【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、特に焼きそば、スパゲティなど、喫食に際して注湯を行い、所定時間(即席食品を可食状態にする為の時間)経過した後、速やかに排湯する必要のあるインスタント食品の容器に係わり、より詳しくは、容器との密封性、排湯の際の安全性および迅速性、排湯口形成の際の容易性(易開封性)、そして易廃棄性を有するインスタント食品容器の蓋材、特に排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、特に焼きそば、スパゲティなど、喫食に際して注湯を行い、所定時間経過した後に、排湯作業を必要とするインスタント食品用のカップ容器としては、一般にポリスチレン系樹脂粒子にブタン、ペンタン等の揮発性発泡剤を含有させた発泡性樹脂粒子(ビーズ)を、加熱等により発泡させることで形成した発泡ビーズカップ容器本体に、シート成形により作製された外周に排湯口を有するプラスチック樹脂製の蓋材を被せたものが広く使用されている。

一方、紙製の蓋材を使用したものとしては、例えば実公昭61−3810号に開示されている。この公告公報に開示された蓋材は、紙を基材とし、つまみ部により剥離可能に排湯口を形成してなる、容器本体の開口部とほぼ同じ外形を有するブランクシートに裁断し、容器本体の開口部にシールしてなる即席食品の容器があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来のプラスチック樹脂製の蓋材は、前述のような発泡ビーズ等からなるカップ容器本体に単に被せただけのものが多く、該プラスチック樹脂製の蓋材外周のフランジ部に設けられた、係合用の突部を有する溝部により係合されているものがほとんどであり、密封性がないという問題点がある。

また、図5(A)に示すように、従来のプラスチック樹脂製の蓋材には相対する位置に切り込みにより数カ所ずつの排湯口形成用のツメ部が設けられており、該ツメ部を起立させることで排湯口が形成される。しかし、前記ツメ部はフランジの一部にしか形成することができない為、排湯口を数多く形成することができず、排湯の際の時間が多く必要となり、内容物により排湯口がふさがれるなどした場合には、さらに排湯に時間が多く必要となるという問題があった。また、排湯口を形成するためにツメ部を起立した際、該ツメ部が破損するなどカップ容器内に異物が混入するおそれもあった。

さらに、従来のプラスチック樹脂製の蓋材のほとんどがシート成形品であるため、輸送または保管の際に嵩張るとともにインスタント食品用のカップ容器本体に被せた状態においても嵩張って見え、見映えが悪いという問題が生じている。

また、従来のプラスチック樹脂製の蓋材とカップ容器とは、単に蓋材外周のフランジ部に設けられた係合用の突部を有する溝部によってのみ係合されている為、油断していると排湯の際に内容物および湯の重量によりその係合がはずれ、内容物が飛び出たり、かつその際に手などを火傷したりするなどの場合があり、蓋材をしっかりと押さえた状態で排湯しなければならなかった。

また、従来のプラスチック樹脂製の蓋材のほとんどがシート成形品であるため、最近の環境問題に関連して廃棄処理の面でも問題となる可能性があった。

一方、前述した実公昭61−3810号公報に開示されている蓋材は、図5(B)に示すように、紙を基材としてポリエチレン、アルミニウム箔等を積層した積層体からなる蓋材であって、該蓋材を容器本体にシールしてなる即席食品の容器において、前記蓋材に設けたつまみ部をつまんで上方へ引き上げることで、該つまみ部の基部両端を結ぶ剥離用ハーフカットをきっかけとして、蓋材の一部を剥離することで排湯口が形成される。このように紙を基材とする蓋材は、前述のようなプラスチック樹脂製のものと比較して、密封性があり、輸送または保管の際に嵩張ることもなく、製造も容易で、廃棄処理などのエコロジーの面でも優れたものである。しかしながら、このようにつまみ部の基部両端を結ぶかたちで剥離用ハーフカットを設けた場合、つまみ部を上方に引き上げて排湯口を開口しようとした際に、前記蓋材が容器本体にシールしてある為、前記剥離用ハーフカット部をきっかけとしてつまみ部が破断し、その為排湯口を開口することが困難になってしまう恐れがあった。

また、図5(B)に示すように、排湯口開口用つまみが開封用つまみと対向する位置、すなわち剥離領域外周の中央付近に設けられている為、排湯口開口の際には、中央付近に設けられた排湯口開口用つまみを中心に多数の方向へ拡がるように力を加えながら剥離して排湯口を開口する必要があり、いくら剥離領域が形成されているといえども、かなりの力が必要となり、場合によっては開口の途中でつまみ部等から破断する恐れもあった。

ところで、本発明の目的は、特に焼きそば、スパゲティなど、喫食に際して注湯を行い、所定時間経過した後に、排湯作業を必要とするインスタント食品用の容器の蓋材において、容器との密封性、排湯の際の安全性および迅速性、排湯口形成の際の容易性(易開封性)、そして易廃棄性を有するインスタント食品容器の蓋材、特に排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は次のような構成の蓋材を作製することにより上記目的を達成した。

本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材の第1の発明は、カップ容器本体14の開口部15に、該開口部15とほぼ同じ外形を有し、開封用つまみ2と排湯口開口用のつまみ3を有する蓋材1をシールしてなる食品用容器において、図2及び図3に示すように、該蓋材1は基材20とこれを被覆する表面シート40が接着剤層30を介して積層され、前記基材20と表面シート40との層間には離型剤11の塗布された剥離領域Aと、該剥離領域A内に配置された非剥離領域Cと、前記剥離領域Aに隣接して配置された他の非剥離領域Bとに区画され、前記剥離領域A内にある非剥離領域C内には排湯口開口部形成用ハーフカット4が、内面側となる前記基材20から接着剤層30に至る範囲で形成され、さらに前記排湯口開口用つまみ3が前記剥離領域Aに隣接して配置された他の非剥離領域Bと剥離領域Aとの境界線近傍の前記剥離領域A側に設けられ、かつ前記剥離領域Aと隣接する他の非剥離領域Bの境界線に沿って、外面側となる前記表面シート40から接着剤層30に至る剥離用ハーフカット5が形成されるとともに、前記排湯口開口用つまみ近傍において、前記剥離用ハーフカットとは反対側の外周端を起点として、前記剥離用ハーフカット5の端部から内側で当該剥離用ハーフカット5に交差する位置に、前記基材20から接着剤層30に至るつまみ部剥離用ハーフカット6を設けた排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材である。

本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材の第2の発明は、容器において、前記蓋材1に形成された前記つまみ部剥離用ハーフカット6の少なくとも一部が、容器本体14の開口部15にシールする際のシール部17に重なるように形成した第1の発明に記載の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材である。

【作用】
本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材においては、紙などを主体とする積層体にて形成されている為、輸送または保管の際に嵩張ることがなく、カップ容器本体にヒートシールするなどして密封性を持たせることが可能であり、排湯の際に内容物の重量により内容物が飛び出すおそれがなく、蓋材を押さえておく必要もない、コンパクトで見映えの良い、排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を提供することができる。

また、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材においては、基材裏面側に排湯口開口用のハーフカットを形成し、剥離領域と非剥離領域を設けたことにより、排湯口を数多く形成することができ、内容物により全ての排湯口がふさがれることがなく、迅速な排湯が可能で、かつ排湯口開口用ハーフカットにより破断された切断片は、非剥離領域となっており、表面シート裏面に接着された状態で剥離開口される為、カップ容器本体内に切断片などの異物が混入するおそれのない排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を提供することができる。

さらに、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材においては、紙などを主体とする積層体にて形成されている為、廃棄処理の面でも最近の環境問題に対応した排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を提供することができる。

また、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材においては、排湯口開口用つまみが他の非剥離領域と剥離領域との境界線でもある剥離用ハーフカット近傍の剥離領域側に設けられている為、排湯口開口用つまみから剥離用ハーフカットに沿って小さな力で容易に剥離して、排湯口を開口することができる。

そして、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材においては、基材裏面側に排湯口開口用のつまみ部剥離用ハーフカットを設け、前記つまみ部近傍の外周端を起点として、表面シート表面側に設けられた剥離用ハーフカット線に交差するように設けた為、このハーフカットが基材と表面シートとの剥離のきっかけとなるとともに、より確実に剥離用ハーフカットに沿って剥離される排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を提供することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下実施例により本発明を詳細に説明する。
図1(A)は、本発明の実施例1における、排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材の平面図であって、図1(B)はその蓋材の裏面図であって、図2は層間の剥離領域を示す説明図であって、図3(A)は、図1(A)のX−X線における断面図であって、図3(B)はY−Y線における本発明の蓋材を使用した即席麺容器の部分断面図であって、図4は使用状態を示す斜視図である。

すなわち、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材1は、カップ容器本体14の開口部15に、容器本体14の開口部15とほぼ同じ外形を有し、開封用つまみ2と排湯口開口用のつまみ3を有する蓋材1をシールしてなる食品用容器において、該蓋材1は基材20とこれを被覆する表面シート40が接着剤層30を介して一部剥離可能に積層され、図2に示すように、前記基材20と表面シート40との層間には離型剤11の塗布された剥離領域Aと、該剥離領域A内に配置された非剥離領域Cと、前記剥離領域Aに隣接して配置された他の非剥離領域Bとに区画され、図3(A)に示すように、前記剥離領域A内にある非剥離領域C内には排湯口開口部形成用ハーフカット4が、内面側となる前記基材20から接着剤層30に至る範囲で形成され、さらに前記排湯口開口用つまみ3が他の非剥離領域Bと剥離領域Aとの境界線近傍の前記剥離領域A側に設けられ、かつ前記剥離領域Aと隣接する非剥離領域Bの境界線に沿って直線状に、外面側となる前記表面シート40から接着剤層30に至る剥離用ハーフカット5が形成されるとともに、図3(B)に示すように、前記排湯口開口用つまみ3近傍の外周端を起点として前記剥離用ハーフカット5に交差する位置に、前記基材20から接着剤層30に至るつまみ部剥離用ハーフカット6を設けた、図1に示す排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材であって、表面に通常の印刷をした、通常の打抜型を用いた打抜工程で、直径が約190mmの排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を作製した。

さらに、図4に示すように、前記蓋材1に設けられたシール部17をカップ容器本体14の開口部15にシールすることで即席麺容器が得られる。そして、その前記シール部17のシール幅としては、1mm乃至10mmが一般的であり、前記蓋材1に形成された前記つまみ部剥離用ハーフカット6の少なくとも一部が、前記シール部に重なるように設けることが好ましい。

ここで、基材シート20としては、あらかじめ発泡スチロール、スチロール、ポリプロピレン等の樹脂を用いて成型されたカップ容器本体14との剥離を容易にする、低温接着性を有するEVA(エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体)などのオレフィン系樹脂またはヒートシールニスなどからなるシーラント剤10をアルミニウム箔9に押し出しによりラミネートすることにより作製したものを使用することができる。

また、表面シート40としては、厚さが60g/m2以上である紙7、具体的には厚さ約85g/m2のコート紙を使用することができ、グラビア印刷法にて表裏同一工程にて、表面側にインキによる印刷層12を設けるとともに、裏面側にレシチンなどの可食性界面活性剤、消化綿系の接着剤にワックスまたはシリコンなどを混合したものからなる離型剤11(0.2〜20μm厚)を塗布することにより作製したものを、使用することができる。

さらに、接着剤層30としては、印刷された前記紙7の前記離型剤11を塗布した面との熱接着性に優れた接着剤、具体的にはポリエチレン、EMA(エチレン−メタクリル酸)などを使用することができる。

次に、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材の使用方法について説明する。
まず、開封用つまみ2をつまんで蓋材1をカップ容器本体14の開口部15から対向する方向へ約1/3ほど剥がし、熱湯をカップ容器本体14へ注入する。次いで、開封用つまみ2をカップ容器本体14の外周端部に折り曲げて再封し、食品を可食状態にする為の所定時間経過した後、排湯口開口用つまみ3をつまんで剥離領域Aを剥離し、図4に示されるように排湯口13を開口し、不要となった湯を排出するものである。

【実施例】
以下に本発明の実施例をさらに具体的に説明する。
<実施例1>
本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材1は、図3(A)に示すように、あらかじめカップ容器本体14との剥離を容易にした低温接着性を有するEVAなどのオレフィン系樹脂からなるシーラント剤10(25μm厚)をアルミニウム箔9(9μm厚)に塗布することによって作製された基材20に、巻取状の紙7(コート紙:84.9g/m2)に、グラビア印刷法にて表裏同一工程で、表面側にインキによる印刷層12を、裏面側に可食性界面活性剤にシリコンを混合してなる離型剤11を塗布することにより作製された表面シート40を、印刷された紙7の離型剤11の塗布面との熱接着性に優れたポリエチレン8(15μm厚)からなる接着剤層によりエクストルーダーを用いてラミネートすることにより積層材を作製した。

続いて、このラミネートされた巻取状の積層材を枚葉状に大断ちした後、ハ−フカット加工を行い(巻取状にてハーフカット加工する場合もある。)、ハーフカット完了後、小断ち・抜き加工を経て本発明の食品容器の蓋材1を作製した。(ハーフカット加工時に同時に小断ち・抜き加工を行う場合もある。)

そして、この蓋材をあらかじめ成型されたカップ容器本体(発泡スチロール、スチロール、ポリプロピレン等からなる)にヒートシールなどにてシール部17のシール幅が4mmとなるようにシールするとともに、前記蓋材1に設けたつまみ部剥離用ハーフカット6の少なくとも一部が前記シール部17に重なるように、かつ前記剥離用ハーフカット5とは反対側となる前記排湯口開口用つまみ3近傍の外周端を起点として、前記排湯口開口用つまみ3を有する側の前記剥離用ハーフカット5の端部から約3mm内側の位置に、前記つまみ部剥離用ハーフカット6が交差するように設けた排湯機能を有する即席麺容器が完成する。

前述のハーフカット加工において、図3(A)および図3(B)に示すように、排湯口開口部形成用ハーフカット4として円形にミシン目状のハーフカットを形成し、剥離用ハーフカット5およびつまみ部剥離用ハーフカット6としては、直線状のハーフカットを形成した食品容器の蓋材を作製する。

以上、作用及び実施例に示すとおり、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材においては、上記のように構成されるため、基材上に剥離可能にラミネートした表面シートの一部を確実に剥離用ハーフカットに沿って剥がすことができ、排湯口開口部形成用ハーフカットに沿って基材に形成した排湯口を容易に開口することが可能で、開口の際にカップ容器本体内に切断片などの異物が混入するおそれのない、衛生的な排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を提供することができる。

また、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材においては、上記のように構成されるため、輸送または保管の際に嵩張ることがなく、可燃物として一般のゴミとともに廃棄処理することができ、生産効率にも優れた排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を提供することができる。

加えて、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材においては、上記のように構成された該蓋材をカップ容器本体にヒートシールするなどしてシールすることでインスタント食品用容器が作製される為、密封性を有し内容物保存性に優れ、かつ内容物であるインスタント食品を可食状態にした後、排湯を行う場合、内容物により数多く形成した全ての排湯口がふさがれることがなく、安全にかつ迅速に排湯を行うことができる、取り扱いが簡便な排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を提供することができる。

また、本発明の排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材においては、基材裏面側に排湯口開口用のつまみ部剥離用ハーフカットを、該つまみ部近傍の外周端から表面シート表面側に設けられた剥離用ハーフカット線にその端部より内側で交差するように設けた為、このハーフカットが基材と表面シートとの剥離のきっかけとなるとともに、より確実に剥離用ハーフカットに沿って剥離される排湯機能を有する即席麺容器用蓋材を提供することができる。
