この発明は車載用電子機器の取付構造に係わり、特に、大型のパネルを備えた車載用電子機器に好適な車載用電子機器のパネル取付構造に関する。

従来、カーステレオ等の車載用電子機器にパネルを取付ける場合、図7に示すように、パネル20aが取付けられた電子機器本体シャーシ20に取付金具2、2をねじで締着し、さらに、取付金具2、2を車両に取付けていた。そして、電子機器本体の前面を覆うようにクラスターパネル6を取付けて、電子機器本体の前面に配置されているパネル20aをクラスターパネル6の開口部から突出させていた。

この発明の車載用電子機器のパネル取付構造は、車載用電子機器の前面からクラスターパネルの開口部を挿通して出入するトレイ式記録媒体メカニズムのトレイ前面にクラスターパネルの開口部の縦横の寸法より縦横の寸法が大きいパネルを着脱自在として、使用状態における前記パネルが前記トレイと共に前後方向に移動することによりその位置を可変としたものである。
