and the female taper portion 31 so that the male joint 20 and the female joint 30 do not come into contact with any portion other than the taper portion. By being formed in this way, the effect of working to make the connection stronger against the force in the axial direction and the direction perpendicular to the axis of the folding cane is exhibited.

Further, since the male loose fitting surface 232 and the female loose fitting surface 332 are not in contact with each other, the male joint 20 and the female joint 30 can be easily detached and the connection can be easily released. Since the string hole 36 is formed to have a minimum diameter that does not affect the expansion and contraction of the rubber string 61, when assembling the folding cane of the present invention, the male joint 20 and the female joint 30 are centered on each other. As a result, the folding cane can be assembled more quickly and reliably.

By applying or kneading a phosphorescent material to the joint ring 40, when using the folding cane of the present invention at night, the joint ring 40 portion emits light to indicate the presence of the user of the cane to other people. While ensuring the safety of the cane user, the cane user can confirm the position of the joint ring 40, so the folding cane can be assembled and folded safely, so protect yourself from the danger of pinching your fingers. The effect of being able to be expected.

The features and effects of the folding cane of the present invention will be described.
When the folding cane of the present invention is used, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the male joint 20 and the female joint 30 are connected by surface contact between the male taper portion 21 and the female taper portion 31. The male locking portion 211, the male guide portion 212, and the male contact surface 232 formed on the male joint 20 are formed so as not to contact the female guide portion 311 and the female contact surface 332 of the female joint 30. As a result, it is possible to act on the surface contact portion of the tapered portion as a force in the taper surface direction and a direction perpendicular to the taper surface with respect to the force in the axial direction and the direction perpendicular to the axis. Since the contact surface 232 and the female contact surface 332 are not in contact with each other, there is an effect that the male joint 20 and the female joint 30 can be easily detached and the connection can be easily released.
In the assembly of the folding cane according to the embodiment of the present invention, the distance between the male contact surface 232 and the female contact surface 332 is about 0.4 mm.

When the folding cane of the present invention is assembled and used from the folded state, the male guide portion 212 of the male joint 20 and the female joint 30 are connected as shown in FIGS. The formation of the female guide 311 has an effect of facilitating assembly. Here, the inner circumference circle of the male guide portion 212 is a circle o1, the inner circumference circle diameter is a diameter a, the outer circumference circle of the female guide portion 311 is a circle O, and the outer circumference circle diameter is a diameter D, which is 1.5 times the diameter a. A circle having a diameter of 2 is a circle o2 and a diameter b.
The fact that the male joint 20 enters the female joint 30 means that there is a circle o1 inside the circle O, as shown in FIG. 5 (a). At this time, the region where the center position of the circle o1 exists is a circle. The diameter of the circle o11 is (D−a) because it is inside the circle o11 indicated by the locus of the center position of the circle o1 that moves while the circle o1 is inscribed in O. However, as shown in FIG. 5B, when b = 1.5a, the diameter of the circle o21 indicated by the locus of the center position of the circle o2 is (D−b) = (D−1.5a). The diameter of the circle o21 is smaller than the diameter of the circle o11.
The above indicates that the smaller the inner peripheral diameter d of the male guide portion 212 relative to the outer peripheral diameter D of the female guide portion 311, the easier the male joint 20 enters the female joint 30. Since the taper portion is formed in 212 and the female guide portion 311 to increase the difference between the diameter D and the diameter d, the effect that the male joint 20 is easily inserted by the female joint 30 is exhibited.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the fitting ring 40 is attached by integrating the pipe member 50, the male joint 20, and the joint ring 40 constituting the folding cane by press-fitting the pipe member 50 into the male joint 20. The effect produced by the fitting of the male joint 20 and the female joint 30 to the joint ring 40 is transmitted to the joint ring 40, and the female rod 33 of the female joint 30 is loosely fitted to the joint engaging portion 433 of the joint ring 40. Thus, even when the wobbling of the pipe member 50 on the female joint 30 mounting side and the slight play of the connection between the male joint 20 and the female joint 30 occur, the female hook 33 suppresses the movement by the joint engaging portion 433. The male joint 20 and the female joint 30 are effective to ensure complete connection. Moreover, since the ring part 43 is formed in the joint ring 40, a finger and a hand are not pinched | interposed into a connection part.

Furthermore, by applying or kneading a phosphorescent material to the joint ring 40, when the folding cane of the present invention is used at night, the joint ring 40 portion emits light, thereby indicating the presence of the user of the cane to other people. The safety of the cane user is shown and the cane user can confirm the position of the joint ring 40 so that the folding cane can be assembled and folded safely, so that the user can be protected from danger such as pinching fingers. The effect that it can protect can be expected.
In addition, the “New Oratami Straight Cane” with a full length adjustment mechanism added to the folding cane according to the embodiment of the present invention is a CPSA0073 (Condition Product Standard Association and Standard Checking Method) of the CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY ASSOCIATION Test item “2. Strength” and test method “(2) When a load of 200 N (20 kgf) is applied to the center of the column, the maximum deflection at the load point is 10 mm or less. After the load is removed , No damage, disconnection, or deformation that hinders use. "Test result report" Maximum deflection amount 9.4mm: No abnormality "from the Japan Cultural Goods Safety Laboratory. From the fact that it is received, the effect that the strength of the folding cane of the present invention is strong and the safety is ensured is recognized.

Since the male string hole 26 and the female string hole 36 are formed to have a minimum diameter that does not affect the expansion and contraction of the rubber string 61, the male joint 20 and the female joint are assembled when the folding cane of the present invention is assembled. Thus, there is an effect that the folding cane can be assembled more quickly and reliably.
