Lr =VT ・TH …………(1)
TDH=H(s) Rw Mv sVS −H(s) TW * …………(3)
VS ={(KSP/Mv )/(s+KSP/Mv )}V* …………(4)
【0029】
TW =RT RATRDEF {TE −JE (dNE /dt)}−TBR ……(5)
TE * =JE (dNE /dt)+TW * /RT RATRDEF …………(6)
TB * =0 …………(7)
TW =RT RATRDEF {TE −JE (dNE /dt)} …………(8)
【0031】
TE =JE (dNE /dt)+TW * /RT RATRDEF …………(9)
TW =RT RATRDEF TE0−TB * …(10)
【0036】
TW * =KSP(V* −VS )−TDH …………(13)
【0038】
Ya =YK-1 −YK …………(1)
Yb =YK+1 −YK …………(2)
【0040】
Xa =XK-1 −XK …………(3)
Xb =XK+1 −XK …………(4)
Ca =(Xa 2 −Ya 2 )/2 …………(5)
Cb =(Xb 2 −Yb 2 )/2 …………(6)
A=Xa Ya −Xb Yb …………(7)
Xr =(Ca Yb −Cb Ya )/A …………(8)
Yr =(Cb Xa −Ca Xb )/A …………(9)
Rr =√(Xr 2 +Yr 2 ) …………(10)
【0042】
VCK=√(YG ×RK ) …………(11)
【0043】
VCCK =√(VCK 2 +2XG ・LK )…………(12)
VCC * =min(VCCK ) 1≦K<n …………(13)
LMIN =−ΔV・tr +(VS 2 −VT 2)/2/Gm+VT ・tP …(17)
【0058】
LT =LK −L …………(18)
VMAX =max(VCK,VT ) …………(20)
ΔVA=VR * −VMAX …………(21)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a vehicular travel control device that travels following a vehicle so as to maintain a set inter-vehicle distance with a preceding vehicle. In particular, when the preceding vehicle reaches a curve, an appropriate travel can be ensured. It is a thing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As this type of vehicle travel control device, a device described in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-20899 has been known.
In this conventional example, within the range where the set speed set by the user is not exceeded, the distance between the preceding vehicle and the distance between the preceding vehicles is equal to or greater than the reference inter-vehicle distance. There is described a vehicle travel control device that performs control so as to correspond to a road condition speed calculated based on road map information stored in a storage means. That is, the minimum speed is set as the target speed from the inter-vehicle distance corresponding speed according to the inter-vehicle distance from the preceding vehicle, the set speed set by the user, and the road-state corresponding speed according to the road condition. .
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the invasion vehicle traveling control device, the inter-vehicle distance corresponding speed according to the inter-vehicle distance from the preceding vehicle and the road condition corresponding speed according to the road condition are independently calculated, and the minimum speed is calculated. Is set as the target speed.For example, when entering the curve following the preceding vehicle, if the preceding vehicle decelerates at the entrance of the curve to pass the curve, the host vehicle In spite of being far from the vehicle, the vehicle will decelerate following the preceding vehicle, causing an unresolved problem that makes the driver feel uncomfortable.
[0004]
Therefore, the present invention has been made paying attention to the unsolved problems of the above-mentioned conventional example, and even when the preceding vehicle is in a state of approaching a curve, an optimal traveling state is provided without giving the driver a sense of incongruity. An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicular travel control device that can be secured.
[0005]
[Means for solving the problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a vehicular travel control apparatus according to

According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the vehicle travel control device according to the first or second aspect of the invention, the deceleration suppression means is greater than or equal to the preceding vehicle position curve approach vehicle speed command value, and the curve approach control means. When the vehicle speed command value is less than the calculated vehicle speed command value, the inter-vehicle distance command value input by the inter-vehicle distance control means is corrected so as to be gradually shortened.
[0010]
【The invention's effect】
According to the invention of
In addition, when the preceding vehicle speed exceeds the vehicle speed command value for road conditions, the deceleration is not suppressed by the deceleration suppression means, so even if the preceding vehicle enters the curve at a speed exceeding the allowable vehicle speed, the host vehicle will pass. There is an effect that the vehicle can decelerate to a possible vehicle speed and enter the curve.
Furthermore, if the preceding vehicle speed is slower than the estimated value of the vehicle approaching the curve at the preceding vehicle position, it is estimated that the preceding vehicle has not decelerated with respect to the curve, and the deceleration is not suppressed. When the preceding vehicle decelerates with respect to the obstacle located at, the effect that the normal deceleration can be obtained is obtained.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 12, the passable vehicle speed calculation process in step S200 first determines in step S201 whether or not the travel route flag FR has been reset to “0” representing a straight traveling route. Correspondingly, the inter-vehicle feedback gain calculation process of step S403 in the inter-vehicle distance control process of FIG. 14 described above is executed as shown in FIG. That is, first, at step S801, it is determined whether or not the traveling road flag FR is reset to “0” representing a straight road, and when this is “1” representing a curve, the routine proceeds to step S802, where (17) Limit vehicle distance L according to equationMINThen, the process proceeds to step S803, where the distance L from the vehicle position to the curveKIs greater than the inter-vehicle distance L detected by the

In step S806, the preceding vehicle vehicle speed VTIs the estimated vehicle speed V approaching the vehicle at the position of the preceding vehicleCCT *It is determined whether or not it is equal to or greater than VT≧ VCCT *If YES in step S807, the flow advances to step S807 to calculate the vehicle speed margin value ΔVA by calculating the following equations (20) and (21), and then advances to step S808.

ΔVA = VR *-VMAX ………… (21)
In step S808, the vehicle speed correction coefficient C is determined with reference to the vehicle speed correction coefficient calculation map of FIG. 17 based on the calculated vehicle speed margin value ΔVA.VIs calculated.
[0060]
Next, the process proceeds to step S809, where the inter-vehicle distance L to the limit inter-vehicle distance LMIN, And the distance margin value ΔLA is calculated. Then, the process proceeds to step S810, and the distance correction coefficient C is referred to by referring to the distance correction coefficient calculation map of FIG. 18 based on the distance margin value ΔL.LThen, the process proceeds to step S811, and the calculated vehicle speed correction coefficient C is calculated.VAnd distance correction coefficient CLAnd the correction coefficient C (= CV× CL) And then the process proceeds to step S813.
[0061]
The determination result in step S806 is VT<VCCT *If YES, the process proceeds to step S812, the correction coefficient C is set to “1”, and then the process proceeds to step S813.
In step S813, the relative speed ΔV is calculated by differentiating the inter-vehicle distance L, and then the process proceeds to step S814 where the inter-vehicle distance command value LrAfter subtracting the inter-vehicle distance L from the vehicle, the inter-vehicle distance deviation ΔL is calculated, and then the process proceeds to step S815. Based on the relative speed ΔV and the inter-vehicle distance deviation ΔL, Relative speed gain K with reference to inter-vehicle distance gain calculation mapVAnd reference inter-vehicle distance gain KL0To calculate the relative speed gain KVIs updated and stored in the relative speed gain storage area of the memory, and then the process proceeds to step S816 to determine the reference inter-vehicle distance gain KL0Multiplied by the correction coefficient CL(= C × KL0) And is updated and stored in the inter-vehicle distance gain storage area of the memory, and then the control gain calculation process is terminated.
[0062]
Further, when the determination result of step S801 is reset to “0” representing the straight road, the process jumps directly to step S808.
The process of FIG. 19 corresponds to the deceleration suppression means, the process of step S813 corresponds to the relative speed calculation means, and the process of step S814 corresponds to the inter-vehicle distance deviation calculation means.
[0063]
Next, the operation of the first embodiment will be described.
Now, the driver operates the
[0064]
Then, in the inter-vehicle distance control process of FIG. 14, the calculation of the equation (14) is performed, and the optimum vehicle speed command value V corresponding to the follow-up traveling state with respect to the preceding vehicle on the straight road.L *Is calculated and the vehicle speed command value V is calculated.SP *Is updated and stored in the vehicle speed command value storage area.
Therefore, in the target vehicle speed calculation process of FIG. 15, the vehicle speed command value V corresponding to the road conditionR *And the vehicle speed command value V according to the distance between vehiclesSP *Therefore, the process proceeds to step S503, where the vehicle speed command value V according to the inter-vehicle distance or the likeSP *Is the target vehicle speed V*This target vehicle speed V is set as*Vehicle speed control processing is performed based on the target vehicle speed V*Own vehicle speed VSDrive shaft torque command value TW *Is calculated. This drive shaft torque command value TW *Based on the drive shaft torque control process, the throttle opening command value θ*And brake fluid pressure command value PB *Are calculated and output to the engine
[0065]
When the preceding vehicle approaches the curve from the following traveling state on the straight road, first, when the vehicle position information and the road data are read from the
[0066]
Next, in the passable vehicle speed calculation process of FIG. 12, the passable vehicle speed V for each node.CKIs calculated (step S202), and the vehicle speed V of the own vehicle position for each node is further calculated.CCKIs calculated (step S203), and the vehicle speed V at these own vehicle positions is calculated.CCKThe minimum value is selected from the above, and this is set as the upper limit vehicle speed V of the host vehicle position.CC *Set as.
Next, in the curve approach control process of FIG. 13, the vehicle speed command value V calculated by the inter-vehicle distance control process.SP *Is the upper limit vehicle speed VCC *A predetermined value C1It is determined whether it is larger than the value obtained by adding. At this time, the vehicle speed command value VSP *Is the upper limit vehicle speed VCC *A predetermined value C1If the value is smaller than the value obtained by adding, the process proceeds to step S305, whereSP *Is the upper limit vehicle speed VCC *To predetermined value C2Is greater than the value obtained by subtracting the vehicle speed, that is, the vehicle speed V that can pass through the curve before reaching the curve entrance from the vehicle position.CKVehicle speed command value V according to road conditionsR *The vehicle speed command value V corresponding to the road condition in which the vehicle is traveling on the previous straight road is terminated without updating the curve.R *To maintain.
[0067]
On the other hand, in the inter-vehicle distance control process of FIG. 14, since the preceding vehicle is captured, the inter-vehicle distance command value L according to the above equation (1).rThen, the control gain calculation process of FIG. 19 is executed. In this control gain calculation process, since the traveling road flag FR is set to “1”, the process proceeds from step S801 to step S802, and the calculation of the above equation (17) is performed to calculate the limit inter-vehicle distance L.MINAfter the calculation, the process proceeds to step S803, and the preceding vehicle is not approaching the curve, so the distance L from the vehicle position to the curveKBecomes larger than the inter-vehicle distance L with the preceding vehicle (LK> L), the process proceeds to step S804, and the distance L from the preceding vehicle to the curve according to the equation (18).TIs calculated and then the calculation of the equation (19) is performed to estimate the curve approach vehicle speed V at the preceding vehicle position.CCT *Is calculated. At this time, as is apparent from the equation (19), the curve approach vehicle speed estimated value VCCT *Is the vehicle speed V that can pass the curve that can pass the curve aheadCKA larger value.
[0068]
Next, the process proceeds to step S806, where the preceding vehicle decelerates in preparation for curve driving, but the preceding vehicle speed V at that timeTIs the estimated vehicle speed V approaching the vehicle at the position of the preceding vehicleCCT *When it is above, it is determined that the preceding vehicle is in a normal deceleration state on a curve, and the process proceeds to step S807.
In this step S807, the preceding vehicle vehicle speed VTVehicle speed V that can pass through the curveCKSince the vehicle speed V that can pass through the curve is higher than the upper limit vehicle speed VMAXThe vehicle speed margin value ΔVA is calculated by calculating the equation (21). At this time, the vehicle speed command value V according to the road conditionR *Is the vehicle speed command value V on the straight roadR *The preceding vehicle speed VTSince the vehicle is decelerating in preparation for entering the curve, the vehicle speed margin value ΔVA becomes a positive value, and the vehicle speed correction coefficient C is referred to with reference to the vehicle speed correction coefficient calculation map of FIG.VWhen calculating the vehicle speed correction coefficient CVBecomes a value smaller than “1.0”.
[0069]
On the other hand, the inter-vehicle distance L detected by the
[0070]
The correction coefficient C is calculated with reference to the inter-vehicle distance gain calculation map with reference to the inter-vehicle distance gain calculation map.L0 Multiplying by the inter-vehicle distance gain KLThis inter-vehicle distance gain KLIs smaller than the previous straight running condition. Therefore, the vehicle speed command value V is calculated by performing the calculation of the equation (16).L *When calculating the inter-vehicle distance gain KLVehicle speed command value VL *Will increase. Therefore, originally, when the preceding vehicle decelerates in preparation for curve driving, the inter-vehicle distance L is shortened, and the vehicle speed command value V is accordingly increased.L *Decreases and shifts to the deceleration state.LDecreases, the vehicle speed command value VL *To prevent the driver from feeling uncomfortable by restraining the vehicle from shifting to a deceleration state far ahead of the curve following the deceleration in preparation for curve driving of the preceding vehicle. Can do.
[0071]
In this deceleration suppression control state, the inter-vehicle distance L from the preceding vehicle is gradually shortened because the deceleration of the host vehicle is suppressed, and the limit inter-vehicle distance LMIN, The distance margin value ΔLA gradually decreases. This distance margin value ΔLA is the set value ΔLA.1In the state exceeding the distance correction coefficient CLIs the set value C1Because it is fixed to, the inter-vehicle distance control gain KLWill continue to be reduced. By continuing the decrease state of the inter-vehicle distance L, the distance margin value ΔLA becomes the set value ΔLA.1If less than, the distance correction coefficient CLIs the set value C1As the correction coefficient C increases, the inter-vehicle distance control gain KLIncreases, the deceleration suppression state is gradually relaxed, so that the inter-vehicle distance L becomes the limit inter-vehicle distance LMINIt is surely prevented from becoming less than the above. In addition, an interrupt vehicle from another lane interrupts between the host vehicle and the preceding vehicle, and the inter-vehicle distance L is the limit inter-vehicle distance LMINWhen the distance becomes less than or equal to the distance margin value ΔLA, the distance correction coefficient CLIs the set value C2Since the correction coefficient C exceeds “1”, the inter-vehicle distance control gain KLBecomes larger than the specified value, and this minute vehicle speed command value VL *Since the value becomes small, a large deceleration can be obtained and the inter-vehicle distance from the interrupting vehicle can be increased.
[0072]
After that, when the preceding vehicle travels on the curve, the distance L between the vehicle position and the curveKIs shorter than the inter-vehicle distance L with the preceding vehicle, the process proceeds to step S805 from step S803 in the control gain calculation process of FIG. 19, and the vehicle speed command value V at the preceding vehicle position is determined.CCT *Vehicle speed VCKIs set and the preceding vehicle speed VTThe vehicle speed V that can pass the curve to drive the curveCKAs a result, the process proceeds from step S806 to step S812, and the correction coefficient C (= CV× CL) Is set to “1.0”, the inter-vehicle distance control gain KLReturns to its normal value. Therefore, the inter-vehicle distance L with the preceding vehicle is set to the inter-vehicle distance command value LrVehicle speed command value V for generating a predetermined deceleration so as to matchL *Is calculated, and the vehicle speed control is performed accordingly. As a result, even when the preceding vehicle finds a stopped vehicle or an obstacle after entering the curve and suddenly decelerates, it can perform deceleration control by generating an appropriate deceleration.
[0073]
Note that the vehicle speed command value V calculated by the inter-vehicle distance control process when the preceding vehicle is traveling in front of the curve.SP *Is the upper limit vehicle speed command value VCC *A predetermined value C1When the value exceeds the value obtained by adding the vehicle speed, the process proceeds from step S303 to step S304 in the curve approach control process of FIG.SP *The value obtained by subtracting the predetermined value α from the vehicle speed command value V corresponding to the
[0074]
In addition, when the preceding vehicle is traveling in front of the curve, the preceding vehicle speed VTIs the estimated vehicle speed V approaching the vehicle at the position of the preceding vehicleCCT *Even if this is the case, the preceding vehicle speed VTIs the vehicle speed command value V for road conditionsR *If this is the case, the vehicle speed correction coefficient C calculated with reference to the vehicle speed correction coefficient calculation map of FIG.VIs the predetermined value CV2(= 1), the correction coefficient C does not become “1” or less, and the inter-vehicle distance control gain KLIs maintained at a regular value, so that the host vehicle can decelerate to the passable vehicle speed and enter the curve without performing deceleration suppression processing.
[0075]
Further, the vehicle speed command value V calculated by the inter-vehicle distance control process while the preceding vehicle is traveling in front of the curve.SP *Is the upper limit vehicle speed command value VCC *To predetermined value C2When the value obtained by subtracting is smaller, the process proceeds from step S305 to step S306 in the curve approach control process of FIG.SP *A value obtained by adding a predetermined value β to the vehicle speed command value V corresponding to the road conditionR *Set as. Therefore, in the target vehicle speed calculation process of FIG.SP *Is the target vehicle speed V*The vehicle speed command value V corresponding to the road condition in the control gain calculation process of FIG.R *Increases, the vehicle speed margin value ΔVA increases. Therefore, the vehicle speed correction coefficient C calculated with reference to the vehicle speed correction coefficient calculation map of FIG.VIs a small value, so the inter-vehicle distance control gain KLBecomes a small value, and the vehicle speed command value V calculated by the inter-vehicle distance control processL *The vehicle speed command value V according to the road conditionsR *Acceleration can be controlled within the range.
[0076]
On the other hand, when the preceding vehicle is traveling on a curve from a straight road, a sudden deceleration with a greater deceleration than the deceleration state prepared for the curve by finding a stopped vehicle or obstacle on the curve In the case of transition to the state, the preceding vehicle speed V is determined by the control gain calculation process in FIG.TIs the estimated vehicle speed V approaching the vehicle at the position of the preceding vehicleCCT *Therefore, the process proceeds from step S806 to step S812, and the correction coefficient C (= CV× CL) Is set to “1.0”, the inter-vehicle distance control gain KLThus, it is possible to control the deceleration by generating an appropriate deceleration according to the decrease in the inter-vehicle distance L from the preceding vehicle.
[0077]
As described above, according to the first embodiment, when the preceding vehicle approaches the entrance of the curve and decelerates in preparation for the curve travel, the inter-vehicle distance control gain K of the host vehicle is set.LBy reducing the occurrence of deceleration and suppressing the occurrence of deceleration, it is possible to reliably prevent the host vehicle from decelerating far before the curve and causing the driver to feel uncomfortable. After that, when the preceding vehicle travels on a curve, the inter-vehicle distance control gain KLIs restored to the normal value, and the normal follow-up running state is restored.
[0078]
In addition, when the preceding vehicle travels a curve and finds a stopped vehicle or an obstacle, and suddenly decelerates at a deceleration larger than the deceleration prepared for the curve travel, the inter-vehicle distance control gain KLNormal vehicle distance control gain KLTherefore, it is possible to generate an appropriate deceleration for sudden deceleration of the preceding vehicle.
In the first embodiment, the inter-vehicle distance control gain K in the inter-vehicle distance control process.LHowever, the present invention is not limited to this, and the relative speed control gain K is not limited to this.VThe vehicle distance control gain K may be increased.LAnd relative speed control gain KVMay be increased.
[0079]
In the first embodiment, the inter-vehicle distance command value LrHowever, the present invention is not limited to this, and the
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
[0080]
In the second embodiment, instead of changing the control gain in the inter-vehicle distance control process, the inter-vehicle distance command value LrThe deceleration is suppressed by reducing.
That is, in the second embodiment, the
[0081]
In this inter-vehicle distance command value calculation process, first, in step S901, it is determined whether or not the traveling road flag FR is reset to “0”. If this is reset to “0” representing a straight road, step S902 is performed. The calculation of the above equation (1) is performed and the normal inter-vehicle distance command value LrIs calculated, and the inter-vehicle distance command value calculation process is terminated.
[0082]
If the determination result in step S901 is that the travel route flag FR is set to “1” representing a curve, the process proceeds to step S903, and whether the previous travel route flag FR was “0”, that is, a curve is detected for the first time this time. It is determined whether or not the vehicle has entered a state in which the vehicle has entered the state, and when the previous travel flag FR has been reset to "0" and the vehicle is in a state of detecting a curve for the first time this time, the process proceeds to step S904, and a preset inter-vehicle time THThe inter-vehicle time TH1After the setting, the process proceeds to step S905.

In this step S905, the preceding vehicle speed VTIs the vehicle speed command value V according to road conditionsR *Determine whether it is smaller than VT<VR *When it is, the process proceeds to step S906, where the preceding vehicle speed VTIs the vehicle speed command value V at the preceding vehicle position.CCT *It is determined whether or not it is equal to or greater than VT≧ VCCT *If YES, the process proceeds to step S907.
In this step S907, it is determined whether or not the preceding vehicle deceleration flag FTD indicating whether or not the preceding vehicle has decelerated is set to “1”. If this is set to “1”, the process proceeds directly to step S910. , When it is reset to “0”, the process proceeds to step S908 to set the preceding vehicle deceleration flag FTD to “1”, and then proceeds to step S909 to start the preceding vehicle deceleration start timer and then step The process proceeds to S910.
[0084]
In step S910, the timer value T of the preceding vehicle deceleration start timerTIs the predetermined time T1It is determined whether it is smaller than (for example, about 1 second) and TT<T1When it is, the process proceeds to step S911, where the inter-vehicle distance L is the limit inter-vehicle distance L calculated by the above-described equation (17).MINIt is determined whether or not L is greater than L> LMINIf YES, the process proceeds to step S912, where the inter-vehicle distance L is set to the inter-vehicle distance command value L.rIs set and is updated and stored in the inter-vehicle distance command value storage area of the memory, and then the inter-vehicle distance command value calculation process is terminated,MINWhen it is, the routine proceeds to step S913, where the limit inter-vehicle distance LMIN AInter-vehicle distance command value LrIs set, and this is updated and stored in the inter-vehicle distance command value storage area, and then the inter-vehicle distance command value calculation process is terminated.
[0085]
The determination result in step S910 is TT≧ T1When it is, the routine proceeds to step S914, where the timer value T of the preceding vehicle deceleration start timerTIs the predetermined time T1To determine whether or not TT= T1When it is, the routine proceeds to step S915, where the inter-vehicle distance L and the preceding vehicle speed VTBased on the above, the following equation (22) is calculated to calculate the inter-vehicle time TH0And the stored value V of the vehicle speedS0Current vehicle speed VSThen, the following equation (23) is calculated to calculate the inter-vehicle distance command value LrIs calculated, and the inter-vehicle distance command value calculation process is terminated.

Lr= VT× TH1 ............ (26)
On the other hand, the determination result of step S905 is VT≧ VR *And the determination result in step S906 is VT<VCCT *If YES, the process proceeds to step S918, the preceding vehicle deceleration flag FTD is reset to “0”, and then the process proceeds to step S919 to initialize the timer value T to “0” for the preceding vehicle deceleration start timer. After performing the conversion, the process proceeds to step S920.

In this step S920, the inter-vehicle time TH1The inter-vehicle time T set byHTo determine whether or not TH1= THIf YES in step S921, the flow advances to step S921 to calculate the following equation (27), and the inter-vehicle distance command value LrIs calculated, and the inter-vehicle distance command value calculation process is terminated.

On the other hand, when the preceding vehicle is traveling in front of the curve and without shifting from step S906 to step S907, that is, when the preceding vehicle deceleration start flag FTD is maintained at "0", Leading vehicle speed VTIs the estimated vehicle speed V approaching the vehicle at the position of the preceding vehicleCCT *If it is smaller, the preceding vehicle is not decelerated in preparation for the curve, but it is determined that the vehicle is decelerating due to the presence of a stopped vehicle or an obstacle, and the process proceeds from step S906 to step S918.
