本発明は、前面側に灰皿装置を設けた遊技機に関する。

従来より、パチンコ遊技機やパチスロ遊技機等に代表される遊技機の前面側には、灰皿装置が設けられている。この灰皿装置は、凹状の灰収納部を備え、該灰収納部の開口部側を上方に向けた状態と下方に向けた状態とに回動変換可能に構成されている。例えば、灰皿として使用する場合には、灰収納部の開口部側を上方に向けた状態で維持し、一方、灰収納部に溜まった灰や吸い殻を回収する場合には、灰収納部の開口部側を手前側に傾倒させて下方に向けた状態に回動変換して灰や吸い殻を下方に落とし、これをバケツ等で回収する。そして、回収し終えたら、灰収納部の開口部側を上方に向けた状態に戻して、灰皿として使用できる状態に復帰させる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記のように、従来の遊技機では、灰皿装置を手動でひっくり返して灰や吸い殻を回収した後に、灰収納部の開口部側を上方に向けた状態(灰皿として使用できる状態)に戻さなければならないといった煩わしさがあった。また、灰皿装置を元の状態に戻すには僅かながらも時間を要し、それが吸い殻回収の作業効率を低下させる要因ともなっていた。
一般に、遊技店には多くの遊技機が設置されているので、それら遊技機1台1台の吸い殻を回収するには結果として非常に手間と時間がかかっていた。そこで、このような問題点を解決するものとして、例えば、吸い殻を自動的に回収するシステムが知られているが、このような回収システムを導入するには多大な費用がかかり、そのため、多くの遊技店では店員が灰皿装置を手動でひっくり返して吸い殻を回収するという方法が採られている。

また、灰皿本体40の底部には、図3に示すように、皿部材40Aと皿取付部材40Bの間に介在する状態で、重り部材45が設置されている。この重り部材45は灰皿本体40の重心位置を調整するためのもので、この重り部材45が設置された状態において、灰皿本体40の重心位置は、自重により第2状態から第1状態に回動復帰し得る位置に設定されるようになっている。つまり、灰皿本体40には、第1状態への回動復帰力が常時与えられていて、第1状態にあるときには、外部から前記回動復帰力と逆向きの回動力を付与することによって第1状態から第2状態に変換される一方、第2状態にあるときには、前記回動復帰力によって自動的に第2状態から第1状態に回動復帰するようになっている。

また、ベース部50の裏面側には、その周縁部に沿って、後方に向かって延出する位置決め壁部54が形成されている。また、ベース部50の裏面側には、該ベース部50をパネル部材20に取り付けるための取付支柱(図示省略)が突設されている。一方、パネル部材20の前面左側には、上記位置決め壁部54を嵌入可能な灰皿取付用凹部21が設けられ、該灰皿取付用凹部21の奥の起立面には、止着部材70を通すための貫通穴22,…が形成されている。
