本発明は、ノート型パソコン等の開閉部分に設けられるヒンジに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来のこの種のヒンジとしては、図3に示すように、ディスプレイ等の開閉部材を取り付けた回転軸Sを、機器本体に取り付けた保持プレートPのカール部により包囲し、該保持プレートPの延長部を締付けネジNにより調節自在に締め付けて、該保持プレートPにより回転軸Sを所望の摩擦トルクで回転自在に保持するようになっていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来のヒンジは、保持プレートPのカール部の細部形状が、材料板厚のバラツキやプレス機へのセッティングの状況により、生産ロット間でバラツキが生じてトルク発生部の面接触が均一になりにくく、トルク調整時にネジNの締め付けトルクを一定にしても、発生トルクが一定にならず、その結果、ネジ締めの微調整が必要になるだけでなく、耐久性能にもバラツキが生じ易い等の問題点があった。

本発明は、上記従来の問題点を解決するためになされたもので、その目的とするところは、発生トルクや耐久性能を一定かつ安定せしめることができるヒンジを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明のヒンジは、機器本体に取り付けられる支持部材と、該支持部材に回転自在に取り付けられる回転軸と、該回転軸にしかもその軸方向に傾動可能に取り付けられる環状フリクション部と該環状フリクション部から放射方向に一体的に延設される受圧部から構成されると共に、該受圧部に最も近い側と最も遠い側の穴壁面部分が上記回転軸と摩擦係合する複数枚のフリクション傾斜プレートと、これらのフリクション傾斜プレートを傾動せしめて回転軸と摩擦係合せしめるように上記受圧部を押圧する押圧手段から構成されることを特徴とするヒンジ。
また、上記押圧手段が、上記支持部材に螺着されたネジ軸であって、フリクション傾斜プレートへの押圧力を調節可能に設けられていることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を参照しながら説明する。
図1において、1は支持部材、2は回転軸、3はフリクション傾斜プレート、4は押圧ネジである。

上記支持部材1は、機器本体(図示せず)に取り付けられる固定部1aと、上記回転軸2を回転自在に取り付ける軸受部1bから構成されている。
上記回転軸2は段付き軸となっていて、先端部はEリング(図示せず)等の抜け止め手段により止められている。

上記フリクション傾斜プレート3は、図2に示すように、環状フリクション部3aと、該環状フリクション部3aから放射方向に一体的に延設される受圧部3bから構成されている。該フリクション傾斜プレート3は、少なくとも2枚重ねた状態で上記回転軸2に取り付けられる。上記環状フリクション部3aは、上記回転軸2にしかもその軸方向に傾動可能に取り付けられる。

上記実施例のヒンジは以上のように構成されているので、押圧ネジ4をねじ込むことにより、上記フリクション傾斜プレート3の受圧部3bを押すと、図2に示すように、該受圧部3bと一体となった環状フリクション部3aが、上記回転軸2に対して傾動する。該環状フリクション部3aが傾動すると、該環状フリクション部3aの穴壁面のうち、特に上記受圧部3bに最も近い側F1と最も遠い側F2の穴壁面部分が上記回転軸2と摩擦係合する。この摩擦力は、上記押圧ネジ4による受圧部3bに対する押圧力に比例する。従って、該押圧ネジ4をねじ込むことにより、その押圧力を調整し、上記摩擦力を調整することができる。なお、本発明における押圧手段は、上記押圧ネジ4に限定するものではなく、上記環状フリクション部3aを傾動させるものであれば、いずれの部材でもよい。

【発明の効果】
1)機器本体に取り付けられる支持部材と、該支持部材に回転自在に取り付けられる回転軸と、該回転軸に傾動可能に取り付けられる複数枚のフリクション傾斜プレートと、これらのフリクション傾斜プレートを傾動せしめるように押圧する押圧手段から構成されるので、発生トルクや耐久性能を一定かつ安定せしめることができる。
2)押圧手段が、支持部材に螺着されたネジ軸であって、フリクション傾斜プレートへの押圧力を調節可能に設けられているので、容易かつ迅速にトルク摩擦力を調節することができる。
