Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention specifies the cross-sectional shape of a ribbon-like rubber used in a tire molding method in which a ribbon-like rubber extruded from an extruder is spirally wound around a rotating support and a rubber member having a predetermined cross-section is assembled. The present invention relates to a ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus for sticking a material to a support.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, when molding tires for the purpose of downsizing extrusion equipment, improving tire uniformity, or dealing with small lot multi-size production, etc. A tire molding method is known in which a rubber member having a predetermined cross section is assembled by spirally winding around a rotating support and assembling a rubber member having a predetermined cross section. In this method, the extruded ribbon-like rubber is molded to identify this cross section. In addition, a ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus for sticking to a support is used, and the position of this roll sticking apparatus is continuously controlled to spirally wind and laminate the ribbon-like rubber.
[0003]
And this ribbon-like rubber roll sticking device has a pair of rollers facing each other, and each roller has a rolling surface for passing the ribbon-like rubber between them and specifying its cross-sectional shape, one of the rollers The rolled surface is configured to function as a surface for holding the ribbon-shaped rubber that has been passed through and sticking it to the support, and these rolled surfaces are formed in a flat cross-section (for example, Patent Document 1).
[0004]
However, the conventional ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus has the following problems caused by the rolling surface of each rolling roller having a flat cross section. In the conventional apparatus, in order to hold the ribbon-shaped rubber that has passed between both rollers on the rolling surface of the one roller, one roller has a larger diameter on the rolling surface than the other roller, or the other roller Each of the rolling surfaces by performing a process such as heating one of the rollers, making the peripheral speed of the rolling surface of one roller slower than that of the other roller, or finishing one roller as a mirror surface and the other roller as a matte surface, for example. Although measures have been taken to vary the surface state of the roller, there have been cases where it is not held on the rolling surface of one of the rollers, which has been a problem.
[0005]
Moreover, in this prior art, since the rolling surface of one roller functioning as the sticking surface has a flat cross section, the ribbon-like rubber is stuck flat to the support. If the support has a section with a concave cross section, the ribbon rubber is affixed to the concave part. When trying to wear, there was also a problem that the ribbon-like rubber could not be brought into close contact with the deep part of the concave surface.
[0006]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-160284
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and includes a pair of rollers facing each other, and each roller has a rolling surface for specifying a cross-sectional shape by passing a ribbon-like rubber therebetween. A ribbon-rolled rubber rolling and sticking apparatus that functions as a surface for holding the ribbon-like rubber that has been passed through and holding the ribbon-like rubber on the support. The rubber-like rubber can be securely held on the rolling surface of the one of the rollers, and when the ribbon-like rubber is stuck to the support, the air between the ribbon-like rubber and the support is prevented from entering between them. An object of the present invention is to provide a ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus that does not impair the adhesion of the rubber.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has been made, and the gist configuration and operation thereof will be described below.
[0009]
The ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus according to claim 1 is used in a tire molding method in which a ribbon-like rubber extruded from an extruder is spirally wound around a rotating support and a rubber member having a predetermined cross section is assembled. It has a pair of rollers facing each other, and each roller has a rolling surface for passing a ribbon-shaped rubber between them to specify its cross-sectional shape, and the rolling surface of one roller has a ribbon-shaped rubber passed through it. In the ribbon-shaped rubber roll sticking apparatus that functions as a surface to hold and stick this to the support,
The rolling surface of the one roller has a convex cross section, and the rolling surface of the other roller has a concave cross section.
[0010]
According to the ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus according to the present invention, the rolling surface of the one roller has a convex cross section and the rolling surface of the other roller has a concave cross section. The ribbon-shaped rubber that has been compressed in the thickness direction, stretched in the width direction, and rolled, passes through the gap between these rollers, and then the contraction force acting in the width direction due to its elasticity makes the ribbon-shaped rubber surface convex. It acts as a force for pressing the rolling surface and peeling it from the rolling surface having a concave surface, and this makes it possible to reliably hold the ribbon-like rubber on the rolling surface side of one roller.
[0011]
Furthermore, since the rolling surface of one roller has a convex cross section, as described above, when the ribbon rubber is stuck to the support, air entering between the ribbon rubber and the support is prevented. And the adhesion between them can be prevented.
Here, the “support” includes a tire molding drum, a tire in the middle of molding, a rubber member molding drum, a rubber member in the middle of molding, a base tire in a retread tire, and the like. “Spiral winding” means that the ribbon-shaped rubber is wound in the axial direction of the support in addition to winding the ribbon-shaped rubber in the axial direction of the support, that is, spirally wound. It includes simply winding and laminating the layers radially outward without moving them.
[0012]
The ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus according to claim 2 is the place described in claim 1, wherein the gap formed between the rolling surfaces of each of the rollers is narrow at both ends in the width direction of the roller, and the center portion. It will be widened.
[0013]
According to the ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus of the present invention, the gap formed between the rolling surfaces of both rollers is narrowed at both ends in the width direction of the roller and widened at the center portion. The cross-sectional shape can be made thinner at both ends in the width direction than the thickness at the center in the width direction, and the step between the ribbon-like rubbers stacked on the support and adjacent to each other is made smaller and stays at this step. Possible air can be suppressed to the minimum, and entry of air can be prevented.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. FIG. 1 is a schematic side view of a ribbon-shaped rubber rolled sticking apparatus 1 for explaining a tire molding method, FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line II-II in FIG. 1, and FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view taken along line III-III in FIG. When a tire was molded by assembling a rubber member G constituting the tire, for example, a tread member, the tire in the middle of assembling the rubber member G was used as the support body 5 and was extruded from the extruder 4 while rotating the support body 5. The ribbon-shaped rubber R is passed between the ribbon-shaped rubber roll sticking apparatuses 1 and spirally wound on the support 5 to form a rubber member G.
[0015]
The ribbon-shaped rubber roll sticking apparatus 1 includes a pair of rollers 2 and 3 facing each other, and each roller 2 and 3 passes a ribbon-shaped rubber R between them to specify a cross-sectional shape 2A. 3A, the rolling surface 2A of one of the rollers 2 is configured to hold the ribbon-like rubber R that has been passed through and function as a surface for adhering it to the support 5, and the rolling surface 2A is formed in a convex shape in the cross section shown in FIG. 2, whereas the rolling surface 3A of the other roller 3 is formed in a convex shape in the cross section shown in FIG. In the case shown in FIG. 2, the gap between the rollers 2 and 3 is formed uniformly over the roller width direction.
[0016]
FIG. 3A is a cross-sectional view of the surface of the support 5 where the ribbon-shaped rubber R is applied to a flat portion in the width direction. Since the rolling surface 2A of the roller 2 has a convex shape when it is affixed to the support member while being pressed, the center portion in the width direction of the ribbon-shaped rubber R is first pressure-bonded to the support, and then sequentially toward both ends in the width direction. Since this can be pressure-bonded, the air can be pasted while being discharged to the outside in the width direction of the ribbon-shaped rubber R without the air being caught between the support 5 and the ribbon-shaped rubber R. A rubber member that does not generate entry can be formed. This also applies to the case where the ribbon-like rubber R is pasted on the surface of the support 5 that is convex in the width direction.
[0017]
FIG. 3B is a cross-sectional view of the surface of the support 5 where the ribbon-like rubber R is applied to a portion that is concave in the width direction. In this case as well, the rolling surface 2A of the roller 2 is Since it has a convex shape, the ribbon-shaped rubber R can be pressure-bonded to the support 5 over the entire width without causing the roller 2 to interfere with the support 5, and the adhesion between the support 5 and the ribbon-shaped rubber R can be improved. Can be secured.
[0018]
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing another embodiment of the ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus corresponding to FIG. 2, and the ribbon-like rubber roll sticking apparatus 11 of this embodiment is a ribbon shape shown in FIG. The other roller 3 of the rubber roll sticking apparatus 1 is replaced with a roller 13, and the roller 13 has a smaller radius of curvature of the rolling surface 13 </ b> A having a concave cross section than the roller 12. The gap is wide at the center in the width direction of the roller and narrow at both ends, thereby forming a cross-sectional shape in which the thickness at both ends in the width direction is thinner than the center, for example, a ribbon-like rubber having a lens-like cross section. It is possible to reduce the level difference between the ribbon-shaped rubbers R stacked on the support 5 and adjacent to each other, to minimize the air that may stay in the level difference part, and to prevent the entry of air. be able to.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the rolling surface 2A of the one roller 2 has a convex cross section, and the rolling surface of the other roller 3 has a concave cross section. The ribbon-shaped rubber R can be reliably held on the rolling surface 2A of the one roller 2 that controls the bonding of the ribbon-shaped rubber R to the roller 5, and the ribbon-shaped rubber R is bonded to the support 5. At this time, the air entering between the ribbon-shaped rubber R and the support 5 is prevented, and the adhesion between them is ensured.
