上記した従来の耳係合装置では、固定垂片55の面に長孔56を設けて、この長孔にスライドピン57を取付けているため、スライドピンを取付けるための長孔を必要とし、而もこの長孔は固定垂片の中央のほぼ全長に旦って相応の広い溝巾に形成されるため、固定垂片の強度が損なわれる結果、該垂片を含む支持具本体51の板厚、板巾を本来より大きくし高強度のものに製作する必要があり、又長孔及びスライドピンの成形加工にも多大の困難を伴い生産性並びにコストの面で問題点を有していた。
