【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、スライド装置並びにスライド装置を用いた携帯電話,モバイルなどの電子機器に関するものである。

【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
例えば従来の折り畳み式の携帯電話は、数字キーやファンクションキーを配列した操作部を下側となる本体部の上面側に設け、この操作部のキー操作などにより所定の表示がなされる液晶パネルなどのディスプレイ部を上側となる重合部の伏面側(重合側)に設け、この本体部と重合部とをヒンジ装置を介して連結して、本体部と重合部とを二つ折り重合して操作部を重合部により隠蔽した折り畳み閉塞状態から、ヒンジ装置により重合部を起伏回動して反転し、操作部とディスプレイ部とが露出した開放状態に切り替えできるように構成している。

そのため、従来このような起伏回動する重合部で本体部の操作部を覆う電子機器においては、折り畳み重合してコンパクト化できるものの操作部を隠蔽した重合状態ではディスプレイ部も隠蔽してしまう構造となり、コンパクト化した状態での使用が制限されざるを得なく不便である場合も多い。

また、操作部を操作する場合には、ディスプレイ部を設けた重い重合部を立ち起こし反転回動させなければならず、この開閉動作(特に開放動作)させずらい欠点もある。

そこで、起伏回動により開閉動作するのではなく、重合面に沿って前後方向に重合部をスライド移動して開閉動作するように構成すれば、重合部の上側面にディスプレイ部を設けることができ、例えば不使用時あるいはキー操作不要時に重合した際においても、言い換えるとたとえディスプレイ部を設けた重合部を本体部に重合して操作部を隠蔽したコンパクト化状態においても、ディスプレイ部が上側に配設され、ディスプレイ部を視認したり、機能させたりすることが可能となり、また重合してコンパクト化した状態から操作部及びディスプレイ部を露出した状態に切り替える場合は、重合面に沿って前後方向に重合部をスライド移動することで行なえるため、この開放動作も非常に容易に行なえ、機器装置として使用用途が広がり、しかも前記開閉動作も容易となる携帯電話,モバイルなどの電子機器となる。

このようにスライド開閉方式に構成する場合には、本体部と重合部とをスライド自在に連結するスライド装置を用いることになるが、本体部の操作部を重合部で隠蔽した重合閉塞位置と、重合部を位置ズレするように前後方向へスライド移動させて操作部を露出させたスライド開放位置とで位置決め保持(クリック係合)するように構成することが望ましい。

本発明は、このような所定位置でクリック係合して位置決めされるスライド開閉方式を実現できるスライド装置を、部品点数が少なく、プレス加工などの簡易な手法と係合組み付けによって容易に製作でき、量産性に秀れ、またクリック係合間では適度なスライド抵抗によるフリーストップとなり、且つスムーズなスライドを容易に実現可能となる画期的なスライド装置並びにスライド装置を用いた電子機器を提供することを目的としている。

第一部材1とこの第一部材1に重合配設した第二部材2とをスライド自在に連結するスライド装置であって、長さ方向にガイド部3を有しガイドレールとして前記第一部材1に設けられる第一連結部4と、この第一連結部4にスライド自在に係合するスライド体として前記第二部材2に設けられる第二連結部5とから成り、前記第一連結部4のスライド面4Aに沿ってスライドする係合突部6を形成したスライド板部8を前記第二連結部5に設け、前記係合突部6が係合して前記第一連結部4に対する前記第二連結部5のスライド位置が係合保持される係合凹部7若しくは係合孔7を、前記第一連結部4のスライド面4Aに形成し、前記スライド板部8は前記第一連結部4と第二連結部5とをスライド自在に係合した際この第一連結部4と第二連結部5との間に介在して第二連結部5のスライド移動と共に第一連結部4のスライド面4Aに前記係合突部6を当接しながらスライド移動するように構成し、前記第一連結部4と前記第二連結部5との間に介在して前記第二連結部5のスライド移動及び前記スライド板部8のスライド移動と共にスライド移動して前記前記第一連結部4のスライド面4Aに当接することによってスライド抵抗が生じる介在補助板部9を前記スライド板部8に重合配設して、このスライド板部8と介在補助板部9とを第二連結部5の重合側に第二連結部5と共にスライド移動するように重合配設し、この介在補助板部9は前記第一連結部4のスライド面4Aに当接する湾曲当接部を形成し且つ端部での折り返し立ち下げ若しくは折り返し立ち上げにより前記第二連結部5にスライド係止してこの第二連結部5と共にスライド移動する構成とし、この介在補助板部9に前記スライド板部8に設けた係合突部6が突出して係合突部6を前記第一連結部4のスライド面4Aに当接させる開口部10若しくは切欠部10を設け、スライド時にはこの介在補助板部9によるスライド抵抗と、前記スライド板部8の係合突部6がこのスライド面4Aに当接することで生じるスライド抵抗とが生じるように構成したことを特徴とするスライド装置に係るものである。

好適と考える本発明の実施の形態(発明をどのように実施するか)を、図面に基づいてその作用効果を示して簡単に説明する。

また一方、前記スライド抵抗を係合突部6とスライド面とのスライド当接にのみ頼ると、スライド面を十分に滑らかにする必要があり、スライド板部8の折曲によって係合突部6を形成する場合、スライド板部8の材質に応じた突出度の精度がかなり必要となってしまう。即ち、クリック保持が良好に行なえると共にこのクリック保持間でスムーズなスライド移動でありながらフリーストップを実現するためには、スライド面をかなりの滑面となるように鏡面加工などしなければスライド板部8に形成する係合突部6の突出度をかなり精度良く設計する必要がある。

そこで、更に本発明では、このフリーストップと位置決め保持を実現しつつスムーズにスライドできるように製作することが、ラフな製作でも容易に実現できるように、第一連結部4と第二連結部5との間にスライド抵抗を生じさせる介在補助板部9を更に介在しても良い(この介在補助板部9を介在することで前記問題も簡単に解決でき、更に実用性が向上する。)。

しかも、係合突部6一点での圧接ではないため、スライド面4Aが十分に滑らかでなくてもスライド抵抗が生じる部分が広くあるいは複数あるいは分散しているためフリーストップ実現のためトータルのスライド抵抗を大きくしてもスムーズにスライド移動でき、またそれ故係合突部6を強く圧接しなくてもよいから、係合突部6が係合凹部7若しくは係合孔7に係合した状態から離脱させてスライドさせるときも、強い力が必要とならず、この意味でもスムーズにスライド移動できることとなる。

本発明の具体的な実施例について図面に基づいて説明する。

本実施例は、重合コンパクト化の図れる携帯電話に本発明を適用したもので、回路基板,電源などの電子部品をケースに内装した板状の第二部材2(本体部2)の上面側に数字キーやファンクションキーなどを配列したキーボード機能を果たす操作部を設け、この本体部2に重合して操作部を覆う略同形の板状の第一部材1(重合部1)を略水平前後方向にスライド自在にスライド装置により連結した構成としている。

この重合部1の上面側には予め設定した画面や前記操作部の操作や着信などにより所定の表示がなされる液晶パネルなどのディスプレイ部を設けている。

また、第一連結部4に対して第二連結部5と共にスライド板部8を(相対的に)スライド移動させる際、係合突部6とスライド面4Aとのスライド当接によってスライド抵抗を生じるが、このスライド抵抗を適正にすることでスライド位置がふらつかず、いわゆる手を離したときのスライド位置がこのスライド抵抗によって保持されるフリーストップが実現できる。しかし、スライド抵抗を係合突部6とスライド面4Aとのスライド当接にのみ頼ると、スライド面を十分に滑らかにする必要があり、スライド板部8の折曲によって係合突部6を形成する場合、スライド板部8の材質に応じた突出度の精度がかなり必要となってしまう。即ち、クリック保持が良好に行なえると共にこのクリック保持間でスムーズなスライド移動でありながらフリーストップを実現するためには、スライド面をかなりの滑面となるように鏡面加工などしなければスライド板部8に形成する係合突部6の突出度をかなり精度良く設計する必要がある。

そこで、更に本実施例では、このフリーストップと位置決め保持を実現しつつスムーズにスライドできるように製作することが、ラフな製作でも容易に実現できるように、前述のように第一連結部4と第二連結部5との間にスライド抵抗を生じさせる介在補助板部9を更に介在している。

従って、本実施例では、スライド時には、スライド板部8の係合突部6が開口部10を介してスライド面4Aにスライド当接するだけでなく、介在補助板部9もスライド面4Aに当接するため介在補助板部9によるスライド抵抗も更に生じることとなる。それ故、係合突部6を強くスライド面4Aに圧接しなくても介在補助板部9を介在させることによるスライド抵抗も生じるためフリーストップを実現できる十分なスライド抵抗を確保でき、しかも、係合突部6一点での圧接ではないため、スライド面4Aが十分に滑らかでなくてもスライド抵抗が生じる部分が広くあるいは複数あるいは分散しているためフリーストップ実現のためトータルのスライド抵抗を大きくしてもスムーズにスライド移動でき、またそれ故係合突部6を強く圧接しなくてもよいから、係合突部6が係合孔7に係合した状態から離脱させてスライドさせるときも、強い力が必要とならず、この意味でもスムーズにスライド移動できることとなる。
